All Night Long | Lee Jeno

Summary: You’re pregnant, and the baby’s kicking makes it impossible to sleep. Luckily, Jeno knows just how to take care of you.

You stroked your baby bump.

“Let me sleep,” you whispered. But it was no use. Your baby was beating you up from the inside.

You looked over at your husband, Jeno, who was fast asleep. His cheek was squished into the pillow, and his soft brown hair stuck up in all directions. Even like this, he was beautiful. You watched his bare, muscled chest rise and fall in time with his soft breaths.

You burned with jealousy at how soundly he slept, while you had been tossing and turning for hours.

You cleared your throat way too loudly.

Jeno jolted awake.

He sat bolt upright, eyes still puffy.

“Is everything okay? Is it the baby?” Jeno asked, voice rough.

His hands found your bump instinctively, and he started tracing circles on your skin. Ever since he found out you were pregnant, Jeno hadn’t been able to keep his hands off you.

“Can’t sleep,” you pouted. “It’s the baby. He keeps kicking me in the ribs.”

You’d taken to wearing Jeno’s shirts in bed – they were the only thing that fit. His hand slipped under the white cotton, stroking your bare skin.

He gasped softly when he felt a sharp kick. 

“It’s been like this all night.”

Jeno shuffled so that he was lying in between your legs. He lifted your shirt, exposing your entire tummy.

“Let me talk to him,” Jeno said. “Man to man.”

You giggled when Jeno pressed his lips to your tummy and started to whisper.

Soon, it was becoming too ticklish to bear. Jeno held you in place, his large hands on your hips. He was holding you firmly but gently, just like always.

“Time to sleep, little one. Now, I know your mama is hot shit, but you’ve got to let her rest too, okay?” Jeno whispered into your bump.

“Hey!” you whispered. “You can’t say… the s-word in front of him.”

Jeno chuckled. “Sorry buddy. We’re don’t want you to end up a potty mouth like your mother.”

You whacked a pillow on Jeno’s head, which only made his smile grow.

His calming voice seemed to be doing the trick, as the kicking subsided. Your eyelids started to feel heavy, the weight of the day finally catching up with you.

Jeno shuffled up the bed till he was lying beside you. He pulled the duvet over you both and nuzzled his head into your neck.

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw him smirk.

“I’m the only one that gets to keep mama up all night.”

There is a lot to being an idol. From having some sort of talent, just simply being a pretty face to look at to strict diets and contracts, hectic overloaded schedules, and toxic groups and companies, but there is something that is expected of you is an idol. Can you guess what it is...

Being the only one for your fans, a parasocial relationship if you will. You are supposed to stay pure and innocent for your fans, no sex, no relationship, no children, no drinking or smoking, no potty mouth. You are supposed to keep your fans as happy as possible, whether it makes you uncomfortable or not. Just do it with a smile, they say. Well, so much for not "breaking" the "idol rules."

You may have screwed up a few months into your solo career as an idol. Your relationship with your choreographer, Bada Lee, was exposed by fucking sasaengs and then was quickly picked up by Dispatch, fucking snitch. There was some hate with comments on your social media like,

"Unnie, you are not ashamed for abandoning us like this?"

"Well... there goes her career."

"Noona, a woman, seriously?!?!? Maybe you should get a real MAN?!?!"

"Wow, so we fuck our choreographers now."

But despite the hate, you and Bada decided to go public with your relationship, which gained quite a bit of support with comments from both your fanbases,

"Come on, guys, just admit it. They are cute as fuck."

You both were happy. Your careers were skyrocketing, and you two still had somewhat of a supportive fanbase together and solo. Your company were somewhat supportive but still made you apologize to fans to regain their trust again.

"So what you are telling me is that I have to apologize for falling in love?" You scoffed as you sat across from your manager and a couple of members of your staff. "Are you hearing yourself right now?"

"Well, ma'am, you signed a contract that states everything regarding the dating ban as well as the consequences that may follow if broken." Your manager said, pushing the contract towards you as well as pen and paper to follow. "It's there in black and white, ma'am."

"So what's next? Are you gonna make me apologize for getting married and starting a family, too? You said as you began to write your heartfelt apology to your fans.

"Well, let's just hope that doesn't happen, right?" Your manager said as he leaned back in his seat with a smirk on his face. "You are our money maker, sweetheart, so we kind of need you. Tell your bitch to wrap that shit up, okay?"

"Yeah, whatever." You scoffed as you pushed the pan and paper back towards him, standing from your seat as you made your way to the door. "Also, if I were you, I'd watch what the fuck I say since ya know, I am your money maker."

"So what do we do with it?"

"Bada, you don't have to do anything. I have to handle this."

"It should be fairly easy, right?"

Bada was quite confused about the whole situation. It's like, at one moment, you were perfectly fine and then you end up sick at the simple scent or taste of a food. At first you both thought it was your menstrual cycle until you realized you were a whole two weeks late. It can't be, right? There's no way... Is there?

"Okay, I'll just read the instructions and just go for it. What's the worst that could happen?" You grabbed the bag of pregnancy test and made your way to the bathroom with Bada hot on your heels. "Baby, just let me take the test, okay? Alone, please?"

"Yeah, of course. If you need me, just call." Bada said, kissing your forehead before backing up allowing you to walk into the bathroom. "I'll be right here, okay?"

You nodded as you closed the door behind you. Nerves began to rush over your body as you pulled the test from the bag and began to read the instructions.

"Okay, step one, remove the plastic cap and use immediately. Step two, hold the absorbent tip in urine stream for five seconds. Step three, replace cap and lay test flat. Step four, wait 1 to 3 minutes for results." You read, taking deep breath after the mouth full. "Alright, seems simple."

After five tests, constant hand washing and the struggle of just trying to pee on the stick, you were finally done and now is the even more nerve-wracking part, waiting for the results. The three minutes seemed like hours, but it was time, and to be honest, you were scared shit less. If these tests come out positive, what will this mean for both of your careers?

"Bada..." You called out for your girlfriend on the other side of the door. "Come in here now."

"What does it say? Baby, why are you crying?" Bada said as she rushed into the bathroom to see you sitting on the floor with a test in your hands as tears stream down your cheeks.

Bada looked over to the other tests on the counter. Her hands flew over her mouth as she let out gasp. "Positive... it's positive."

Bada sat next to you, wrapping her arms around your body as you sob into her shirt, still gripping to test in your hand. You are pregnant, and there's no going back now. It's not that you don't want children, you do, but not this early and not like this. You wanted to getting married and be settled, no more idol life just you, Bada and your baby living somewhere discreet and outside the public eye.

"What are we gonna do, Bada? What about my career? What about your career? The fans? The company?" You began to play out everything in your head of what would happen if the public found out. All the backlash and more negative comments. "I'm scared, Bada."

"Hey, it's you and I, okay? Don't worry about all of that. If this was not meant to be, then it would have never happened." Bada lifted your head as she wiped your falling tears, gently caressing your cheeks. "It's okay to be scared, baby. This is new for both of us. We're gonna take it one step at a time. Together."

You smiled weakly as you leaned into her touch, nodding in agreeance. "I love you."

"I love you too." Bada said, pulling you into a kiss. "We got this."

Soul’s Desire [Ch. 23]

The plane ride was so quick you barely got any sleep, but you still felt well-rested as you and the girls got off the plane and were rushed to the cars.

You made sure Han knew you were on your way before putting your phone up and deciding on staring out the window for the 15-minute car ride.

You didn’t bother texting your mom back. You felt both guilty and relieved. You don’t know what made you finally decide to get some help, but you’re glad your patience wore thin. In your heart, you understood that going at least low contact with her would be the best decision to make.

Before you knew it, you were at the hotel and being rushed in. You knew you and your soulmates wouldn’t be on the same floor, but you weren’t new to sneaking around to see them at this point.

Almost three months after you got your mark, you were beyond comfortable with the members. After your rough debut week, you guys started to talk every day and if you couldn’t see each other in person, FaceTime was your go-to. You still needed more time to get to know them on a deeper level, but you truly felt a love towards them.

While thinking about your soulmates who you were going to see in just a couple of minutes, a goofy smile latched onto your face. None of your members commented on it, as they had a feeling they knew why you were so giddy.

You weren’t particularly ashamed of your excitement, that is until you came across a face you met not too long ago.

“Hello y/n” Eunji greeted once you and your members stepped off the elevator

You bowed, “Hi Eunji”

Just as you were about to walk away, she stopped you, making your members stop in their tracks as well

“Are you guys staying on this floor?”

“Yes” You answer

“Oh, that’s fun! I’m not, but one of my friends is up here though. I’m on a lower floor, the one where Stray Kids are”

You nod at her words, “Oh okay”

“Yeah, I'm actually about to go out with a few of them. Haven’t seen them in a while”

You knew she was lying because YOU were about to meet up with all of them. So, you only nod again and wish her a fun time.

You walk off, your members hot on your tails as you guys navigate your rooms.

“That’s the girl that interrupted you, Chan, and Lee Know a few days ago?” Dae questions

“Yep” You laugh, “You can tell she doesn’t fuck with me”

“You think she knows you guys are fated?” Yumi asks. You shake your head firmly

“Nah, I’m sure she doesn’t know. I remember Minho telling her we were good friends, she’s probably trying to get close to the guys so she can get with Chan.”

“She needs to give up” Penny shrugs, “You got all of them locked down”

“I’m not worried about her”

You guys find your rooms and sit your stuff down, then, you five meet back up at the elevator to go down to Skz’s floor.

You were hoping to see Eunji as you walked the halls and greeted staff and other idols, and luckily you did see her.

She was at Chan’s door, talking his ear off as he stood and listened to her with a bored expression. Felix stood near him, and you assumed the rest of the members were further inside the room.

“Oh, hi girls” Felix waves frantically as you and your members speed up to the hotel room. Eunji looks away from Chan and rolls her eyes.

“Hi guys” you grin, “Are we early?”

Chan shakes his head, “Nope, right on time. We’re about to leave for the restaurant”

“Good. I’m so fucking hungry” Penny sighs, making the two Australians laugh

“Oh wow, you sound like a sailor” Eunji mumbles loud enough for everyone to hear.

A sailor? Are you guys not all fucking adults?

“You don’t curse?” You ask, straight-faced

“I do,” Felix says swiftly, “I have a terrible potty mouth”

“Me too” Chan laughs, “Every other word I say is a swear word”

Eunji turns back to Chan and smiles big…and creepy.

“I'm really bad with swearing too!”

“So we’re both sailors!” Penny points out, a glint of pettiness in her voice

A beat of tense silence passes before Hyunjin’s loud laughter can be heard from inside the room.

You instinctively chuckle as well, “I wonder what Hyunnie’s laughing at”

“Probably something Changbin said,” Says Felix

“Can we go eat now guys? I was serious about being really fucking hungry”

Chan nods and goes to retrieve the other members while Felix pulls you into a tight hug

“I haven’t seen you in forever,” He says. You knew it was really risky for you both to be interacting like that with staff around, but you missed him.

You missed all the boys, and it felt good to know they missed you too.

“Felix we hadn’t seen each other in a while either,” Eunji said, “Can I have a hug too?”

Luckily Felix doesn’t have to answer because a hyperactive Han runs out of the room and practically jumps on you

“Y/NNIE” He yells, giving you a tight squeeze before getting off and greeting your members

Hyunjin walks out just as hyper, bowing at Eunji and bear-hugging you.

You repeat that cycle four more times, each member's hug getting tighter than the last.

Eunji was red-faced by the time Chan came back out and properly greeted you.

“Ready guys?” You ask. Everyone nods and bids Eunji farewell as you all walk to the elevator

“I really don’t like that girl” Hana whispers to you once you guys are far enough away, “What the fuck is her problem?”

“Like I said earlier, she wants to bump privates with Chan, and she wants to be besties with the rest of the guys. Too bad that’s not fucking happening”

“You’re cute when you’re jealous,” Seungmin says from behind you, scaring the shit out of you.

“You being nosey?”

“You being territorial?”

You roll your eyes, “Hush”

more scattered thoughts about the jazz era atla AU:

I think Yue should get to learn how to make bombs. as a treat. yes she is working together with two forces of destruction (zuko and toph) but never underestimate the power of a good bomb.

zuko and toph did not ask this of her. she just learned it all on her own.

lee from the tea shop of course, is sporting the classic Tea Shop Era Zuko haircut. he keeps it super short because he's a lot less recognizable this way.

in spite of actively trying not to be recognizable, zuko actually does not fully grasp how unrecognizable he is to people who knew him prior to his life as lee. azula looks at the wanted posters of 'lee' and only gets the faintest feeling of recognition.

ozai and azula know that zuko was injured in the attempted coup, but they don't know how specifically he was injured.

speaking of injures- iroh has burn scars on his back.

zuko's spent a lot of the past four years ignoring he own needs and wants. the attempt on his life by his own family really fucked him up, but he also has a deep sense of survivor's guilt since lu ten died protecting him. before he met toph, he basically never even made time for himself- he was always either helping his uncle or doing blue spirit stuff.

(iroh senses this. he saves up and buys his nephew a radio, because he knows how much he enjoys radio dramas.)

meeting toph changed that a little. toph coaxed him into making the blue spirit much more theatrical- the showier he is, she says, the more eyes will actually be on the fire nation and the more questions might end up raised. really she just thinks he's in desperate need of a way to blow off some steam. and what better way than violence?

(the tattoos are the first thing zuko really did for himself after the coup. he's not stupid. he knows how risky they are. but getting them with toph was actually fun.)

to team avatar, toph is a refined young lady who only occasionally has a bit of a potty mouth. they know she's an earthbender, but she hides just how good she is from them.

sokka actually starts to suspect something is amiss with the fire nation even before they learn the truth from zuko. it just feels like there's a few things that aren't adding up, but he doesn't have enough clues to actually start to piece things together.

despite the blue spirit's reputation as notorious terrorists, zuko tries to actually keep any casualties to a minimum... which does not mean he and toph never kill anyone. they're 100% killing people. they just try and keep it targeted.

this is something they'll never be able to see eye to eye with aang on- although he does understand why they feel they have to go that far- especially in zuko's case.

team avatar can't exactly openly work with zuko after the truth comes out- he's a wanted man. but they do start to quietly coordinate with him. aang wants to just expose ozai right away, but it is unfortunately not that simple. there's no real proof other than zuko's word. even if they expose one of the factories, ozai can simply claim that it's the fault of a rouge general- much like zhao's actions at the north pole.

if iroh got his memories back, though...

(they are starting to suspect that zuko doesn't want iroh to get his memories back. he's so afraid that lu ten's death will destroy him. lu ten, who again- died protecting zuko.)

ozai will eventually quietly hire combustion man to kill the blue spirits- and if he can take out the avatar at the same time, well. that's just a bonus. :)

dale is literally the king of dominance!! i think casual dominance with dale would be both controlling and caring.

▽ whenever you guys are out and it’s crowded, dale’s always got a hold of you by the wrist— he’s always leading you. he doesn’t want you getting lost. and when you’re shopping for groceries, he wants you next to the cart. when it comes to buying stuff, sometimes he limits the amount of items you put in the cart. “no more. i said three things, not the whole damn store”, other times he’s asking what else you want cause he loves spoiling you

▽ dale’s always plating your food and pouring your drinks— he loves cutting your food up for you, especially if it’s steak. if you ask for a snack or drink, he’s opening it for you. he doesn’t limit what you eat, but he doesn’t like when you eat proceeded junk or anything high in sugar.

▽ dale picks your outfits out with you! he doesn’t control what you wear, more so gives fashion advice. but if you’re dressed a little too provocative… “where are you going dressed like that?” he waits outside dressing rooms and gives his opinions on the options, if something is too tight or fits awkwardly. dale also makes sure your dressed appropriately for the season— “jacket, baby” or “it’s gonna be hot, so i suggest a tank top”.

▽ when you give dale attitude… oof. brace yourself! he’ll look at you stunned and scoffs at how bold you are. “pardon me?” he’ll grab your chin gently and stare at you from under his brows. “now you know daley doesn’t appreciate that kind of behavior. fix it.” cussing too much in front of him is also a no-no. he confronts you all the time when it comes to your potty mouth. “language, my little angel. that’s not very kind of you.”

▽ if you get pissy with him, he’s grabbing you by the waist and pulling you back. “aht aht, where are you going?” and if you do walk off and he’s unable to grab you, “get the fuck back here.” he’ll pull you close to him and grip your wrist, swatting your ass gently. “what’s your problem, huh?” and you’ll both talk it out. he can’t stand brushing things under the rug.

▽ this goes with the first one, but at gigs he’s always leading you. there’s too many creeps. he loves when you guys are out with friends and you sit on his lap, his hand squeezing your thigh, or when you depend on him cause you’re anxious. he’ll take you to the bathroom and wait, or he’ll order your food for you.

▽ we all have had drama with someone i’m sure, but with dale around you can’t even get a word in because he’s cussing whomever it is out. he doesn’t care who it is. anyone disrespecting you in front of him, immediately dead meat. especially if you’re both out and you get cat called— his pocket knife’s already in his hand.

▽ other random things— sewing/hemming your clothes, patting your ass as you walk past him, crouching down tie your shoes, fixing your hair if it looks crazy as you both chit chat. you’re both sitting on the couch and he’ll pull your legs on top of his. when he’s driving, one hand is on the wheel and the other’s on your thigh. if you both are out in public and you do something he doesn’t like, he’ll give you that look and shake his head ‘no’, cause you know better. also if you take medication or vitamins, he’s making sure you take them! he even checks under your tongue. “lift, let me see… good job, babydoll.” and he’ll have your pills waiting for you next to your breakfast btw!! dale makes sure you’re taking care of yourself— eating, drinking, bathing, dental stuff, etc.

hmm i debated this one but wooyoung only cares about himself. often has such a potty mouth that no one stops him from saying some really hurtful unfunny things again bit like lee know there seems to be more about feeding his ego than helping anyone else out if he ever get in a relationship id be surprised that it last longer than a month prox. again more red flagged than the leader. but hes another heavily worshipped member that i just dont vibe with i think hes too rude at times to his members or even others without realising and he hides behind this demeanor trying to be funny but its rude asf. yet people think hes so wonderful yes at performing but personally not my type of partner.

i think my problem is i can see through an idols idol image but people will really overworship their faves and claim this and that about them to defend their feelings because they dont ever want to see their faves in a bad light yet i think many of them are often worse than they deem themselves to be.

i also feel like they can easily manipulate their fans into having stockholm syndrome like their fans will just be ohhh he is so dateable and theres nothing wrong he could do but they never consider the fact these idols really really know how to perform to make people idolise them in such ways. especially given how young most stays seem to be in their teen years and again i like their performances but thats it for me. i aint being deluded no more yet if we try to ever comment anything undeluded we get shitted on for it.

what do you think about this? its ridiculous the lengths people will go to to absolutely claim their faves can do no wrong when its obvious in their on camera behaviour. i almost feel too old to be caring about this stuff but i see it more and more how whacked out it is, bangchan and stays relationship is like a toxic ex that never lets go of the relationship so what do some idols really expect people to be like towards them? they practically encourage unhealthy behaviours from the get go. "hey chan pin me up the wall" chans response "say please?" just yikes big effing no.

With the Chan “say please?” thing I think that’s mostly fanservice. And also like…How else do you respond to that in his situation? He can’t overtly turn the fan down if he wanted to. This is a job. It never necessarily rubbed me the wrong way. Don’t get me wrong I’m not all into it going Gaga or whatever, but he’s an idol. His JOB is to appeal to the masses and feed into the delusion because that’s what pays and feeds him.

Honestly with Chan he’s always been very interesting to me. He reminds me of a teen parent a lot. In the sense of he never had quite got the chance to grow up but also had to grow up too fast at the same time. So you have that balance of being overly immature and overly mature. I wouldn’t call him a manchild though, he never gave me those vibes.

Honestly he seems more responsible than what people give him credit for. I feel like with Chan he’s just more mature in general than he’s given credit for, even with how he interacts with his group and certain situations.

But I think the disconnect is how deeply delusional he can be overtly. Which honestly I can understand. He’s a prime example of what happens when essentially your entire life from 13 to 27 is devoted on one thing. You start to worship it, almost. Put it on a platter and view it as the best thing ever. Do whatever you can to appeal to it. Become obsessed with it.

It’s part of what I hate about how young trainees are. You’re told your entire life that your fans are all that matters. You can’t date because you’d be betraying your fans. Have to be perfect so your fans love you and you want their love. Have to act both ‘sexy’ and ‘cute’ so that your fans will adore you, but lean into one too heavily and you’ll be too much. And most of all his life is dictated by them.

I feel like imo the Stockholm syndrome title if applicable to anyone in the situation goes to the idols.

Now, I can see the immaturity in him. I’m not saying it’s not there. But I wouldn’t call him a man child.

Like even looking at how he handled the situation of not being able to debut. He was a trainee for 7/8 years and never debuted. Of course an argument can be made of his immaturity because of that. But it takes a very very mature person to be able to sit there and say “I’ll debut when it’s my time to debut” and push through that. Or at least a very strong person.

This may just be my personal opinion.

And to say he has no boundaries with stay I feel is both accurate and innacurate. He has boundaries when it comes to certain things. Stay is often the one lacking boundaries. And if you spend 7 years with people pushing and pushing and disrespecting your boundaries and viewing you as an object you’ll start to believe there aren’t any boundaries there.

Does he say some cringeworthy stuff because of it? Yes. But the behavior in and of itself is entirely understandable.

With Lee Know and Seungmin I wouldn’t say they mistreat members. You can tell they care about the other members. But I can agree they can go to far in the things they say. Now, I’m not going to claim I’ve seen everything SKZ has ever done. Namely those two. But from what I’ve seen mistreatment is an over exaggeration of the highest order.

You’re acting as if Lee Know is a selfish person who doesn’t like someone who can’t do all kinds of stuff for people which isn’t something he’s necessarily shown? I can agree that sometimes he takes what he may believe as light hearted teasing or playful words too far. I’m not saying he doesn’t. But you can tell he never necessarily means for it to be purposeful.

And Stray Kids themselves have even stated he’s less like that with Felix because Felix can’t handle it. Which, using media literacy, means that if someone voices they don’t like it or he can tell they can’t take it he won’t do it. And Lee Know also added I.N to that and said he doesn’t fool around with him as much.

I’ve had friends who are similar. I even have family who are very similar. When you’re used to people showing their affection by…I don’t want to say making fun of you but making fun of you and saying certain things, you start doing that.

I’m not saying that’s his case. I don’t know him. But it’s an example.

And you can tell he’s caring. You can tell he cares about his members. You can even tell from the Muslim kid he’s been sponsoring.

Now, he has very apparent red flags I’ve seen. Like I said, he takes things too far sometimes. And honestly I don’t know what you mean by grow up. You can tell he cares about things but generally he doesn’t let things get to him because he’s mature. I know this statement is…Annoying, but some times things simply are not that deep. Plain and simple. He can understand it.

If there’s certain times he’s taken that too far I don’t know. I haven’t seen all of SKZ’s content.

With Seungmin, I haven’t watched a lot of stuff about him. I’ve only seen things he’s said to Bangchan about being old, and I can’t remember Chan’s reaction so I really can’t tell if he took offense to it/was hurt by it or not. Depending on Chan’s reaction it’s an entirely different…Comment? Dunno if that makes sense but I can’t find any other way to word it.

With Hongjoong I can admit I don’t consume a lot of Ateez content outside of their music and some interviews/moments I see on my feed. Mostly because I’m a more casual enjoyer of them than anything. But I’ve never seen him act like a man child? Ever?

If you have clips that give you those vibes let me know but I haven’t seen them.

Wooyoung I can see where you get certain things from. IMO, a lot of those things just read as he’s too…I guess confident. Bold. Unapologetically all up in your face saying whatever. People like that can sometimes be rude because they don’t take the time to think before they say or do things. They just do.

Though I don’t see the selfish aspect. You can tell he loves and cares for his members and even his friends outside of Ateez like Changbin/Felix for example since we’re on the topic of SKZ.

Maybe this is a difference of perspectives or content consumed. I don’t know. I hope you don’t feel like I’m trying to like…Disprove you or discredit your opinion because I’m not. I’m more giving my two cents on what’s said.

But yeah, people need to stop pretending their faves do no wrong. Because they do MUCH wrong. They have their ‘WTF’ moments and their cringe moments because they’re human.

But it also might be because I’m the type of person who tries to think of the reasoning of an act rather than the act itself. Though the act always weighs in. And I’m also much less…Emotional? Generally? I attach less to it even if I can understand other’s emotions.

"Appa?"

"Yes! Guess what I learned about him." Jennette tossed the wipe into the trashcan, sliding up the fresh diaper up Peanut's legs. She babbled a response squirming slightly from the cold air. Tilting her up, her polka-dot leggings rose with no issue.

"His English name is Justin. Isn't that a funny name?" Wiggling her nose against Peanut's, causing her to laugh. Her two baby teeth peeked out of her gums. As quickly as Peanut was growing up, she was starting to resemble a lot like her mother. Those first few months of baldness were over and she had a decent amount of hair. If Jennette used a small rubber band, she could do pigtails.

"Why would he want to name himself Justin. Your appa is so silly." She carried Peanut in her arms and walked out of the woman's bathroom. "Let's prank him, okay?"

Not really sure what her mother was stating, Peanut clapped.

"Appa. Appa."

They returned to the table of three where Jungkook was sitting. Peanut slid perfectly into the restaurant's booster. It had been a while since the family of three had been out in public together. With Jungkook's commitments and Jennette's new managerial role their time together was limited.

But with the members pursuing solo endeavors now, it was the most free time Jungkook has had in a really long time. He was spending every moment possible with his family.

"Peanut cheese!" Jungkook pulled out his phone, taking pictures. Ever since he became a father, he's found no reason to take a picture of Peanut. Her first time at a restaurant, he took a picture. First time touching the grass, he took a picture. First time using the potty, you guessed it. He took a picture.

Like a subject of classical conditioning, Peanut started cheesing. Her cheeks were open, her eyes closed, and drool slipped down her mouth. Jennette jokes that if Peanut were to model, she wouldn't be camera shy.

"Justin, can you pass me that napkin?"

Watching the clear liquid string down onto Peanut's shirt, Jungkook moved with haste. Not even registering the name Jennette just called him.

"What did you say?

Before Jennette could respond, the waiter brought the food out.

The steam coming from his plate enticed him. Jennette was treating him to breakfast at a black-owned restaurant. He decided to be spontaneous and try shrimp and grits. Looking at his dish, he could tell his shrimp was well seasoned. The grits were thick and cheesy.

Taking a spoonful, he had to bite his tongue from releasing a satisfied moan. The grits were hotter than he anticipated, but they were too good for him to spit out. So he tried to cool it off with his mouth.

Nodding his head he quoted the saying of food reviewer Keith Lee.

"For sho, you right on." He fed himself another spoonful. "I don't know why you kept me from this place for so long. It's so good."

Jennette smiled, seeing Jungkook enjoy his food.

"Well this can become our little spot."

"Absolutely."

"Justin." Peanut grabbed onto Jungkook's shoulder. She wanted to get his attention and try some of his bowl's food.

"Who's Justin, baby?"

"You're Justin, Justin."

"What?" Jungkook was addled. Slowly scooping up a Peanut appropriate amount of grits. Who the fuck was Justin? This man who apparently has been around his girl and baby. Jungkook looked to Jennette for a clue, but her face was neutral.

"Tell appa who Justin is baby."

"Pleaseeee." She leaned her body, trying to get closer to the spoon of grits in Jungkook's hand.

Not denying his baby girl the grits any longer, he fed her. Watching the good food hit her belly. She smiled, then opened her mouth again.

"Justin look at this funny meme." Jennette laughed while showing her phone. It was a funny new parent post of Instagram that Jennette had been following since she learned she was pregnant.

Taking her phone, Jungkook tucked her phone under his thigh. "Who the hell is Justin? Cause it's not me, and you got my Peanut repeating after you."

"Just a guy I know."

"Who is he." Jungkook's tone was becoming more assertive. He was tired of repeating of himself. And the longer he was going without knowing 'Justin's identity the more he feared ruining this nice family breakfast.

"Jennette, please, my patience is thinning out."

Taking him at his word, Jennette answered his question.

"I found an old video of you saying that you wanted to go by Justin. I shared that with Peanut in the bathroom. It was just a prank, there's no Justin."

Jungkook's face immediately softened. He playfully rolled his eyes. Knowing exactly what interview you were referring to.

"Oh gosh, you watched that clip." He physically cringed. Peanut whined still wanting some grits. Jungkook pulled her onto his lap. Feeding the remaining of his grits to his baby girl.

"I'd hate to be Justin right now." Jennette laughed.

"Whatever." Jungkook kissed Peanut's cheek. Enjoying the rest of the breakfast hour with his little family.

A couple! I tend to stick with the canon depictions of characters, so most of these are supported by canon in one way or another.

— About Lee Jihye/Athy in Korea: She practiced volleyball in high school (no reason why, I just like it), she likes to drink when her wallet allows it (my girl deserves to unwind after work), she is a nerd/weeb (@lithi reminded me of the anime references she made in the novel, i.e. wondering if she was like an anime waifu/figure to the royal wizards lmao, so it's kinda canon). Oh, and she had a potty mouth!

— Athy talks in korean when she is alone. It bothers Lucas that he can't understand her because he feels left out. Athy teaches him eventually, but only curse words.

— Lucas is touch-starved (he slept for at least a couple of centuries, and I can't imagine him being very touchy with his teacher when he was alive), so he loves when Athy initiates any kind of physical contact, no matter how small, though he is too prideful to ever admit it. He loves headpats the most (kinda canon).

— Athy borrows (steals) Lucas' wizard cloak.

— Athy figures out she can basically get Lucas to do anything with a kiss as a reward, she uses this knowledge for evil. Lucas ends up developing a pavlovian reaction to Athy asking for favors and gets upset when she doesn't ask anything of him for a couple of days.

— You know how when you mention liking X thing to your grandparent/dad, they'll gift you TONS of said thing for years? Lucas is the exact same with Athy (canon as well).

One morning, Athy wakes up to the sight of her room filled with crates and crates of strawberry jam.

Athy: What the fuck...

Lucas (smug): This dating thing is so easy.

— Lucas consults Athy's romance books for dating advice (canonized by Spoon). It leads to cringe yet hilarious results (also canonized by Spoon).

— By passing around memory stones with recordings of Athy at the debutante when she was missing, Claude inadvertently created the first fancam in history. Athy is everyone's idol (canon).

— Lucas was never afraid of Claude disapproving of him courting Athy. The person he truly feared was Lily. As he should.

— Lily and Seth give Lucas the shovel talk. Hannah chuckles nervously in the background because she knows they mean every word (Lily went against Claude multiple times without fear, Seth wanted to smash a vase against his head, of course they would give Lucas hell).

— Lucas acts as if he doesn't know how to knot a tie so Athy does it for him in the mornings. Strangely, he has started to wear ties a lot lately.

— Nox kicks Lucas out of the bed.

aside from Anne, Sebastian, and MC, he isn't comfortable with anyone else touching him because he doesn't trust anyone, so those are the only three people who dare try it

his family only ever touched him to inflict pain, so the first time Anne did it he had no idea what was happening or why it was making him laugh and he freaked out at first

his sense of touch is heightened, so he's ridiculously sensitive to light touches

he'll only really tolerate it in private because he uncontrollably giggles like a little kid and he feels embarrassed when he hears himself laugh like that

he won't actively fight them off unless he gets overstimulated, because he's so touch-starved and he knows this kind of interaction is done out of love

not gonna lie, sometimes he lowkey craves it and will instigate to provoke it... he'd never admit it though

his defense is to curl up in a little ball because since he can't see, he doesn't want to risk clocking somebody in the face... he may have accidentally on purpose punched Sebastian in the ribs once or twice though

if he's tickled long enough his giggling will get broken up by snorts and it's the cutest shit you've ever heard in your entire life

his worst spots are his sides and light touches on his neck; if you barely touch his neck, he will immediately jam his shoulders up into his ears and squeak

he will be unintentionally violent and flail, so if you're brave enough to attack him you'd better know how to dodge and weave or you're gonna get chickenwinged in the nose

he'll try to fight it and repeatedly say he's not ticklish... even in the middle of frantic giggles and high pitched squeals

he's also overdramatic and will tell you that he's dying and can't breathe and sees a bright light etc.

being tortured like that makes him have a potty mouth that would cause a nun to faint

he'd rather die than tap out, so if you don't stop on your own, he will let it get to a point where his laugh goes silent and you just see him shaking and slapping at your hands like a fish flopping out of water

when you finally stop he will lay there for a good five minutes still giggling and twitching because all of his nerves can still feel it

As a Ler:

Ominis

with his heightened senses of touch and hearing he'll be able to figure out your worst spots quickly based on how your body tenses and how your laughs and squeaks sound

he'll jump from spot to spot just to hear how your laugh changes and it's like music to him

he's meticulous but playful, and he has pianist hands so his agile fingers will dance over your spots and make you crazy

he wouldn't tell anyone, but he's kind of obsessed with affectionate touching (handholding, hugs, cuddling, etc.), so it only makes sense that he loves being able to do this to people he cares about

he will be stone-faced and emotionless like a Vulcan aside from an occasional smirk when he finds a weak spot

his verbal teases are more matter-of-fact than making fun (ex: "My goodness, that sounds like a sensitive spot. I'll need to remember that one for the future.")

if he hears you getting hoarse or running out of breath, he'll stop and ask if you're alright or if he went too hard on you

aftercare is important - he'll let you rest against him, he might rub his palm over the spots he attacked so your nerves calm down

he's gentle with Anne and MC... but Sebastian always does something to deserve it and Ominis frequently makes him beg for mercy

it's not uncommon to find Sebastian facedown on the floor in the Undercroft with Ominis straddled on his back torturing him and demanding for him to yield; Sebastian is the only person he will be that ruthless with

he's a ruthless ler, especially if it's retaliation

he'll resort to it if he's trying to get you to do something for him or divulge a secret and you're being stubborn

once he finds your worst spot, he'll exploit it every time

he'll sneak up behind you and give your sides a quick squeeze to spook you

he's not above doing it if you're in a sour mood and it'll make you smile, but only as a last effort if nothing else worked

verbal teases... this boy will playfully tease you about your laugh, your sensitivity, how cute he finds it when you try and fail to break out of his hold, how flustered you're getting, anything

if you're dating him, it's a part of flirting and foreplay

he used to tickle Anne when they were younger because the carefree laugh she had could light up the whole room, but after she was cursed he felt like he would break her if he so much as hugged her and he misses that closeness

that's part of why he loves that kind of bond with others he feels comfortable with; he loves being able to make people he cares for laugh like that

I think that's all the headcanons for both of them that I have for now. I might add more after I finish playing through the whole game myself. I honestly did not expect to love two Slytherin boys so much. They're written so much better than JKR ever wrote Slytherin characters.
