Ta książka to typowa jednodniówka. Zaczęłam czytać środowym popołudniem, skończyłam tego samego dnia koło północy i... jak zwykle miałam wielką ochotę przeczytać ją ponownie, by jeszcze przez chwile obcować z bohaterami i sycić się tym, że ktoś, komu kibicuję – zwycięża i wszystko poszło po jego (mojej) mysli 🤭 Ale z każdym tomem serii o Jacku Reacherze tak mam. Głupie strasznie, a świetnie się czyta. Nie wiem, jak #leechild to robi. #jackreacher to były wojskowy, najbardziej stereotypowy Amerykanin z gatunku samotnych mścicieli. Trochę superbohater, chociaż nie ma czarodziejskich mocy, a tylko spostrzegawczość i umiejętność robienia porządnego mordobicia. Bezdomny z wyboru, ma jakieś źródła dochodów typu wojskowa emerytura, stać go na wynajęcie pokoju w motelu, ale w żadnym nie zatrzymuje się dłużej niż przez jedną noc, jeździ po kraju, gdzie oczy poniosą i gdy widzi coś podejrzanego, podąża tym tropem, wybawiając ludzi z opresji. Taki dobry wróżek, który potrafi spuszczać "tym złym" porządny i spektakularny łomot. Seria jest nierówna i schematyczna, ale odpoczywam przy tych książkach.😲 Bo w większości tomów moje jaszczurcze poczucie sprawiedliwości (określenie "jaszczurcza część mózgu" to też Reacher) zostaje zaspokojone, choć bywają i tomy bardzo źle napisane. Drażni mnie zwłaszcza, że dla autora ludzie to wyłącznie Amerykanie i Anglicy. Cała reszta to nie-ludzie i można ich potraktować jak karaluchy, a w razie potrzeby - zlikwidować. Ale.... w trakcie czytania kupuje się całą opowieść z dobrodziejstwem inwentarza, bo jednak Child umie opowiadać!😂 (Pomijając kilka tomów, które chyba pisał mu ktoś inny, bo wyszły beznadziejnie) W każdym razie prosta sprawiedliwość zawsze zwycięża, uciśnieni zostają ocaleni, a złych się sprząta. Definitywnie i na zawsze😁 W tomie 24 (niestety ostatnim) Reacher staje przeciwko dwóm mafiom (ukraińskiej i albańskiej) w obronie dwojga staruszków. Oczywiście dzięki swej przemyślności, jak i szczęściu, które sprzyja mu zgodnie z zasadą "audaces Fortuna iuvat", likwiduje obie i jeszcze Rosjanom przy okazji dowala🤭 Jest więc happy end, choć IMHO staruszkowie dopiero teraz będą mieli kłopoty, bo co na to wszystko urząd skarbowy?🤭 https://www.instagram.com/p/CZSXq1zo9mN/?utm_medium=tumblr
