“Your laugh is adorable, has anybody ever told you that?” He said softly and as casual as ever, admiring the tint of red that dusted Reki’s face as he scrunched his eyes shut.

“Ohoh my gahahad you’re seheriously kihILLING! me Lahangaaa!” The redhead whined, his voice breaking with squeaks through his giggles.

“It’s fun though, right?” another whine followed by grudgey giggles, “Riiighhttt?” Langa grinned, emphasising by digging into Reki’s stomach and wiggling into the wobbly muscle.

“AH!ahAHAaA LAHANGA!! IHIT’S FUHUN OKAY IT’S FUN STAHAP ahahehehah!”

The blue-haired boy laughed back, “You’re having fun?” he asked, a smile wide and beaming across his cheeks, the feeling he got in his chest seeing Reki laugh and smile in this way— nothing could explain how happy he was right now.

“YeHEhES! I AHaHAM!!” Reki swatted weakly at the other’s hands, blithe and infectious laughter spilling out of him constantly.

In love with the moment, Langa wanted more, more boisterous and excited and giddy laughter from his favourite boy in the world. Langa leaned further over Reki and giggled as he squirmed and snorted.

He slipped his hand under the skater’s shirt as he announced laughter-filtered half-assed protests and danced along his belly, fluttering his fingers across the soft and ticklish skin.

Reki screeched and folded instantly, wrapping his arms around Langa’s and thrashing every-which-way, blurting out words and fumbling as shrieks and cackles and snorts pulled him helplessly into incoherence.

“…and you’re happy when I tickle you?” He smiled softly. Reki was so obvious. He didn’t even need to ask this question, yet he still did. Oh, this idiot.

The boy scrambled, “-YEHEHAS—WAHAIT I MEHEAN-!!” an ear-splitting squeal, “EHEH-HAHAHA LAHANGAAA!!”

Oh my god. Langa’s heart skipped so many beats he felt like he was falling. Reki’s laugh. His face. How was he so…

The way his hair was somehow even more messed up than usual, covering the scrunched up bridge of his nose and laying around his face, brushing his cheeks as he moved. How he howled out every ounce of laughter still ringing in his heart, and how he held on to Langa for dear life despite him being the sole reason for this. Langa was overcome with love for this stupid skater boy, he couldn’t handle it. God, anything more could kill him.

He flushed a rose pink from his hands to his ears and fought everything not to crumble right there. This feeling. He could never describe it, he just never wanted it to end.

The snowboarder clutched a hand to his chest briefly and stared at the boy below him, bewildered and entranced. He slowed his tickles to a stop and rested his palm on Reki’s stomach, tracing gently.

“Reki… I…” He trailed, searching his mind for every word he could say, nothing leaving his mouth.

He lifted his head momentarily to answer him, still overcome with leftover giggles, “Ahahahah— y-yeheah?” He gazed at the blushing boy above, not realising how hard he was smiling.

He was so lucky to have him.

Langa let go of him, smiling victoriously. Reki just tried to breathe.

He pulled the bandana off his head to cover his eyes and the blush on his face, trying to focus again on what had happened.

He relaxed when he felt contact with his lips, a loving kiss from Langa. The Canadian pulled his boyfriend's bandana up again, giving a smile that could be compared to perfection.

"Hello~"

Reki laughed. "Oh, come here!" He grabbed his boyfriend and pulled him close, giving him a loving hug and at the same time messing up all his hair. "Who let you be so cute?!"

The two stopped hugging, lying on the bed.

The redhead’s eyes were blown wide open as his boyfriend grabbed his sides to gently move him to the side, wanting to get a certain snack from his pantry. They both stopped dead in their tracks when Reki let out an ungodly screech, the skateboarder quickly covering his mouth with rosey cheeks.

Langa let out a small smile as the dots connected far faster than when he first learned to skateboard. “Reki, are you-”

“Shut it.”

“Reki-”

“Shut up!” The redhead yelled, the blush on his face deepening as he walked briskly to Langa’s room, shutting the door behind him and flopping on his bed, hand covering his heated face.

Langa let out a small laugh as he followed him close behind, knocking on the door before opening it and being greeted by an almost-on-fire Reki. “Reki, what’s wrong?” He asked softly.

All he got in response, though, was an exacerbated groan as the boy turned to his side to face the wall.

Langa stepped closer, his socked feet padding silently along the floor before sitting beside the redhead, eyebrows knit together. “Reki, there’s nothing wrong with being-”

“Don’t. Even. Say it.” He groaned, grabbing Langa’s pillow and shoving his cherry-red face in it.

Langa smirked as he realized what exactly was happening, no longer worried for his friend, but instead feeling mischievously playful. “Don’t say what?” He asked, acting completely innocent and oblivious to what the other was trying to say.

“Don’t even start, Langa. You know exactly what.” He mumbled into the pillow, words muffled as he held it even tighter to his face.

“Ohh, you mean…ticklish?” the blue-haired teen said nonchalantly, a smirk on his face as he leaned over the redhead. “Don’t say that you’re tickli-”

“Langa!” He yelled, quickly pulling the pillow off of his face and slamming it into his friend, though immediately regretting it as he saw the playful glint in his eye.

“What? There’s nothing wrong with being ticklish, Reki~” Langa made sure to enunciate every syllable of the word as his hands formed into claws, crawling closer and closer to the boy on the bed.

Reki backed up into the wall, his face still on fire as he tried to talk his way out of his current predicament. “L-Langa wait! Plehease dohont!”

Langa giggled as the boy already began giggling, not even being touched yet. “Nope, I think I need to tickle you until you learn that it’s nothing to be embarrassed by…” He chuckled, straddling the other’s legs before his hands descended onto his sides.

“LAHAHANGA PLEHEHASE!” He pleaded, his strength already fading as he tried grasping the other’s arms and shirt to tug him off, attempting to crawl away when that didn’t work, trying to hide his blushing face all the while.

“Please what~?” He sang, grabbing a stray ankle before Reki could make it off of the bed.

“Lahanga noho! Lemme gohoho!” He laughed, a hysterical edge to his giggles as he waited in anticipation for his friend to strike, nowhere near having enough strength to pull his foot free.

“Langa yesss~�� He giggled, stroking a few fingers up and down Reki’s socked sole, the boy immediately letting out a loud stream of cackles.

“NOHOHO WAHAHAIT! DOHOHNT TIHIHI- TIHIHICK- LAHAHANGA!” He laughed, covering his blushing face once again as his toes curled and foot twisted in the other teen’s grasp, trying and trying to utter that word to make his friend stop.

“Say it, and I promise I’ll stop Reki!” Langa said with shining eyes, a finger swiping under Reki’s toes, the redhead letting out a loud yelp.

“YAHAHAHA! STAHAHAP TIHIHICKLING MEHEHEHE!” And as soon as he said it the sensations stopped, traded for the feeling of Langa straddling his waist as he panted for breath. “N-nohoho! Y-You sahaid you’d stohop!”

Langa smiled, leaning down to give Reki’s reddened cheek a chaste kiss before swiping his bangs out of his face. “I am, don’t worry. That wasn’t that bad, right?”

“Whatever.” the skateboarder pouted, pulling the other down before flipping them both over. “Let’s see if you think it ‘isn’t that bad.’”

In moments like these, Langa likes to imagine that if looks could kill, Reki would at least be somewhat bruised. He’d never look at him too annoyed of course, he wouldn’t want to kill Reki! Who in their right mind would want to kill Reki?! “I told you, I need to finish this homework. I’m already way behind because of all the S races we went to this month. I might fail this class.”

“Okay but like, what’s more important, me or this stupid history class?”

“Reki!”

“Langa!” The redhead pouts at him. “Come on, please? Cuddles? Just a little bit!”

They just stare at each other for a few seconds, then Langa pats his leg. “Come here.”

The way Reki’s face lights up as he scrambles into his lap almost makes Langa feel sorry about what’s gonna happen next but Reki brought this upon himself. He wants cuddles? Alright, he’s gonna get cuddles.

“See, that’s better, isn’t iHIT- Lahangahaha!”

“Yes, dear? What is it”

“Yohou knohohow whahahat!”

The blush spreading across Reki’s face turns it almost the same color as his hair and Langa wonders whether it comes from the nickname or the fingers digging into his sides. Oh well, it’s adorable either way. Langa buries his face in Reki’s neck and blows a small raspberry, making his boyfriend squeal.

“I thought you wanted cuddles?”

“Yehehes, cuhuddles nohot tihickles- nahahat theHEHERE!”

“Not where, here?” Langa can’t help but smiling softly at the way Reki starts flailing when the relentless fingers start wiggling into his tummy. “But I like this spot, you’re so ticklish there.”

“THAHAHAT’S THEHE POHOHOINT- DOHON’T!” Reki shrieks, curling over and trying to escape the hug.

Langa can’t be bothered. He has his arms wrapped around Reki in a vice grip, holding him secured in his lap and happily sneaking his fingers under his boyfriend’s hoodie to touch bare skin. Maybe even wiggle a single finger into his belly button - uh oh, there’s the snorts.

“EHEEK- LAHAHAHANGA, NAHAHAHA!”

“Had enough?”

“YEHEHEHES, PLEHEHEASE!”

“Will you let me do my homework in peace?”

“PROHOHOMIHIHIHISE, JUHUST STAHAHAP!”

“Alright, alright.” Langa chuckles softly to himself and ceases his tickle attack. “Are you okay?”

“Y-yeah.” Reki takes a deep breath and rubs his tummy. “Whoo- I’m sorry, I didn’t want to be annoying, I just wanted… yeah…”

“You wanted to cuddle.” A squeak slips out of his boyfriend’s mouth when Langa wraps his arms around him again and grabs his pen. “It’s okay, we can cuddle. You just have to hold still so I can take notes.”

The biggest smile spreads across Reki’s lips and Langa’s heart jumps. “Promise!”

The sunset painted Okinawa in vibrant oranges and pinks as Reki and Langa made their way back to Reki's house after a long day of skating. Both boys were grinning from ear to ear, their passion for the sport leaving them buzzing with energy even as the evening winds grew chillier.

"I still can't believe the new trick you pulled off today!" Reki gushed, giving Langa an admiring smile. "You're picking this up so fast, soon you'll be wiping the floor with all of us!!" Langa bashfully rubbed the back of his neck at the praise. Though he'd only recently discovered skating, being with Reki made every bruise and scrap feel worth it to improve.

When they arrived at Reki's, his mother had a hot dinner and warm blankets ready to chase away the remains of their day's chills. As they ate, Reki regaled Langa with wild tales from other competitions, keeping the mood light and fun. Once their bellies were full, Reki suggested they relax with a movie, and Langa readily agreed.

Cuddling up under the kotatsu, Langa leaned back against the sofa as Reki nestled in beside him, pulling the blanket over them both. As the opening credits began to roll, Langa glanced down at Reki, taking in his relaxed smile and rosy cheeks. Without thinking, Langa reached out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind Reki's ear, his fingers lingering to caress his neck. Reki turned to meet his gaze, bitting his lower lip trying to hide a giggle, and that's when Langa discovered something new—Reki was ticklish!

As Langa's fingers grazed Reki's neck, he noticed the other boy's breath hitching with barely contained laughter. Curious, Langa ghosted his hand lower, trailing gentle fingers along Reki's neck. That's when Reki broke, squirming and giggling helplessly as Langa found one of his most sensitive areas.

"H-hey, no fair!" Reki protested through his laughter, trying in vain to bat Langa's hand away. But Langa was smitten by this new playful side of Reki, and determined to learn all his weaknesses. Shifting closer, Langa slipped his hand under the blanket to test just how ticklish Reki's torso might be.

His hunch proved correct as Reki exploded into peals of laughter the moment Langa's fingers made contact with his tummy. "L-Langa stop!" Reki cried breathlessly, writhing in the other boy's grasp but making no real effort to escape. Wanting to hear more of that wonderful laughter, Langa redoubled his ticklish attack. Reki squealed and kicked his legs, holding nothing back as Langa explored every inch of his trembling torso. By the time Langa showed mercy, they were both panting and giddy. Reki gazed up at Langa with something new and tender in his eyes, and Langa thought that maybe, just maybe, Reki's laughter wasn't the only thing he wanted to keep discovering between them. . . .

“Today was going to be a great day, but no! You. Had. To. Annoy. Me. All. Morning.” Reki emphasized each word with a poke, making Langa laugh out loud “ohhh, if you were that desperate for some tickles, you should have asked me, Langa~”

The Canadian blushed and started to let out little squeaks and snorts

“Oh~ so cuuuuuute!”

“SUHUHUHUHUHUSH”

“Apologize for annoying me”

“NEHEHEVEHEHER”

“Oh, are you feeling confident?~”

Reki grabbed both of Langa’s wrists and pinned them above his head, vibrating his fingers in his boyfriend’s armpits and driving him crazy

“REHEHEHEHEKIHIHI PLEHEHEHEHEHAHAHASE! NAHAHAHAHAT THEHEHEHERE!”

“Apologize, my love~”

“OK SOHOHOHOHORRY! I’M SOHOHOHORRY REHEHEKI!”

“For what?”

“ANOHOHOHOING YOU!”

“Hmmmm, I’ll think about accepting your apology” Reki smiled, going down to leave some affectionate and ticklish kisses on Langa’s neck

“EheheheAHAHAHA!” Langa raised his shoulders to protect his neck when the redhead gave him a loving raspberry

At that moment, the two heard the door open, and Langa’s mother entered the apartment
