When they return to Monaco, Charles knows he’ll never be the same again. What follows is devastating and Charles can only move forward with a car that’s built like a rocket, but Daniel is still here. He buys him socks, interrupts him in interviews, and his heart only rabbits in his chest whenever he sees black and yellow in the crowd. He’s only twenty-one and suddenly, he’s found himself with someone else to lose.

Versainz: baby’s first situationship (literally pentaltyboxbox’s art is my versainz thesis. “Ay, Max, no. I am not gay and neither are you” 🤨) teammates who weren’t supposed to like each other reluctantly becoming friends and then being intricately connected for the rest of their careers. But totally not in a gay way. Of course.

Chestappen: repressed catholic and some guy who needs dilf pussy so bad he wants to kill himself (this is deeply important to me)

Strollonso: Brat princess Lance. Heros and anti-heroes. I’m on the dark side. Tell Lance not to worry I just want to build a gap with the cars behind. You’re my fucking hero.

Carlando: Baby’s first situationship pt.2?? Lando with a massive crush, first real boyfriend Carlos….i need there to be angst. Lando fell first AND harder, etc.

Britcedes/Gewis: George fumbling all over himself trying to impress Lewis, Lewis just thinking he’s cute no matter what. It’s the coolest man alive/weird little freak he’s obsessed with pairing of my dreams. George: this is my boyfriend he’s cooler than me and also he’s cooler than all of you.

Maxiel: first love married divorced remarried pining missing something that maybe was never there will they won’t they one big game of gay chicken healing from baby’s first situationship etc etc etc (I adore them)

Dando: trying to find solace in another, longing for someone you can’t get back, subversion of expected dynamics (controversial: I fully believe Lando tops in this one). But also. They need to have one brain cell. Lando blabbing on about god knows what. Daniel sweating and popping a vein bc of how much he needs to kiss him.

Twinklaren/Landoscar: third time’s the charm, oh you’re the one I’ve been waiting for, tender glances, young love, first teammate crush syndrome

Danterri: we had something weird in the past. “Find another weed guy I can’t fuck with you…uhhhmm nothing personal I can’t fall in love right now and youre Everything I love so if I ever see you again I’ll never let go of your hand sooo yeah” (we’ve all seen that one web weaving.) Are you dating the female version of me?

Lecciardo: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED IN VEGAS. Charles needs dick from a guy with unstoppable charisma soooooo bad. Fueling each other’s impulsive sides, etc etc

Sebchal: baby’s first situationship (Charles’ version) (from the vault) I miss you so much I’m going to listen to breakup songs all night long. I still think of you every day. I named you twice in a list of drivers. You may even kiss. If it was the omegaverse Seb is so obviously an alpha.

Brocedes: if it doesn’t make me physically sick to my stomach with anguish I do not want it. I hope you die I hope we both die. Hand in unlovable hand. I still consider him my best friend in my heart. We’re not friends. Are they lovers? Worse.

Chewis (Charles/Lewis. I recognise this is also the name for Checo/Lewis. What is the Charles/Lewis name?) me and the bad bitch I pulled by being in violation of that one article section. You know the post. They suffer together. Kinship in joint pain. You’ve got a long future ahead of you. Praise kink.

a snippet of my poly!chardando fic ft. charles and daniel making out

i've been working on this since october and it's still not done, but i'm almost at 3k (i’m very slow i know) so i thought i would post a little preview because i'm too excited tbh

the whole fic is essentially centered around a poly relationship between charles, daniel, lando and the reader, but this part only contains charles and daniel (chaniel? or lecciardo?) as they're just impatient little shits

so enjoy (hopefully) these almost 500 words of my lightweight brainrot (the heavy parts come later hehe) and don't hesitate to give me any feedback (my inbox is open for any thoughts and requests), it would be much appreciated, thank youu for reading!<33

“Na-uh,” he murmured and grabbed Charles by his waist, pulling him back and into his embrace. Charles was slightly taken aback by Daniel’s sudden actions, but not in a bad way. His heart skipped a beat at the closeness of his partner that he has been yearning so long for. Daniel’s left hand rested on Charles’ back firmly holding him against his chest, while his right hand snaked its way onto Charles’ neck, his thumb slowly stroking the Monegasque’s flushed cheek.

“You’re not going anywhere, I’ve missed you too much for that,” Daniel said in a hushed voice laced with need.

“I’ve missed you, too, Dan,” Charles replied slightly shyly and smiled, fondness visible in the way he looked at the Australian. He hooked his hands behind Daniel’s neck and run his fingers through the hair on the back of his head. When their lips finally met after weeks, Charles felt like his heart was going to explode and Daniel was buzzing with happiness. You watched them have their little moment, engulfed in their kiss, and pouted a little at the sight. You loved seeing your boys be so happy and in love. It would certainly be nice to join them, but instead you went to sit on the couch to give them some space; you’re going to have plenty of opportunities to shower them both in affection later. Daniel just happened to snatch Charles faster than you, which did not surprise you considering being fast was what he did for a living.

Even though you left to sit down, you were not immune to their smooching; the open kitchen was connected to the living room and you had a nice view of them from your spot. Charles moved his right hand from Daniel’s neck to his bicep, gently squeezing the muscle, which had him weak in the knees. Thankfully, Daniel was still supporting him with a hand around his waist, holding him as close as possible. His tongue traced Charles’ lower lip and then bit it and sucked on it a little bit, which made Charles moan. Their kiss became more heated and Daniel started to move slowly, pushing Charles’ back against the kitchen countertop. “Up,” Daniel huffed huskily and Charles obliged. With the help of his partner’s arm, he lifted himself on the countertop and parted his legs wide so Daniel could fit in. He leaned back into Daniel to kiss him again, gently caressing his cheeks. Daniel rubbed Charles’ bare thighs, since he was only in his boxers, slowly moving up to his waist and under his shirt, to explore all of that skin he’s been craving. Charles scooted closer to Daniel and hugged his torso with his legs, pressing his semi-hard cock to Danny’s stomach.

Be totally honest what do you think of Lecciardo

MY BABIES MY LOVES! ngl this very much started as 'I'm forcing my two fav barbies to kiss' but the emotional possibilities!! both of them entered big teams thinking ANYTHING would be possible. daniel is the silliest guy on the grid and charles is one of the most serious about his goals and responsibility for the team, but really they have similar stories, and they both lost the same person they were really close to. my fav fics are the fucked up emotional ones but really they're a comfort pairing <3 and all the vegas stuff is just so fun

⭐️ For the Director’s Cut!

hi anon! i posted a chaniel/lecciardo fic for valentine's day last month and haven't made a tumblr promo post about it yet >< (link here!) but this section of it really made my own heart skip a beat sjkfhaskf i just love writing people in love...

In the end, when he has his way with him and Charles is left watching the sleeping figure of him in his bed, he realises that it’s Daniel’s inherently sweet disposition that carries Charles down this wayward street of infatuation to love. 

Some mornings it’s Charles’ coffee, made somehow perfectly with the temperamental coffee machine Lorenzo gifted him when he first moved out. Other days when Daniel leaves before he can say goodbye, it’s a letter on the fridge written in English and Italian. Charles can barely understand it because of his often appalling spelling, but he’s still left smiling after, sated even when they’re spending weeks apart. 

“You look pretty today,” he says to Charles one day when he comes out of the bathroom in his Ferrari suit. He’s worn this countless times before and Daniel has seen both him and Sebastian in the same thing for years. And yet, his heart pounds so loud he can hear it and wonders what he should say back.

“You’re pretty too.” It’s choked out and would have come off insincere if not for the way he blooms with the praise, and how Charles would never say anything he didn’t mean when it comes to Daniel. He’s drinking water and scrolling through his phone at the counter but Charles still finds him stupidly handsome. Pretty too. The sun dapples his brown curls, his lashes fan against the skin beneath his eyes when he blinks, and he’s freshly-shaven but when he kisses Charles, he can still feel the prickle against his chin. It makes him chuckle to himself and he can’t help but ask Daniel for another and another, until he has to grab him by the lapels of his blazer and tell him that Andrea has been waiting for him for the past fifteen minutes outside. 

so this fic was very much entirely inspired by laufey's valentine, one of the sweetest songs in existence. her music and voice make me want to fall in love OTL

in the song, it goes:

"He tells me I'm pretty Don't know how to respond I tell him that he's pretty too Can I say that? Don't have a clue"

which inspired this scene! from vegas 2019, to daniel wanting to be on a deserted island with charles because he caves under peer pressure, to daniel whispering into charles' neck rumoured to be 'you have big dick energy' at monza 2022, to daniel saying je t'aime and charles replying with moi aussi at singapore 2022, i've been fascinated by their relationship and how easily daniel reduces charles to a stuttering, blushing mess. if you've read any of my kpop rpf or simply filtered for additional tags, you'll know how much i love an established r/s and/or domestic fluff moment and this is no exception. it's them finding home in each other despite the busy lives they lead and despite the fact that charles in this fic overthinks himself to death, he finally reckons with the truth that he will always be enough for daniel to stay. i wish i could be more eloquent with this but in the words of jane austen, if i loved this fic less, i might be able to talk about it more.
