10 - That's quite a tricky one to answer… Because I like a LOT of OCs from a lot of people!!! So I tried to list 6 of my favorites that came to mind first

I really like all of these people's OCs, but let's talk a bit about each one in particular:

Blossom in Moonlight (wuu_yuuno): She is so cute and lovely and pretty. I also love her whole character arc and the relationships she has with other characters (some of them mine)

Melancholic Fascination (azr__7): SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL AND SHE MAKES ME 😳😳😳. She also has a really cute relationship with one of my OCs, so <3 <3

Nine Quotes (cajushell): I just think her concept is really really cool! She is pretty too and I like her colors

Legacy of Famine (mewguca): SHE'S SO SILLY AND STUPID, I LOVE THIS KIND OF CHARACTER!!! I love the fortune - misfortune themes she has and the cat aesthetic, she's my beloved <3

Direct Unadorned Empathy (zenala-art): I love this OC since the first time i saw them, and later when I learned about their lore and concept I could say that I really love them. It's really cool and interesting

Paths Left Untaken (fauxbia): HI, I REALLY LIKE YOUR OC!!! Hm, I don't really interact so much with her like the others that I listed, BUT I LOVE HER CONCEPT AND LORE SO MUCHHH. And her design is absolutely pretty. I needed to put her into my fav OCs list

bUT to answer for MGM, I’ll use the DC kids:

Hunter: Honestly, any puns that make people frustrated are TOP TIER. Also, stupid wordplay that makes people angry. I once edited a picture of an eye so it was in the colors of the bi pride flag, and called it a b-eye flag, and I still have not stopped laughing.

Viola: I actually have to agree with Hunter on the puns thing, as much as I hate to admit it. Their puns are AWFUL, they can’t escape that, but some people are actually good at them and make me laugh. No, I will not elaborate on who those people are.

Hunter: I need to meet the legend who actually made you like a pun. Talk about a fucking master.

And to answer for WBW, we’re back on Ehl:

There are some historical things I’ve talked about a LOT on here, but they’re always in relation to Firebreathers and how those things impact the Ehlven rebellion, but today, I want to talk about some stuff that’s more relevant for Whispers!!

So, one of the more prominent families in Emaryan history - especially for the Atali people - has had a lot of surname changes, due to the general naming convention there being “what your ancestors are remembered for becomes your name to carry”, and this family has a legacy of one-upping themselves with pretty much every generation.

As it stands right now, the current “heirs” of the family carry the name Witmouth for their grandmother, who was supposedly so sharp with her words that she made grown men - in far more powerful political positions than her - cry at the podium in shame. She was known for just, exposing all of their corrupt shit in front of literally everyone and ruining their careers with her investigative journalism and scathing interviews. Her most notable feat was sitting down with one of the more arrogant princes of Emarye and asking him about so much seedy shit he’d done that he just up and left ‘cause he was too scared to answer anything.

But this family, over the course of the last few generations, has also held the names of Courtsbane (assassin renowned for “removing” some powerful assholes), Elderscribe (professor who translated pre-Common books so that the masses could read them), and Feastbringer (farmer who worked their ass off to help break a famine that lasted 5+ years).

The next name predicted is “Peopleshope”, because the Witmouth sisters - Irina, Lorelei, and Bronya - have done their best to bring food, shelter, and safety to as many people as possible in Myshari, to honor their sibling that went missing when they were children.

Sempiternal prompt for whichever OC fits it the best for DADWC?

I’m trying to think of an appropriate OC for this prompt, and the one I can think fits this best is my Inquisitor’s older brother, Maxwell Trevelyan, so here he is for @dadrunkwriting. Note- this will also include a little bit of Henrietta and Maxwell musing about his sister doing Maker knows what in the mountains of Ferelden, so enjoy?

Sempiternal- everlasting; eternal.

House Trevelyan was sempiternal. Through famine and fire, disease and war, they rose and they fell, but House Trevelyan always stood proud. It was there the very day the first stones of Ostwick’s walls were set along the cliff edge and, Maker willing, House Trevelyan would be there the day those stones tumbled into the hungry sea.

And the head of House Trevelyan would ensure that their house was eternal.

Maxwell frowned as he looked across the table at his daughter. She was sullenly buttering her toast, the sleeve of her dress trailing through her scrambled eggs. There was a little bit of hay stuck in her wild red curls, and her fingertips were stained with ink. She didn’t speak to him- had vowed not to speak to him, as a matter of fact, until he promised to not send her to Orlais for schooling.

It had been a silent week.

“She is a little hellion, Maxwell,” Mother declared a fortnight ago after Henrietta dismissed herself from dinner. It had been a disaster, full of Mother’s hysterical rants (”Your SISTER is CONSORTING with PEASANT STOCK!”) and Father’s uncomfortable silences. Dear Emily did her best to be a gracious hostess and steer the conversation to more pleasant topics, which only served to push Mother further into her diatribes (”Peasant Fereldens and the Black Divine himself! She’ll be running in fields with elves, next we hear!”). The entire evening was capped off with Henrietta’s usual show of temper and a spilled wine glass that ended up in Mother’s lap. Henrietta said it was an accident, but that little gleam of vicious delight told Maxwell that the spilled wine glass was a deliberate act of vengeance. And that, Maxwell thought grimly as he returned to his breakfast, would not do. It would not do at all.

House Trevelyan was sempiternal. It must not be dissolved from within by petty squabbles. Maxwell would not allow it. Inquisitor Trevelyan was a relative only in name. Henrietta didn’t know her. Maker, none of them knew her!

He did, he did, she ran through the gardens barefoot. She played with Father’s hunting dogs and gave them apple slices that were meant for her. She had a high, bright giggle and she was always smiling and getting underfoot. Her hair ribbons fell out of her hair. She liked playing knights and dragons with that Vael boy, the third son, when he came to visit with his grandfather. She always played the dragon, and jumped off walls to ‘fly.’ She liked to sit on his lap and demanded he read her stories, and her hair was like down feathers against his chin as he read-.

Maxwell finished his tea, stood from the table, and tucked his seat in behind him.

“Good morning, Henrietta,” he said politely. He was greeted with sulky silence, which was what he expected. Henrietta was a Trevelyan, through and through, and they were all a stubborn lot. Maxwell left the table and returned to his study so he may look over the latest reports on the family business and holdings. But even when he tried to concentrate on what was important- House Trevelyan and its legacy, thoughts of the girl who scattered ribbons behind her like a breadcrumb trail and demanded bedtime stories were never far from his mind. What was she like now, his sister? He couldn’t find a trace of the child he knew in the reports of the serious young woman who had somehow been made the head of the Inquisition. There were no hair ribbons, no giggles, no dragons or bedtime stories, only rumors. Black Divine, peasant lovers, spies, blood magic rituals, the stories were as numerous as grains of sand on the beach.

It should have alarmed him. She used the Trevelyan name, wielded their influence and power. He should put a stop to it, because it was a threat and he was the next head of House Trevelyan. Maker knew he did most of the work, nowadays. The task should fall to him. And yet... Maxwell sighed before pulling a piece of parchment out from his desk drawer. He read over words that he spent hours agonizing over and wondered if he could ever put his thoughts to paper.

This is ask #30, wowie!! I've made a couple (3) Activation Logs I'll be posting in the next few days!! There was a comic I was working on, too, but idk when that'll be done, sorry...

I don't have Activation logs for all of them on the Askblog because I feel the first three explore what I want to share right now well enough. Hopefully you guys like LOF, PU, and SLS

In the meantime, I've also updated ToyHouse bios slightly, mostly surrounding relationships.

Also, I plan to open a Discord Server focused on my OC AU very soon!! It'll be 16+, though, due to subject matter. That being said, here is another reminder to check the content warnings!! The more lorestuff I post, the more I'll be getting into sensitive and upsetting subject matter...
