Don’t know why Cha Haein has been getting so much hate lately. This is obviously my very personal opinion but just because some folks think the relationship was rushed/wasn’t developed properly doesn’t mean that Jinwoo was better off with Yohee.

Not only was the whole situation one sided on her part, but she was the first one to run away and essentially remove herself from the only place they used to hang out which were the gates (this is btw 100% justified and I am happy she chose what was good for her and not just stuck around working when she was suffering so much)

Now with Cha Haein, from the moment Jinwoo lays eyes on her he mentions how she’s pretty and immediately catches his attention with both her looks and skills, and while yeah you can argue that she liked him at first because he had no foul smell, that wasn’t the only thing she liked about him.

Even when Haein fought the shadow Soldiers, Jinwoo never rejected her interest in him and actually told her to go about it a different way that wasn’t putting herself in danger to join his guild, which is literally encouraging her if she wanted to pursue him as a friend/lover, he could’ve told her he wasn’t interested and that’s that. Also when he gets a call from his mom after exchanging numbers with Haein, it seems like he was expecting a call from her and went as far as to mention that he was happy but disappointed it was his mom who called and wondered who was it he expecting a call from. (Boy you know you wanted Haein to call lol)

And don’t get me started on how it was him who made sure to carry Haein when she was injured both during the Jeju Island raid and the carthenon temple incident, and during the Jeju island raid he only handed Haein to Baek when they were outside the queens lair when they were about to get on the helicopter, and after Jimwoo fought the Architect and went over to check on her, Haein even refused help from Choi Jongin who was trying to carry her and he understood that she wanted Jinwoo to carry her not himself (which lol)

And their date was done dirty in the Manhwa, Haein held onto his waist and comforted jinwoo, and he wanted to see her face but she was holding onto him too tightly and he couldn’t but he felt her warmly and he was so happy to be with her then, they held hands in the forest under the stars and there was a point where she straight up thought Jinwoo was trying to sleep with her when they arrived at the forest and while she was scared for a moment she sat down expecting him to make a move on her and didn’t realize until later that he just wanted to look at the stars with her (which again, he really wanted to show the sight to someone and he could’ve chosen his family or anyone else but he could only think of Haein) and they end up kissing there (and you can’t tell me that was it bro like you can’t I will die on the more than a kiss happened that night hill)

WHEN JINHO’S DAD ASKED JINWOO IF HE WAS SEEING SOMEONE BECAUSE HE WANTED HIS PRECIOUS DAUGHTER JINHEE TO MARRY THIS AMAZING MAN JINWOO LAUGHED AND TOLD HE ALREADY HAD SOMEONE HE LIKES!! Like y’all get out of here with your “it was forced” BS and Close the damn door 🤣🤣

And this isn’t even the last of Jinwoo being down bad for Haein this man spent 27 years thinking about the time when he could finally meet again

So yeah, while you might like Yohee, you can’t really say that their relationship was more natural than the one he had with Haein, almost every time he thought of Haein he thought about how she was cute, how he liked her reactions, enjoyed spending time with her and even told himself he should’ve asked her out much sooner 💀
