You used to hate life in Hateno. Repetitive, boring, safe. When you met Link, things finally changed and that sense of adventure you’ve been craving was gifted to you. But now he’s gone on another work trip with Zelda (something about sheep going missing in Rito) and that same lacklustre energy has returned once more. For the three weeks that he’s been gone your days consist of multiple walks to the beach, reading some books Link gifted you before he left and cleaning the same spotless kitchen over and over again, and you’ve almost lost your mind. All you want is his touch, his voice and care, warming your body on cold days and bringing intrigue to this quaint little town.

The days dragged on, until it’s FINALLY the day he comes home, and you couldn’t wait to see him once more. Unlike every morning the past couple of weeks, this morning you jump out of bed and skip down the stairs. You dust and mop the house to ensure it is perfect, then go into town for some shopping. Picking out the finest fresh ingredients for dinner, you ensure everything will be perfect for your special night.

Finally, the day has come for Link to return to you. He gets on his horse – a beautiful brown stallion with a flowing mane and strong canter, riding quickly off to you. He cannot wait to see you, no matter if you just want to relax or have some fun, seeing your beautiful face is all he wants to do. Arriving at the village many a neighbour wave enthusiastically at him, clearly wanting to stop and ask about what mission he was up to. But he merely waved and kept on going, not having the time nor energy to keep up some dull conversation. Going up to the house, the excitement within builds just by looking at the stone cottage and blue flowers coming into the view.

Jumping off his horse and going to the front door, Link fixes his hair and the crinkles on his clothes. He wants to be perfect for you, and if he knew how you looked right now he’d think twice about turning up in his dirty old adventurers gear. Knocking on the door he hears shuffling, then your sweet voice calling “coming!”

When the door opens only your face peaks out, eyes lighting up when you see him. “Link!” You open the door, revealing yourself in a see-through robe, leaving nothing to the imagination. A blush quickly coats Links cheeks, moving fast inside to conceal you from the outside world. Giggling, you submit to him pushing you inside, knowing exactly what effect you have on him. He chuckles too, almost (but not exactly) shocked by your actions. “I can’t believe you” he says, enveloping you in a warm hug as his hands caress your back. “I missed you” you mumble into his shoulder. “You too” he lovingly returns. “But now…” Link lifts you up and grabs your ass with a firm hand and walks you up the stairs.

Despite your protests about dinner being on the table, he continues, plopping you down on the bed with grace. He has always been such a patient man with you, sitting silently for your rants or staying up all night during your painful period cramps but when he sees something he wants, all of that changes. Unbuckling his armour holds, his eyes rake over you with excitement, probably already imaging how your pretty little voice will sound one he gets his hands on you. You don’t waste a second either, unravelling that silk robe to leave your skin cold to the air surrounding you. Without a word, Link pulls his shirt off and falls on top of you, kissing your neck with a fervour you haven’t seen in quite some time.

You groan, just this simple touch filling your core with a wet and warm sensation you’ve truly missed having around. Your hand unbuckles his belt with a practiced ease, plunging your hand into his pants to feel his throbbing member. Link groans into your skin but does not stop his mission of marking your body, now moving down to leave red splotches on your collarbone. As kind as he is, the man is possessive, and has been dreaming about this moment for many a night.

“I need you” You moan, discarding your prior plan to act uninterested and sultry. Who has time for that anyways? Submitting to your request Link swiftly drops his pants, rubbing your clit as you gasp. You do the same, pumping his dick that has already been coated in precum. That familiar towering high overcoming his sweating body, so he pulls out, despite the fact he would rather stay within your walls forever. You both sit silently for a good while, soaking in the reality that you are reunited and letting the food get cold on the dining table. This is a moment you wouldn’t trade for the world.

SD21 - Civilized Light Dragon

Smaugust Day 21: Civilized [ 2023 ] Things I'm not good at: objects interacting with other objects and perspective. This doubtless demonstrates those weaknesses in clear relief. But one must try in order to improve, and that I did. Given enough research and practice, I'll get it eventually. Now is not that day though. Anyway, this is the Light Dragon from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, anthropomorphized to fit the "civilized" prompt. Also drinking tea because such is what civilized persons do. Weirdly, this is the third time I've drawn some creature sitting in a chair drinking tea, which is more times than I thought I'd ever do that. It's definitely my favorite of the dragons in the series and this represents a more light-hearted take on its concept. If you're wondering, I've never completed any Zelda games and don't really consider myself a fan of the series. I've watched my husband and various people play through them though, and find certain designs and concepts intriguing. [Smaugust is an art challenge in August where one must draw one dragon a day.]
