The English title of this movie is My Boyfriend's Meds. I saw Las Pildoras De Mi Novio tonight because it was playing at my Regal and I have #RegalUnlimited. This is like it was written for Jim Carey or Will Ferrell but given to an actor who can inhabit a character instead of just a list of mannerisms. A girl falls for the perfect boyfriend and brings him on a work vacation where it turns out he's only perfect because he takes a long list of pills. And he managed to leave the pills at home. Mania ensues. The movie lands on a nice message about 1/4 of all people having mental health issues requiring medication. In addition to Jaime Camil from DuckTales, Legend of the Three Caballeros and Jane The Virgin, the cast includes Jason Alexander from the Aladdin cartoon series, Brooke Shields and The Office's Brian Baumgartner.
