Hey lumpygrab shippers, it’s me, ya boi

1) Who can outdrink the other?

Hmmm... LSP, just because she has more experience and Lemongrab doesn’t like the taste of most alcoholic drinks (same).

2) Who says “I love you” more?

Lemongrab. I’d think LSP just takes it as an understood thing and maybe acts tough sometimes, but Lemongrab says it very casually whenever given the chance, mostly because whenever he’s with her he’s reminded of it, of the fact that he loves her, because she smiled or because she joked or just little things like that, everything, it reminds him that “oh, here’s the person I fell in love with” and so he reminds her of it too by saying this thought out loud.

3) Who has trouble sleeping alone?

Pretty sure Lemongrab had trouble sleeping even before dating LSP, as we see in The Mountain (whaaat I reference an actual AT episode??? That’ll never happen again), but after getting used to sharing a bed with her, I’d imagine he grows to hate whenever she has to stay the night somewhere else. The empty spot next to him is haunting, and usually he deals with this by calling/texting her, or reading through her old messages, or through his photos of her or them together, or just generally thinking of her :)

4) Who swears more?

LSP. Lemongrab was created to be an earl and as such he was never supposed to swear and it might literally not be in his DNA to do so. But maybe with time as LSP rubs off on him he mimics her lump-related swears and curses.

5) Who does more of the housework?

Neither of them because they have servants. I actually think LSP would generally want to keep places from being messy because she was taught to “clean her room” by her parents and Lemongrab would focus more on details like if anything’s dusty or stained or something because it’s annoying and/or could cause an illness in the long run.

6) Who forgets their anniversary?

Well neither of them because they’re anxious about it months before the actual date of the anniversary 🤷‍♀️ Can’t forget if your self-conscious brain keeps reminding you that “what if it’s our last anniversary? What gift should I bring? Should the date be special or casual??”

But don’t worry they have friends who help and the date always ends up being nice~

7) Who steals the duvet in their sleep?

Both. It results in one waking the other and occasional midnight tug-o-wars.

8) Who keeps the other awake at night with their snoring?

LSP, without doubt. I don’t remember from the episodes but I’m pretty sure she’s a snorer and even talks in her sleep.

Lemongrab has learned to always have ear plugs in his nightstand.

9) Who finds stray animals and begs the other to keep them?

LSP again. Lemongrab is more rational in this, but I’m pretty sure if she begged hard enough he wouldn’t deny her anything. This might result in them having fifteen dogs and twenty cats at one point in the future. They compromise by keeping them but actively searching for someone who could take care of them. At one point people just start bringing them strays they found because the two prove to be effective caretaker-seekers.

10) Who usually makes dinner?

It varies, but both of them are absolutely terribly bad at cooking the first few months. But they try and get better, occasionally inviting friends for dinner too.

11) Who plays their music out loud?

LSP, because she’s trying to find out if Lemongrab has a specific music taste. So whenever they’re in the same room but not necessarily having to focus too much she puts her playlist on shuffle, if he doesn’t like a song they skip it, but if she sees him perk up upon hearing the song, she saves it and eventually builds a playlist of songs LG likes :)

12) Who hogs the bathroom?

I literally have no idea how to answer this question.

13) Who gives the most compliments?

While Lemongrab says “I love you” specifically, LSP has the most compliments to share. She’d say in passing that “aw you’re laughing in that adorable way again” or “you look pretty hot in the new outfit not gonna lie” and sometimes she just outright wants to make him flustered but it’s always genuine.

14) Who usually starts/causes arguments between them?

LSP, because she’s petty. Not as much nowadays, but she is and she doesn’t want to admit she’s wrong, but LG doesn’t either, so while their arguments are usually about really irrelevant things they can go on for hours. Ironically, the more serious the argument, the sooner they solve it with communication. But they could argue over who was supposed to bring Marceline a gift for her birthday for hours on end.

15) Who isn’t afraid to embarrass the other in public?

Lumpy Space Princess! She absolutely carries the “look at my hot boyfriend!” athmosphere anywhere she goes with him (probably has it written on a shirt or two), but then again...👇

16) Who gives the other cringeworthy pet names?

Lemongrab comes up with so many cute pet names. Like. Such an incredible amount of sweetie pies and sugar lumps (@charliedanilovich is to be blamed for that one) and lavender blooms (a more poetic one) and it’s his revenge for the attention she draws to him. Fair warning, sometimes spending to much time around them can cause diabetes from how sweet they are towards each other.

17) Who takes care of the other when the other is sick?

Both! They fuss and make soup and cancel appointments and probably ever so often go through the “oh my glob babe are u gonna die???” panic but at the end of the day, they both do everything they can to be there for each other.

18) Who finds it impossible to stay angry at the other for long?

Neither of them can stay angry for too long. Eventually one of them snuggles up to the other and they mumble “I’m sorry...” and the other will wrap an arm around them saying “come here, you” and that’s that.

19) Who clings to the other for comfort?

Lemongrab..? I’m not so sure about this one but I think after a while of realizing that LSP is pretty much okay with everything, he holds onto her when he gets stressed or when he’s in an unfamiliar situation of some kind, or when he wakes up from a nightmare he hugs her tightly because the physical touch helps him ground himself and realize this is real and she’s real and she’s got his back.

20) Who is more physically passionate?

At the start? LSP. She initiates the hand holding, and the kissing, and just physical affection in general, and at first it’s really weird but as Lemongrab gets more comfortable with having someone to share physical affection with again after basically losing a brother to share it with, he initiates more of it. I kinda wanna project my own experience of being mindblown every time because “wait we can actually just casually hold hands right??? And I can come up to her and just cuddle for a minute????? And oh my gosh wait I can just kiss her!” and being excited about the simple fact that he has someone who shows him love and who he can show love to.
