I'm not sure if you've already said this but I'm asking anyway. Since you're the local Flashfam expert and also a PJO lover (you have no idea how happy I am that we like the same things), what godly parents would the Flashfam have? Like, all of the fam. Counting characters like Linda and Iris
And it'd also be cool if you assigned a cabin for the Titans and/or the Young Justice too-
I mean it has to be Hermes. It literally has to be Hermes for the speedsters. Like, maybe we throw in a Roman twist and say Mercury every once in a while, but that's just gotta be the answer.
Jay literally wears Hermes' helmet. Max named himself after Mercury. Barry wears Hermes' winged shoes and has wings on his head. Same with Wally. Jay is also literally given Hermes'/Mercury's powers on Earth-2.
And it makes sense, it really does. God of travellers? Check. The winged aesthetic? Check. God of messengers? Check! God of tricksters, liars and thieves? Look, the speedsters are all of the above just in a VERY chaotic good way. They don't rob people but also when Wally found out that the museum had the bones of a fallen soldier from another country without said countries permission or consent? HE STOLE THEM BACK. Bart has absolutely no qualms taking things, Max has been a thief in the past, Jay and Barry work by pirate rules aka 'if I defeat you, I get your stuff', ect. They don't do armed robbery and they don't like stealing from random citizens, but bad guys are free game.
Iris I have to go on the nose and say Iris because Iris is the goddess of messengers and rainbows, and Iris is literally a reporter? So her whole thing is spreading information? While looking stunning.
Linda is an Athena kid 125%. Linda writes books, she was a kickass investigative reporter, she went to med school, she knows more about speedster biology and how it works than literally anyone else in her home dimension, she regularly fights aliens with no powers and just whatever weapons she finds laying around. Linda is intelligent, she's cunning and witty and she will cut a bitch.
Joan is a Hestia kid. Just... family, love, warmth. Need I say more?
As for the Titans... well, Donna is already taken care of. Garth... is technically also taken care of I think?? Atlanteans exist in Greek mythology so Garth is just the same I think. Roy... fuck it, Ares. I said what I said come at me bro. For Dick I would want to go with a minor god or goddess, I like the idea of him being a child of Psyche (Goddess of the human soul) because he is very human and he understands people on a level that might be considered supernatural. Lilith would be the oracle. Karen would be a child of Hephaestus and Mal would 100% just be a guy who can see through the mist and has a shield.
Gar is the last son of Pan because that's cool AF. Raven would be the daughter of Tartarus I think. Vic would be a son of Apollo. I know it's really easy to go for Hephaestus for Vic but honestly, the key part of Vic's story to me isn't that he's a cyborg, it's that he's human. He's a survivor, who, against all odds, received bat shit crazy medical treatment from his father and survived a fatal accident. I like the idea that Apollo saw a guy doing crazy stuff to advance medical science and was like 'Hey there 😉😉😉😉'. Also pre accident Vic was a football player which has a lot to do with aim, so idk, I just like it. Starfire would be a demigod child of the sun deity on her home planet.
For Young Justice, Cassie and Bart are already covered. Kon would be a legacy of Nemesis (Lex) and a legacy of a deity from Krypton. Cissie would be a daughter of Ares and a legacy of Apollo. Greta would be a child of Morpheus. Tim would be the son of Lachesis. Slobo is Slobo. Anita.... Tbh I want to say she's a legacy of Aphrodite? Love is a huge part of her backstory and I dislike giving the non powered characters godly parentage that explains away their abilities. They worked hard for those skills!

My scatter-brained review of Wonder Woman 1984 (written partly while watching and then revised afterward)
I finally got curious enough to watch Wonder Woman 1984.  
Warning: There ARE spoilers here! 
I was reluctant to watch it because I knew the plot would deal with wishes coming true “But at a price” and Wonder Woman’s love coming back as a result of this plot Magoffin. This is something I have seen many times before.   And frankly I was bored with it years ago. 
 The predictable plot beats being a “Be careful what you wish for” theme.  The Monkey’s Paw (and all adaptations of the story) and variations like The Twisted Claw in “Are you Afraid of the Dark?” It was obvious to me that such a wish would bring Steve back and he would eventually “have to “ return to being dead. Frankly, I’m tired of that.  I think a great twist would be if the person didn’t have to return to being dead for once.  I’ve seen this plot done too often in comics, TV, and film.
Now for the good.  I LOVE the early 80s aesthetic.  I even got a bit of Legend of Billie Jean vibes.  It’s very accurate to the look and feel of a 1980s film.  It felt authentic, not just “Hey, remember this!”    
Nineteen minutes in and I saw the ham-handed tell-tale signs that Diana would have to learn to love again, to trust and open her heart, and to invite others in again.  And to heal she would have to “learn to let go” of Steve.  But as I said, I’m tired of these grief messages. Especially now, especially in 2020.  I want a new twist . I want the lost loved one to come back, I want the happily ever after with the formerly dead loved one.  I’m tired of this trope.
They even out-right compare it to “The Monkey’s Paw” story in the film.  Acknowledging that something is a cliché doesn’t make it any less of a cliché. You’re just trying to lampshade it by pointing it out in story and it just didn’t really work for me.
The “Dreamstone” in this does not look like Morpheus’ ruby amulet but instead it resembles the “ruby” (this one is a citrine) from Justice League Dark (the animated movie).  And no, the God mentioned is NOT Morpheus.  The God in question is a “trickster and a liar.”  Gee, I wonder who that could be?   I suspect the “true name” wasn’t given because they were afraid of confusion with Marvel’s depiction of the same character.  A lot of people don’t realize Loki is in the public domain.  Even Joanne Harris (author of Gospel of Loki) thinks her book can’t be adapted into film because Marvel / Disney owns Loki but that’s not true.  The character is as public as Snow White or Robin Hood.  Anyone can use him. 
There’s some subtle hints of Diana’s bisexuality.   I’m glad for this, I still come across fans who refuse to accept she’s bi and insist word of author (Gail Simone) don’t count because she didn’t “create” Wonder Woman.  The same people should REALLY look up the behind the scenes life of the man who did.  Anyway, I almost thought Diana lean in and kiss Barbara after the rescue in the park but she didn’t.
Maxwell Lord offers Diana a nineteen inch TV.  Note to kids: that is NOT big even by 80s standards.  We did have large screen TVs back then. My grandfather had a very big one back in the 80s.
I also really like the soundtrack.   
When the camera spun around Diana and Steve’s reunion it made me dizzy.   I don’t like that effect.   It’s so common with romantic scenes but I found it dizzying.  Flashbacks of the film Legend of Hercules from 2014... 
The dreamstone in this appears to have been made of sand all along so maybe it is one of Dream of The Endless’ dreamstones after all.  But that’s the only hint to even suggest this.
When Steve shows up, it’s like the writers forgot modern history.  He shouldn’t be THAT impressed with an escalator or a a subway.  Subways were already in existence when he died! The New York City subway, for example, opened in 1904.  And he knows what trash cans are!  I know that was meant to be funny but that’s stupid.  He’s from the early twentieth century, not five-hundred-years-ago.
How did Maxwell Lord know Steve Trevor was inhabiting someone else’s body but didn’t know for certain Barbara had made a wish?  Does he just know everything the stone touched or does he sense the desires of others?  How did he know to suggest “Don’t you want to be a real boy?” with Steve?
Steve’s fate was painfully predictable, so much so that I felt nothing when she had to let him go.   See, these “realistic” / “have to stay” dead plots they’re shoe-horning into comic stories are now done so often that they are trite.  You know what’s coming.  You know what they want you to feel and you (or I, at least) went numb instead.  I think I would have felt more if she somehow got to keep him . But the fact that he wasn’t even in his own body was the first clue that my prediction was right.
Finally, I actually really like how they resolved the Maxwell Lord (Trump-esque) plot and his character arc.   It was very late in the story that they decided to show a sympathetic side to him, and flashbacks of his upbringing and I feel it should have been done earlier in the film but it still worked.  I like that love for his son is what saved everyone.  I am a sucker for a redemption story.  
  I like the themes of love and hope even though I still resent the predictability of what happened with Steve Trevor and the hamhanded “She needed to learn to move on” part.
The Steve plot was the weakest part of the story, in my opinion.   But as far as superhero movies go this was decent . It wasn’t boring and the morals weren’t too preachy.  Sure, it had some corny and predicable moments (Not just with Steve Trevor) but in general it was enjoyable to watch.   
I don’t think it was as good as the first Wonder Woman movie but I do like it more than most of the Marvel sequels so that says something.   I’d like it a lot more if the Steve Trevor plot wasn’t even in there or had a new and interesting twist rather than the “You have to learn to let me go.”  As I said, I’m tired of death.  I’m tired of grief plots.  And I’m tired of how predictable this new obsession with perma-deaths in comic book-inspired stories has become.  
I’d say the film is a seventy nine out of a hundred for me, maybe three and a half out of five stars.  Not the best superhero film and definitely not as good as the first Wonder Woman movie but still better than many other superhero movie sequels.   
Also a certain outfit was added to the movie shamelessly to sell a new action figure.  Even kids know the trick.  A superhero movie gets a sequel, that means the hero has to get some new costume, or their look has to change in some way, just to sell a new action figure distinctly from this movie and not the first.  Marvel did this all the time. Loki went through three distinct outfits for three films.  
I loved Lynda Carter’s cameo in the end credits bonus scene for her.  That was the perfect role to her and very respectful to her legacy as having been the 1970s Wonder Woman.   That was one of the nicest and most respectful “original actor” cameos I had ever seen. 
Something else, I kind of wish the films would reveal the Greek Gods aren’t dead.  It really bugs me that they have implied since the first Wonder Woman movie that all the Greek Gods are dead / gone.   Then why do things imbued with their power still work?   I wish Hollywood would be more respectful to the old lore and polytheistic beliefs that many people (such as Neo pagans) still have.
Anyway, good.  Not great.   But still god and better than a lot of other superhero sequels and still better than more than half of DC’s other films of the last ten years.

• BIOGRAPHY •
Drake Manor was no place for a child to grow up. Tim's parents were two of Gotham's elite; Jack and Janet Drake. Tim spent the earliest years of his life being raised by nannies and the isolation of a large house. When Tim was a young child he watched as the Flying Grayson's plummeted to their deaths. It sparked an interest, first in Dick Grayson, and then once he found out about the secret being kept by the Wayne family, Batman and Robin.
He started to collect newspaper articles, and most nights would steal away into the streets to take pictures of the Dynamic Duo.It became an obsession, and when Jason Todd, the second Robin died. Tim found himself taking up the mantle to save Batman from himself. It was a good life; his parents never called, and the nannies hardly cared, so Tim was Robin, life remained consistent until Batman died. (He didn't really, but only Tim realised that).
When Bruce was lost, it seemed as though part of Tim had gone with. Dick was Batman, and he had fired Tim, only to replace him with Damian. So he left to go prove he wasn't crazy, and that was when he found himself working with Ra's al Ghul.
Tim is brilliant, and more than a little self destructive at the best of times. It's not always the worst thing, he worked hard, and had a tendency to throw himself into his work making him an excellent detective. Timothy Drake is above all, however, a reptile. He easily took on the skin of whatever he needed to be, and always tried to find the most self-serving path to success.

Dreams of Paradox
The Drakes were a well known family in the Dreamshare. Janet has been one of the most skilled extractors, and her husband had excelled at mixing somnacin. And then, of course, they died and everyone in the business wanted an in with their son, Timothy Drake. They wanted to guide him- shape him. His parents had been the best of the best, and they wanted him, believed that he could continue their legacy. Morpheus, one of the few ‘legitimate’ Dreamshare companies got to him first, and it was with that Tim learned how to navigate and use the dream. It was unfortunate for Morpheus, that Tim left them when he was old enough to pursue his own career in the Dreamshare. Perhaps it had been foolish to take the additional job, but a friend had asked him, and it had seemed fascinating.
Now on the run from Morpheus, Tim found that for as good as an extractor that he was, he was better at the being the point man. It had never been needed within Morpheus. They gave you a file of all the necessary information, and you got the information they wanted. For others in the Dreamshare, they weren’t so lucky. Tim was good at getting the information his team needed, and especially good at fixing the plans when things threatened to fall apart in the dream. Now, Tim spends his time as a privately contracted point man, avoiding the authorities. (He makes a totem, because he heard whispers of a way to keep yourself aware if you were in a dream. It’s a small polaroid photo of when he was a child and met the circus performer Dick Grayson).
Aperture of Midnight
When Janet Drake died, and Jack Drake fell into a coma, there was news, and reporters, and attention. But then, like with any sort of news, the next exiting thing happened, and Tim Drake was left with the news stories buried under the new exiting thing, and so he remained tucked away in that big empty house. For the several months it took for Jack Drake to wake up, life continued for Tim, unchanged. Neither his mother or father were home, at night he went into the city and photographed the vigilantes, and Drake manor was always haunted by shadows.
Of course, Jack eventually woke up, and after that life changed somewhat. He didn’t leave the country as much, and Drake Industries’ profit actually went up, now that it wasn’t being run almost entirely by greedy shareholders. Their relationship was never close, but Jack loved his son, and encouraged him pursuing his interests. he could take over the company when he was older, and when Jack was ready to hand it over. Sending the picture of Batman and Robin during one of the most recent fights with Poison Ivy to the newspaper had been a spur of the moment choice. There was something surprisingly prideful in seeing his photos in print. So with the next fight he sent in the photos as well, and the same with the next. Until Tim Drake became synonymous with Gotham Vigilantes.
Semper ad Meliora
‘Always toward better things’. One of Tim’s earliest memories was Janet telling him to always reach forwards, and to always aim to achieve more. He wasn’t entirely sure that she would be proud of him and what he had done. He wanted to think she would be. Then, four years after her death, he learned the truth of who his mother had been. She had not always been Janet Drake, no, she had been Jannat al Ghul. Older sister of Talia, and daughter of Melisande and and Ra’s al Ghul. Tim was eighteen when he learned the truth. He was the grandson of Ra’s al Ghul, (and Damian’s cousin). Ra’s offered him a place by his side, and Tim refused. He couldn’t– not now, there were things he needed to do, a family he wanted to stay with.

Conned Into Some Sort of Life
Tim Drake didn’t die that day he was stabbed by the Widower, at least, not quite. He was brought back from death, or near death. Maybe he had died between the hotel and the Cradle, he didn’t know, and Ra’s hadn’t told him. All he knew was that he had woken up and learned soon after, that he had been put into the Lazarus Pit. He may have hated Ra’s for doing this to him, but he could thank him for teaching him how to control the pit madness as well as he could. He finishes his time with the League and brings Bruce home, before following and going home to Gotham.
When he gets home the first thing he does is get a pair of blue contacts to cover the green they had become. He pretends to all the world that he was fine. He won’t– can’t let the others know the truth, know what sort of monster he’s become. He nearly killed Captain Boomerang, a bit of luck, and a half-desperate clinging to his morals stopped him. He isn’t sure he can stay in Gotham, and even less sure he can stay a vigilante. The madness was contained as best he could, but the desires were strong and he wasn’t sure he would be able to control it.
Domino Motion: It’s All Over The Papers
Tim Drake was his mother’s son. Charismatic, ambitious, and a chameleon, shifting form one persona to another with nothing more than a thought. He was smart, and knowing exactly what cards to play at any given moment had been a skill that he had been taught from birth. Perhaps Janet had not meant for Tim to go down the path he did, but that had hardly mattered. He had, and Gotham had been introduced to the charming, young Tim Drake. The name carries with it a sort of weight, and people whisper about him.
Tim Drake: brilliant, charming, intelligent, cold. The the Gotham elite, it meant the young man who had single-handedly managed to make Drake Industries one of the most formidable companies in Gotham. What they didn’t know was how the underworld had flourished because of him. Anarchy and disorganized crime had vanished, almost overnight, replaced by a mysterious figurehead who called themself “S”. The biggest issue presented there were the Bats, who seemed determined to stop him.
Eyes In The Night && Eyes of Power
“Beware The Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadowed perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed speak not a whispered word of them or they’ll send the Talon for your head.”
The Court of Owls was old– powerful in a way that nothing else in Gotham was. They watched, and waited, and shifted the world in the way they wanted. For the Drake’s, their place among the Court was not surprising. Jack didn’t care much for it, there was something about the Court that had disturbed him, but for Janet, and then later, their son, it came naturally. Until they decided that they didn’t like the way it was being run, and decided to stage a coup. Janet became the new leader of the Court of Owls, and several years later, when Tim was old enough, she gave the mantle over to him. She stepped to the side, and watched as her son conquered.
And conquer he did. The Drake’s reordered the Court of Owls, pulling enough marionette strings to hide them in a thousand shades of shadow and smokescreen walls, all while gathering even more power than they had previously had. When Jason Todd was killed by the Joker, the next week the clown was dead (the authorities had no idea what had happened. the Talons did as they were instructed). Some things could be tolerated, killing the son of the Batman was not one of them. The risk of them getting exposed in an angry tirade was too high. So they killed Joker, and dealt with the problem before it could get any worse.
All For Fun && Jewels
Meeting Catwoman the first time had been an accident, but so had the second, and third, and sixth times as well. Eventually it had become almost a game to see how long he could follow her without being noticed. He wasn’t quite sure when his interest had shifted from batman and Robin to Gotham’s most notorious cat burglar, but it had, and most nights Tim was content to follow her, and catch the pictures that he could. For months that continued, until the one night where Catwoman was taking longer than he had expected her to, and the police had arrived.
It didn’t take long for him to get to the window Catwoman had entered, and called through to her, a warning that the police had arrived. It was the first time he’d actually spoken to her since he had made the unconscious choice to photograph her. After that, he met her properly, and she took him out for hot chocolate, more to get answers about the child that had been following her for months than anything else. Tim just kind of stuck after that, she wouldn’t let him near anything properly dangerous, but he made sure to warn her if anything was coming. It wasn’t until he was slightly older that he asked her if he could join her, and after a few more months of asking he was allowed to become Catwoman’s companion, Stray.
