@musingmemories sent: “Pretend you’re my boyfriend.” — From On-jo to Cheong-san✨
The weekend at last. With the first lot of exams out of the way for the school year and some much needed free-time on the cards, Cheong-san found himself to be in a pretty decent mood. The questions had been easy enough, and although he didn’t want to jinx himself.. he felt as though he’d done pretty well— well enough to bag himself a passable grade, at the very least. Only time would tell if his gut instinct was right, wouldn’t it? But his own grades weren’t the only thing on his mind.. in fact, Cheong-san found his mind wondering about how On-jo had fared. To say she wasn’t the brightest would be a huge downplay; dumb, the more accurate term. No doubt she’d struggled to form an answer to the first question, and the imagery that popped into his mind of her scratching her head and chewing her lip in bewilderment was what had a chuckle bubbling up from the back of his throat.
Waiting at the bus stop for the next bus home, too mentally drained to walk his usual route, Cheong-san fished through his pockets for his phone. Maybe On-jo had posted something on social media about her struggles— he sure hoped so, so that he could make a mockery of her in the comment section.
Evil plan in full motion, Cheong-san typed her name into the search bar.. however, before he even got a chance to scroll down on her feed, the obnoxiously loud and rather clumsy sounding footsteps pitter-pattering straight for him in a hurry was what had his eyes darting up to find the source; ‘Be my boyfriend.’ A request that almost had his jaw dropping upon seeing who was asking. On-jo. “..Huh!?” Had he.. heard that correctly? She wanted him to be her.. boyfriend? Seconds in stunned silence passed before Cheong-san concluded what was really said.. pretend the key word that had his heart almost shattering in devastation just as quickly as it had started to pound upon hearing what he thought she’d said.
Wishful thinking on his part.. not that he’d ever let her have the satisfaction of knowing about the huge crush he’d harboured for her since they were six years old.
Collecting his composure enough to pick his jaw off the ground, Cheong-san cleared his throat to pierce the awkward silence that had settled. “Have you lost your mind?” Deadpanning at her, a scoff followed the question. “What the hell’s gotten into you? Did you hit your head, or use your very last braincell on that exam? Stop being weird.” If he knew On-jo well enough, she was probably playing some sort of prank on him and waiting to laugh in his face if he went along with her request. Unfortunately for her though, he wasn’t there to be the punchline of her joke if that was the plan.
“pReTeNd YoU’rE mY bOyFrIeNd. How about no?” Mimicking her voice as best he could, Cheong-san dramatically rolled his eyes and turned his full attention back to his phone screen in a futile attempt to quell the furious blush dusting his cheeks. That, and to delete his search history before On-jo caught a glimpse of it. “..Get lost, Gopher.” A curt request of his own before he was back to ignoring her like always. Maybe she’d take the hint and eventually go away, the notion that she could’ve been trying to use him in order to make a certain somebody jealous completely slipping his mind.
Unbeknownst to him, Su-hyeok was standing across the way chatting to his friends— On-jo’s longtime crush and the guy Cheong-san envied the most. Why couldn’t she look at him the way she looked at Su-hyeok? Why couldn’t she see that he wasn’t interested in her, but that there was somebody closer to home who idolised her more than anything or anyone in the world? But just like always, On-jo liked to live in blissful ignorance whenever it concerned him. That, or she was ignoring his true feelings on purpose so that she wouldn’t have to outright reject him and break his heart if he confessed. How thoughtful of her, if that were the case.

@musingmemories
There was no one in this world On-jo cared about anymore.
If that wasn’t a direct, figurative slap to the face if ever he’d heard one, Cheong-san didn’t know what was. Maybe it was said in the spur of the moment— On-jo had just suffered through the tragic loss of her best friend in one of the most traumatic of ways possible, and her emotions were probably muddled beyond comprehension. But at the same time.. what if she’d truly meant it? Bantering and bickering amongst themselves was an everyday occurrence for the two of them, having grown up together all of their lives and starting a feud through playfully exchanged insults way back when they were only infants, which had carried on throughout high school and showed no signs of letting up anytime soon.. but this? This felt different. Colder. Like she meant every word. Had he pushed her too far at some point? Exactly when had she stopped caring about him..?
Throughout their silly squabbles, never once had Cheong-san’s feelings for her changed.
In fact, they’d only grown in intensity.. an intensity that made his heart ache.
But how he felt wasn’t important now, was it? On-jo was breaking. Falling apart right in front of his very eyes and with the undead lurking just outside the door of the classroom they were currently hiding out in? It was Cheong-san’s responsibility to ensure she kept it together. An olive branch was needed— his blazer the perfect artefact for it, quick to be draped over her legs the second it became apparent that she was shaking.. from the temperature in the room or from shock was still to be determined, but Cheong-san would wager his bets on the latter. Unfortunately, his efforts fell short the second she’d once again snapped at him, accusing him that the nice gesture was simply the result of feeling guilty.
That elicited a scoff from him as his back slid down the wall. All of this protesting and she hadn’t shrugged the blazer off her yet.. typical On-jo.
“Who said I wanted to go to heaven anyways?” A murmured out rhetorical question meant to ease some of the tension brewing, Cheong-san tugged his knees up to his chest, shoulder brushing hers as he dared scoot closer. “Even if it’s too hot for a coat, you should still keep it anyway. It’s probably going to get cold soon..” With night quickly approaching, it wouldn’t take very long at all for the biting bitterness to seep in through the cracks in the windowpane.
What did you say to someone who’d just lost their best friend..?
There was only one thing he could say. A word so strange to use around her, one that should have been offered plenty over the years, and yet.. “I.. truly am sorry about I-sak.” Softly spoken after a brief pause of silence, Cheong-san swallowed thickly and finally turned to look at her head on. “You can talk to me about it. I won’t make fun of you if you want to cry. I just want to be there for you if you let me. Will you let me do that at least?” Talking. Something they hadn’t tried before, important conversations lost on questionable debates or pushed aside due to pride. Discussing the deeper things like emotions and feelings? A foreign concept to them both. But they could try, couldn’t they? It was the end of the world after all.
Maybe, just maybe.. this was the time to redeem himself and show her how much he really did care about her.
@fablesuntold sent: « “Here take my coat.” » Cheong-san to On-jo.
I-sak was gone.
Here one minute, a zombie the next, the way I-sak had spoken started with confusion, then words of betrayal and bitterness made I-sak sound completely unlike herself until she snapped. To the point On-Jo wondered if it was just a bad dream she’d wake up from with I-sak bursting into her room to collect her for whatever shenanigans she’d thought of for the day. Instead... I-sak fell from the window, never to be seen or heard from again. There’d been no last hug, no last exchange of laughter or teasing, no share of future plans or deep discussions about life and love. On-jo had to let go. Emotionally… then physically, releasing her hold on her best friend’s ice cold hand and watched her fall.
I-sak was just… gone, and On-jo had stood there helpless the entire time, unable to do a thing to save her. It brought on the harsh reality, settled in and chilled On-jo to the bone, threatening to make her completely numb so she couldn’t feel — confirmed that zombies were real, and that the people she knew and loved could die. Without I-sak, the world was empty, her light gone and left without it had plunged On-jo’s into monochrome.
I-sak’s death meant the end of the world.
There wasn’t anyone On-jo cared about anymore.
A broken response uttered only to Cheong-san, hoping that by not caring — or claiming she didn’t — meant she wouldn’t be able to hurt anymore. Her dad wasn’t here, and without knowing if life outside the confined walls of the school existed, their hope of contacting the anyone else was destroyed. The only other person that she might’ve cared about was Cheong-san and well… he hated her.
The cold she felt radiated off her body, grief a black hole that threatened to pull her under. On-jo shivered despite the warm weather shimmering from clear, sunny skies, the classroom’s height almost capable of making them forget the terrors that lurked below. Like heaven and hell, the school’s air conditioning system not working and each one of them in need of cool showers to cleanse themselves of sweat, dirt, and blood. Who knew if they’d ever have that chance again?
‘Here, take my coat.’
Tunnel vision still set in, On-jo’s gaze slowly traveled up the lanky frame of Cheong-san… lingering around her despite the intended jab she’d made to make him leave her alone. Without giving her a chance to decline, and then argue, he draped his uniform blazer over her knees, sliding down the wall to sit directly beside her. Such a gentle action made On-jo want to cry, pieces of herself already shattered and unable to know whether or not she could be put back together again. “Don’t do that…” She warned, keeping her glassy stare fixated on the fabric of his coat. “Act nice because you feel guilty for being mean all this time. It’s not gonna get you into heaven.” If there was such a thing, On-jo thought bitterly, before finally glancing over at Cheong-san. “It’s too hot for a coat anyway...” But in true stubborn fashion, On-jo made no move to give it back, nor was there a hint of gratitude. If everything else was going to shit… she needed her constant, and that was Cheong-san to act like nothing was wrong and everything was okay to keep her going. Unbeknownst to her… he was her pillar.

why were you drawn to each one of your characters?
Multimuse Asks |still accepting|
Ahh such a good question. There are a lot of different reasons why I was as my muses obviously are all over the place.
Wei Ying was because of his chaotic nature and I just love his character plus I wanted a chaotic muse.
Kunihiro is my absolute favorite from Touken Ranbu. I find him adorable as well.
With Xie Lian and Sizhui, I just liked their characters from the moment when I saw them or read about them. Plus a friend of mine who shares a ship with me is another reason, we made our own verse for the ship which I hopefully will be able to RP again sometime soon once they come back if they do.
Ye Xiu is because of my love of video games and Yang Yang is one of my favorite actors. Wu Xie is that nerdy history buff plus his series is about tomb raiding and the ship that's been built with @changeandmovingon. I don't really recall why I added Shi Lei besides just being a fan of the series and the OTP, I might remove him though since he hasn't gotten much activity.
Bai Yutong and Shen Yi are fun since they are my police force muses, I just like their characters. They are fun to mess around with. The last four being Lee Cheong-San, Chen Yuzhi, Yoon Hwa Pyung, and Kim Ga On were mostly because of OTP reasons or there was something that I just liked about them. For Cheong-San was because of the series since I am a zombie apocalypse nerd and the series was different from the others that I have seen, the post-canon verse I have for him is legit my fav because of what happens to some people when they are infected. Yoon Hwa Pyung is became of my love for the paranormal and him being a psychic plus the ship that I have for him.

[MULTIMUSE ASKS] 8-10 & 14
Multimuse Ask
8. what is each of your muses otps? notps?
I don't really have NOTPS for my muses since I'm pretty open to roleplaying any type of ship minus a poly relationship since that's the one shipping I've never been able to get into. But there are my ships for my muses Sanji - ZoSan " Alec Lightwood - Malec Peter Parker - none Mika - YuuMika Yoichi - KimiYoi Makoto Tachibana - MakoRin Kuroko Tetsuya - KagaKuro Sugawara - DaiSuga Nishinoya - AsaNoya Kunihiro - KaneHori Rin - BonRin Noctis - GladNoct Wei Ying - Wangxian Xie Lian - Hualian Lan Sizhui - Zhuiling Ye Xiu - none Wu Xie - Pingxie Bai Yutong - Zhanyao Lee Cheong-San - Cheong-San/Su Hyeok and Sizhui/Cheong-San (crossover ship) Chen Yuzhi - Yuezhi Yoon Hwa Pyung - hwa pyung x choi yoon Kim Gaon - Gahan Shen Yi - DuShen
9. why were you drawn to each one of your characters? There usually is something that I like about them or I related to them because of an event, etc that they went through. Like with Sanji, I do relate to him since I know how it feels not to have a bio father there, but we both have a father figure which helped. My favorite ship plays apart in it as well even if I won't be able to get the chance to interact with my ship because dead fandom or lack of RP pages.
10. which muse is the most fun to write for? So far, it's been Sanji since he is my most active at the moment and the one who I get plenty of interactions with. My sideblog is slow and since I am rebuilding that one I don't have a lot of followers on there to interact with yet.
14. which muse has the most aus or verses?
I think it is Wei Wuxian from The Untamed since he is one of my older muses that I have since I found myself involved in the series. Sanji probably would be next because of how many ideas I have floating around for him.

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER. REPOST.
Name: Mkay
Pronouns: she/her
Preference of communication: Discord or tumblr, I prefer discord just cause I’m more there.
Name of muse: Wei Ying, Kunihiro Horikawa, Xie Lian, Lan Sizhui. Modern -> Ye Xiu, Wu Xie, Shi Lei, Bai Yutong, Lee Cheong-San, Yoon Hwa Pyung, Kim Ga On, and Shen Yi.
RP experience/how long: I started out on facebook, but I’m not sure exactly when. I have at least like 10 years+ since I started in like middle school or high school. My first muses was an PH OC and Kanda from D.Gray-Man.
Best experience: All the awesome peeps that I have gained as friends and the awesome verses/universes that I have been able to make for my muses.
RP pet peeves/dealbreakers: I don’t have very many pet peeves when it comes to the roleplay side of things since I’m pretty chill person, etc. Probably pushy people who are wanting me to get to things right away or ones who get upset that I don’t get to their ask, etc right away. That just makes me not want to reply more and often I will either drop the thread or delete the ask.
Fluff, angst, or smut: I am a sucker for angst, it’s one of my favorite things being that I am also a angst fanfic writer so it is quite common that I lean that way. I do enjoy fluff as well since it is needed to help balance out the angst depending on my mood lol. For smut, that is only for specific people that I ship with like @changeandmovingon and @battleguqin because of how much we built the ships that we RP. It is something that won’t happen right away, I have to build it up and be comfortable enough to do so.
Plots or memes: I’m fine with both since I tended to plot or use the meme as a starting point depending on what happens first. I plot a lot with @changeandmovingon and @battleguqin for the sake of our threads whether it be a starter that one of us makes or from a meme. Or sometimes I just wing it depending on the way my reply takes me.
Long or short replies: I tend to prefer long replies more then short since I can get bored with short replies quicker, longer ones keep my interest going. Shorter replies can get boring unless it is a thread that I am excited about which might have something to do with my fanfic writer side as well. I’m just used to writing long paragraphs which is why I tend to enjoy longer replies better.
Best time to write: Anytime for me, I don’t have a specific time when it comes to writing. I just do it whenever I feel up to doing so whether it be a fanfic or a roleplay.
Are you like your muse: Uh... I mean I am history nerd like Wu Xie and I love video games like Ye Xiu does. That’s probably the only two things that I have in common with any of my muses.

‘Heaven sounded better than here right now..’ now that was something they could both agree on for once. That was if Heaven was even real and not a made up conspiracy.
Where did the dead go after they passed on? Did they really transcend the pearly white staircase right up to the clouds above and enter through the golden gates into paradise, or was there an abyss of nothingness awaiting them on the other side? Cheong-san didn’t pay much mind to that of religion, but faced with their current circumstances? It was impossible not to prey to a God he didn’t even know existed for their safety, and a quick pass to the Heavens if he were to get bitten and succumb to whatever horrific infection had plagued their school into a state of chaos. The people they’d attended class with and whom they’d chatted to only hours ago were now gone. Either roaming the halls in a frenzied state of hunger, completely not themselves anymore, or they’d been fortunate enough to make it off campus before the dead could sink their teeth into them.
Either way.. Cheong-san was glad him and On-jo had managed to stay together during their near miss in the cafeteria. If he’d lost her.. he didn’t even want to entertain that train of thought.
‘It’s really true, isn’t it?’ Huh? The question sparked confusion to loiter chocolate coated orbs. “..What?” But then she spoke again, question making a lot more sense. She was in disbelief he’d actually apologised to her. Any other time, Cheong-san would’ve snickered in her face, but now? It wasn’t the appropriate time. “We don’t know if the world’s ending yet. The outbreak might only be in the school. Maybe it hasn’t made it out into the rest of Shibuya yet. I’m sure the military have it under control and they’ll come for us eventually.” Wishful thinking, he knew that. But he had to say something to keep her spirits in tact— well, whatever was left on them, anyway.
Unbeknownst to him, On-jo’s stress levels were only rising and it wasn’t until he felt the grab to his arm did he realise what was happening.
She thought he was bitten because he’d apologised. Paranoia at its finest, causing Cheong’s eyes to widen upon hearing her voice rise in desperation. “What— On-jo, what are you doing?” Watching as she proceeded to grab at him some more, it was only when the sudden moaning and groaning echoing the halls drew closer did Cheong-san’s panicked stare dart over to the door just in time for thunderous bangs! to begin to pound on the door, causing him to wince and immediately tug On-jo closer out of instinct. “No, no, shh.. I’m not bitten. You need to be quiet. I’m okay, I’m not going anywhere. You’re okay too. Just.. hold me.” Rambled out shakily, Cheong-san’s arm protectively wound around her much smaller frame, other hand cradling her head into his chest to rock her gently.
It seemed as though not everyone possessed the ability to be empathetic in a time of need, Na-yeon’s bitchy tone evidence of that as she sneered at them from the other side of the classroom, an accusing finger pointed right at On-jo. “Are you dumb!? Make her shut up, she’s going to bring those things right in here to us! Tell her to stop!” She snapped with a harsh glower, Cheong-san meeting it head on with a nasty glare of his own. “You shut up, can’t you see that she’s panicking!? Like you haven’t panicked at all throughout this entire thing!” Whisper yelled right back at her in a sneer, another pound to the entrance sent Su-hyeok and Dae-su rushing toward the shaking door to hold it closed, Su-hyeok chiming in once he was in place. “Guys, stop! This is getting us nowhere..!”
