The chain gets to meet one of their own's sister… Hyrule and Legend also get adopted and neither is complaining.

----
The next shift, which arrived before they could reach Hyrule Castle, took them to Warriors' era.
It seemed whatever was throwing them from era to era only brought them to Legend's for him to arrive just when it was too late to save his grandparents.
Legend took about a week to get a hold of himself, then he was able to act as normal again, throwing off most of the group.
He didn't care if it confused some of them, or if they may have thought him heartless for not mourning his grandparents longer. Frankly he let their deaths affect him longer than usual... yeah, he was shoving the pain down until the quest eventually ended so he could break down and adjust himself to all the pain, but... He couldn't risk remaining compromised, emotionally or otherwise.
Epona couldn't cross through the portal, though Legend had anticipated that, and in the few hours between leaving the remnants of his grandparents’ farm and coming to the next portal. In that time, He enchanted an old flute of his with the three whistles from Holodrum as inspiration.
Epona assured him that it was as if the flute rang in her mind and his location was a homing beacon when they tested it. She promised to come find him when he called.
They went through the portal, and on the other side, Warriors claimed the land as his own. Soon enough, they were wandering some small town filled with people who clearly knew their resident hero.
Legend hadn't paid that much mind, his own era's towns were always filled with people who knew him, it came from helping them out all the time.
He lingered at a stall with some magic items, Hyrule pointing to one and asking the merchant about it. They received a decent sales pitch and description of the item. An ancient ring forged in dragon fire with the power to protect the wearer from flames.
Legend noted the magic itself was just basic flame protection and made a comment that it must be expensive if it was so rare, asking if he could see it. He was allowed to hold it, and then they were told it was a thousand rupees.
Hyrule frowned. "You know, that's so odd... See, we're something of magic users ourselves, and that's..."
"That's a basic fire protection charm on a... plain gold ring and those rubies have several visible imperfections," Legend finished. "I'm also a bit of an artisan, so between the two of us, we know our stuff."
Hyrule smiled sharply. "Sorry, give me your name again?"
"Uhh, Ar--"
"Arthur, right!" Hyrule's grin sharpened even more. "Why don't you put some time and effort into being honest and not selling fakes."
Legend snorted as the man tripped over himself to remove the fakes from his stall, and he nodded Hyrule to move on.
"Not bad, Rulie."
"Thanks. I hate liars, there's no way you could even forge anything short of steel in Dragonfire, unenchanted gold would turn to ash!" Hyrule huffed.
Legend snorted. "Not wrong there--"
"Hey! You!" Legend knew that voice. He turned and Linkle was there. "I didn't think you'd be back here! You look a lot better than last time I met you."
"I was half dead last time you met me," Legend deadpanned. Hyrule glanced between them. "Oh! This is Piyoko!"
Piyoko happily let Linkle pick her up.
Link! Link! She's like you! Piyoko declared. Hello, miss!
Linkle grinned. "Hi there!"
Hyrule tapped Legend's shoulder and he looked over. "Oh, this is Linkle. I ran into her last time I was in this era... I didn't actually know it was the captain's but yeah. She helped me out."
"Kid showed up half dead on my doorstep," Linkle said, cradling Piyoko in one arm as she held out her other hand to Hyrule. "You must be one of his time-traveling brothers then?"
Hyrule smiled and nodded. "Yep! Well--We're not brothers, but that's the easiest to say."
"Hey, brothers-in-arms is a term, it's not lying if you don’t specify," she responded. "I'm glad this guy actually has some gear now. Don’t you take after him, kiddo, he showed up on our doorstep covered in blood with only a knife--a single knife--as his defense."
Hyrule snorted. "His magic too, actually. And I'll take after him as much as I want, thank you, ma'am."
Legend rolled his eyes. "First of all, it was mostly monster blood, and secondly, I slaughtered two whole hordes of monsters with that knife and my magic. Also, don't tell him what to do--and you, don't copy me."
Hyrule just had this blinding grin while Linkle rolled her eyes.
"Hordes? Yeah right, gimme numbers over twenty and we can chat--"
"Fifty-seven with horde one, I remember somewhere around three times that, mass wise, with the second, but I also had some help there and I got my hands on a sword part way through."
Linkle whistled appreciatively. "We could've used your help with the war, and if this brother of yours--" Hyrule glowed a bit brighter, Legend noted that his successor definitely liked being connected to him, "--is anything similar, he would've been an asset too. Shameful of y'all not to show up back then."
"Ah, we've been busy."
"Time travel ain't restrictive, now, is it?"
Legend had to give that to her. However, before he could respond, he heard a familiar whistle. Wild was calling them to regroup.
"Ah, we have to go," Hyrule said. "Nice to meet you, miss Linkle."
"Nah, I'll tag along. Can't hurt to meet the rest of the time travelers, Lana would kill me if I didn't," Linkle waved them off. Legend swore he heard that name before, but he shrugged.
Hyrule frowned and looked at Legend, but he shrugged. "Piyoko likes her, and I trust her." As much as he could trust someone he didn't actually know. "Worst comes to worse, we meet with the others and Pretty Boy tries to kill her, so we help."
"One of your brothers are gonna try to kill me?" she asked bluntly.
"If he knows you and you're an enemy, then yeah, and we'd side with him," Legend admitted easily as Piyoko squirmed from Linkle's arms and landed on Legend's shoulder. "But I think you’re a good person so by all means you should be fine."
Linkle sighed. "And here I go, doing the one thing I told Momma I wouldn't do: risk being killed."
Hyrule snorted as they headed off toward in the direction Wild had whistled from. "Okay, no, I like her too. Can we keep her?"
"Eh, sadly she doesn't fit the whole Triforce of Courage, Master Sword, killed Ganon, or is a reincarnation of Sky's previous incarnation, and she wasn't dragged to join us by the goddess, so I don’t think so. Unless she is?" Legend raised an eyebrow at her.
She blinked. "Wait--If those are your "brothers-in-arms" group's requirements then--"
"Vet! Traveler!" Warriors called as they reached a market street. "What took you-- Linkle?!"
"Link! You absolute bastard! You told Ma you were on a sanctioned mission out west! Not some goddess-driven quest!"
Warriors tried to backpedal but Linkle was fast. She grabbed his collar and threw him into a nearby merchant's stall. The merchant, though startled, saw who it was and just sighed heavily... as if this was normal.
"Hey!" Sky reached for his sword.
"No! No--It's fine!" Warriors said quickly, getting up fast. His nose was bleeding, and he was holding it with one hand while his other rapidly waved Sky off. "She's my sister!"
"The sister you lied to!" She screeched. "Oh, Ma is gonna be so pissed! You lied to her! Yer out here time travelin' again an' recruitin' actual children?!" Linkle gestured to Legend and Hyrule, the former of which scooped Piyoko up from where Linkle had dropped her. "You told us it was a damned political venture to re-negotiate borders!"
Legend shared a wide-eyed glance with Hyrule. Then the others seemed equally shaken, yet most of the townsfolk seemed unsurprised, guards included and just gave them a wide berth.
"It was!" Warriors argued. "I just... Got portal-napped on the way and didn't tell you in the letters."
"You said the negotiations were going well in those letters!"
"They might've been! I didn't know!"
"Oh, you--!"
Legend stared with wide eyes as they fought. He leaned toward Wind.
"Is this what having siblings is like?"
Wind snorted. "Oh yeah, only when one of you fucks up."
Legend nodded slowly. Maybe he shouldn't tell Fable...
They watched as Warriors and Linkle argued, fought--bruised and bit arms-- and hurled insults 'til they turned blue. Then at some point their... altercation paused, and Legend decided to put all his bravery to the test to intervene, despite Twilight's and Wind's verbal protests to not.
"Linkle?" Legend entered the five-foot radius everyone gave the siblings.
"What?" She whirled onto him.
He held out Piyoko. "She didn't want to yell."
Link wants you to stop beating up the blue one! Piyoko chirped.
"Hey, snitch," Legend hissed.
"Vet, please put the psycho poultry away--"
"Psycho?! Piyoko is not psycho!" Linkle snarled. "She is an angel!"
"She actually tried to pluck the eyes out of Ganon," Legend admitted.
"Yeah! She actually... she what?" Linkle looked at him confusedly.
Legend grinned. "You heard me. But uhh, it is getting kinda late and I'd rather not be bothering the locals, despite how clearly used to this they are. So, inn and food?
He looked over at Time, who nodded. He seemed a bit surprised but mostly amused.
"Yeah, to the inn and get dinner," Legend repeated then held up Piyoko again, "or I'll sic' her on you and I promise you, she'll win."
Linkle blinked while Warriors just stared. Then the woman grinned. "I like this kid, Link. You found some good ones, but I claim these two."
"Wha--hey!"
"You had Mask and Tune! I'm claiming these two!"
"You’re not even on this quest!"
"I am now, bitch!"
You know? Legend liked Linkle, she was great.

Thank you for the tag! Now just let me go through my WIPs and see what I have…
Warriors Centric Fic
The Adventures of Legend and Piyoko
Returning Shadows
Hero of [the] ____ (Twilight, Legend, Skies, Four Sword, Time, etc…) (hopefully that makes sense. There’s nine different WIPs, each titled similarly for each hero)
My mind just blanked on people to tag, hold up, it’s been a long day
@seaotter-17 @readingismyhobby24 uhhhhhhhhhhh, I’ve run outta people that I can think of off the top of my head, so we’ll leave it at that for now
WIP Challenge!
Rules: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it! And then tag as many people as you have WIPs. I have deemed that this isn’t just for writing either. Sketch titles? Comics? DnD campaigns? If you have an unfinished project, it counts!!
Hi everyone! In honor of fanfic writer appreciation day, bringing this back!
My insane taglist under the cut, but if you see this in the wild feel free to jump on!!

Soon the arrived inside the castle and stopped in the throne room
"Wait here, Arzette. I'll go fetch His Majesty." Impa said before leaving.
Things were quiet before the doors suddenly swung open as a Cuckoo, a chicken-like creature, came squawking in with a shining object in it's mouth before:
"Argh! This is the seventh time they've played keep-away with my royal headpiece! Spoke a young, blond woman in a beautiful blue and purple outfit, who was followed by a young lad in a green tunic and a long cap!
"Piyoko, Stop! This isn't funny anymore!" They shout before diving after the Cuckoo, only to faceplant onto the ground!
Arzette's Quests in Koridai and Gamelon: Featuring Link & Zelda
@smashingveteransandnewcomers
Okay, let's be fair here. Everyone knows about Link's adventure in Koridai and its many Faces of Evil and Zelda's quest for the Wand of Gamelon. However, there's about to be a little twist to those stories right here and now. Featuring a new face from another land, known as Faramore. While it has enjoyed its peace for the past ten years after the defeat of a villain named Daimur, the warrior princess Arzette has kept training day in and day out in between her royal duties in case trouble ever arose again. Which she is currently doing now, training with her Smart Sword

last night I was having im-not-sleeping-thoughts and I came up with this:
We like to characterize Legend as having nothing for a home; maybe he has his house, or Fable, or Ravio (its usually Ravio), but his home is always an empty place. Cuz we like it when he’s lonely, right angsters?
But I have a different perspective. In the alltp manga, Link has this apple orchard with his uncle and at the end his manga-only friend Ghanti comes and lives there with him. And it gave me this idea, what if his home wasn’t empty, but full?
Ghanti, who loves walking in the orchard and playing with children.
His grandparents from the oracle mangas, who are still alive and well. Their grandson needs them; he’s lost so many people (they can tell that at least) so they rent out their fields and move in with him.
Dimitri the friendly dodongo, Moosh the flying blue bear, Ricky the boxing kangaroo. Link really did them a service back in Holodrum, it would be a shame to leave him alone~
The ever-present thorn in his side Ravio, who is still running business out of his house, but hey he keeps the hearth warm and makes a mean chocolate chip cookie.
Piyoko the magical talking cucco. She may like Link a lot but she still has a mean peck!
And then the three oracles are always dropping by, Zelda loves to come for a moment of peace, Irene and Maple are always flying by to chat for a moment, Impa loves to visit and grump about the state of his house.
Even Seres sometimes knocks with a casserole, Gulley occasionally plays pranks on him at unholy hours of the morning, Ralph will drop in with Nayru and berate him.
And under his bed is a box, a box filled with things that bring a mixture of joy and grief. The threadbare, child-sized clothes his mother made for him in the Dark World. His uncle’s waistcoat that still smells of him. An ocarina next to a pressed hibiscus that came from the bush newly planted next to his door.
He keeps them to remind himself that he was loved, that he was loved so very deeply and wonderfully. And the pain of that love isn’t gone yet, but with every one of Ghanti’s steps, of Ravio’s smirks, of Moosh’s nudges, of every unique knock on his door, it lessens slightly.
Just—Legend being so loved.
EDIT: This is a series now! Twilight Time

FEATURE: Meet the Stars of Princess Connect Re:Dive
Going into Princess Connect! Re:Dive, I knew little about it other than the fact that it was an adaptation of a mobile game. That didn’t bode well; my experiences with video game adaptations have been less than positive.
Imagine my surprise, then, when it turned out to be hilarious. When a pair of ridiculous-looking wolves started dragging off our protagonist, I completely lost it. I found myself constantly laughing at the KONOSUBA-esque humor — it was only much later that I’d learn that Princess Connect and KONOSUBA shared the same director. It was also well-animated and delivered some impressive-looking action scenes and spell effects.
At the end of the day, however, this is a comedy anime through and through. And comedy anime live and die on the basis of their voice acting. Unsurprising, then, that Princess Connect features an all-star voice cast, with the actors from the mobile game reprising their roles in the anime. Let’s take a look at some of the talented voice actors that bring the characters of Princess Connect, both the game and the anime, to life.
Pecorine (M·A·O)
Mao Ichimichi, also known as M·A·O, is probably better known for her non-anime roles — she started off her career in tokusatsu (live-action often with heavy special effects), most notably playing Luka Millfy in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. She later ventured into anime voice acting. She voices the cheerful and energetic (and perpetually hungry) Pecorine in Princess Connect. She has also voiced Iris in Fire Force, Luluco in Space Patrol Luluco, Hondomachi in ID:Invaded, Vorona in Durarara, Bela in Bem, and Remi Ayasaki in the currently-airing Horimiya.
Kokkoro (Miku Ito)
This isn’t the first time Miku Ito has played a character named Kokoro, having played the character of the same name in the BanG Dream! franchise. Her most well-known role is probably that of her own namesake: Miku from The Quintessential Quintuplets. Her other roles include Shimamura from Adachi and Shimamura, Ann Akagi from Action Heroine Cheer Fruits (in which she starred alongside fellow Princess Connect actor M·A·O), and Nana Mifune in Gleipnir.
Karyl (Rika Tachibana)
Rika Tachibana has an extensive voice acting career in video games, featuring in such titles as Granblue Fantasy, Magia Record, The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, Street Fighter V, and of course Princess Connect, where she plays Karyl. Tachibana’s anime voice acting roles include Sae Kobayakawa from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, Reiko from Shomin Sample, Naruse from The Island of Giant Insects — in which she starred alongside ... you guessed it ... M·A·O — and African Wild Dog from Kemono Friends.
Yuuki (Atsushi Abe)
Our main protagonist Yuuki may not say much, but Atsushi Abe manages to make whatever little he says absolutely hilarious. Abe garnered widespread recognition for his role as Touma Kamijou in A Certain Magical Index and its spinoffs. His other roles include Moritaka Mashiro in Bakuman, Koichi Sakakibara in Another, Takashi in B Gata H Kei, Akiyuki in Xam’d: Lost Memories, Soya in Planet With, Inojin Yamanaka in Boruto, and Sougo in IDOLISH7.
Kaiser Insight (Shouta Aoi)
It is not uncommon for female voice actors to voice male roles, especially younger characters. But male voice actors voicing female roles? Extremely rare. Shouta Aoi’s unique, “angelic” voice allows him to do so, with him voicing main Princess Connect villain Kaiser Insight. Aoi is better known as a singer, but he made his voice acting breakthrough as Ai Mikaze in Uta no Prince-sama. Since then, he has voiced Hideaki Tojo in Ace of the Diamond, Licht in The Royal Tutor, and will voice Subaru in the upcoming adaptation of Tokyo Babylon.
Maho (Maaya Uchida)
Maho is considered by the other Princess Connect characters to be slightly delusional, so of course she is voiced by Maaya Uchida, best-known as the voice of out-of-touch characters like Rikka from Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions and Ranko Kanzaki from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. Her non-delusional roles include Yoshioka from Blue Spring Ride, Norman from The Promised Neverland, Yuki Yoshino from Food Wars, and Catarina Claes from My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom.
Miyako (Sora Amamiya)
I mentioned earlier how Princess Connect feels incredibly KONOSUBA-esque, both in its setting and its sense of humor. Makes perfect sense, then, for it to feature the voice of Sora Amamiya, known for voicing “useless” goddess Aqua from KONOSUBA. Amamiya’s other notable roles include Elizabeth from The Seven Deadly Sins, Touka from Tokyo Ghoul, Akame from Akame ga Kill, Kaori from One Week Friends, Isla from Plastic Memories, and Asseylum from Aldnoah.Zero.
Hiyori (Nao Toyama)
Nao Toyama played her first major role as Kanon Nakagawa in The World God Only Knows, which kickstarted her music career. Many people also know her as Yui Yuigahama in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, or Chitoge Kirisaki in Nisekoi. However, the role for which I personally recognise her the most is as the quiet Rin Shima in Laid-Back Camp. Other major roles include Karen in KINMOZA!, Ruka in Rent-a-Girlfriend, and Nozomi in Sound! Euphonium.
Suzume (Aoi Yuki)
Aoi Yuki has been earning plaudits this season for her energetic portrayal of the titular spider in So I’m a Spider, So What? Yuki has had many significant voice roles over the years, including Madoka from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Tanya in Saga of Tanya the Evil, Froppy in My Hero Academia, Tamaki in Fire Force, Diane in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Mami in Rent-a-Girlfriend.
Rei (Saori Hayami)
Saori Hayami is one of the most in-demand voice actors of recent times. She is known for portraying Yukino Yukinoshita in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, and received considerable praise for her performance as Shoko Nishimiya in A Silent Voice. Her other notable roles include Shirayuki in Snow White with the Red Hair, Shinobu in Demon Slayer, Tsuruko in AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day, Yumeko Jabami in Kakegurui, and Himawari in Boruto.
Jun (Ayako Kawasumi)
Jun is a classic knight in metal armor. And who better to voice a knight than Ayako Kawasumi, best known as the voice of Saber in various installments of the Fate franchise. Kawasumi is also a talented pianist, which explains her role as Nodame in Nodame Cantabile. Some of her other major roles include Fuu in Samurai Champloo, Erina Pendleton in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Alice in Pandora Hearts, Melfina in Outlaw Star, Natsuki in Initial D, and Lafiel in Crest of the Stars.
Io (Shizuka Ito)
Shizuka Ito won a “Best Actress in Supporting Roles” award at the 10th Seiyuu Awards for her performances as Meiko Shiraki in Prison School and Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal. Some of her other major performances are as Himawari in xxxHolic, Ran in Texhnolyze, Kaori Kanzaki in A Certain Magical Index, Boota and Darry in Gurren Lagann, Yayoi in Psycho-Pass, Rei Hasekura in Maria Watches Over Us, and Hinagiku in Hayate the Combat Butler.
Yui (Risa Taneda)
Risa Taneda is undoubtedly best known for her roles as Erina Nakiri in Food Wars and Kaori Miyazono in Your Lie in April. But to me, she will always be Saki from Shin Sekai Yori, where she delivered an excellent performance spanning many ages, and performed the first ending song too. Taneda’s other significant roles include Rize in Is the Order a Rabbit?, Mirai in Beyond the Boundary, Yukina in Strike the Blood, Ai Mizuno in Zombie Land Saga, Xenovia in High School DxD, and Yukari in YUYUSHIKI.
Labyrista (Miyuki Sawashiro)
Miyuki Sawashiro is one of the most prolific voice actors of all time. She first came to prominence as the voice of Puchiko in Di Gi Charat; she famously reprised the role in the English dub of Leave it to Piyoko, becoming the first anime voice actor to voice the same character in both sub and dub. A few of Sawashiro’s other major roles include Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter, Celty Sturluson in Durarara, Bishamon in Noragami, Fujiko Mine in recent installments of Lupin the Third, and Kanbaru in the Monogatari series.
Aoi (Kana Hanazawa)
Kana Hanazawa needs no introduction, being one of the most popular voice actors of our times. She rose to popularity as Nadeko in Bakemonogatari and its sequels, performing the iconic opening song “Renai Circulation.” Some of her other anime roles include Akane from Psycho-Pass, Mayuri from Steins;Gate, Angel from Angel Beats, Kosaki Onodera from Nisekoi, Hinata Kawamoto from March Comes in Like a Lion, Kuroneko from Oreimo, and Ichika from The Quintessential Quintuplets.

5 Old and Nearly Forgotten Manga and Anime Series
1. Patalliro!
Patalliro was a manga series that first started in 1978, which would then become an anime series that aired from 1982 to 1983 with 49 episodes, and even a movie.
The series took place in a fictional country called ‘Malynera’, and took place in a futuristic version of the year 2015 (remember that the series started in 1978). The main character of the series is a 10 year old boy named Patalliro du Malyner VIII, who becomes the king of Malynera and is often protected by two bodyguards: Jack Barbarosa Bancoran and Maraich Juschenfe. While being the ruler of an entire country, Patalliro also causes mischief and becomes a thorn in the sides of Bancoran and Maraich...but Patalliro also proves to be a competent and intellectual leader as well.
The series was a bit ahead of its time as it featured same-sex romance between men, especially between Bancoran and Maraich. The series wa also known for its witty humor, innuendos, slapstick, and is one of the longest running manga series. The manga has still not ended and has over 101 volumes...though recent ones have not yet been translated into English.
The anime series was, for a while, difficult to find... Especially since the anime had not been aired on television for many years. But now the episodes can be found online today. There is even a spin-off called, Patalliro Saiyuiki!, which is a parody of the story: Journey to the West. A stage musical based off the series was made in Japan in 2018.
2. Di Gi Charat
Di Gi Charat is a manga that started in 1998 and was adapted into several animes: Di Gi Charat (1999-2001), Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat (2002), Leave it to Piyoko-pyo! (2003), Di Gi Charat Nyo! (2003-2004), and Winter Garden OVA (2006).
The series focuses on Princess Dejiko, the princess of planet Di Gi Charat, who comes to Earth to train to become a proper princess. She is accompanied by her friend Puchiko and servant Gema. She ends up befriending other humans and becomes a rival to the self-proclaimed idol: Robi~en~Rose/Hikaru Usada. Dejiko is not very princess-like, as she is crude, wild, impolite and lazy.
The series is well-known for its humor, random storylines, and interesting characters. While it may seem like random nonsense, it also still makes sense in a way. The series could also be seen as a parody of the Magical Girl trope, as Dejiko has the qualities of a Magical Girl...but is still far from the ideal character-type.
While the story changes with each anime series, some parts remain the same but just take place in a different time and location. All of the anime series can be found online, as well as the manga...though recent chapters may be difficult to find. Sega Dreamcast developed a game called, Di Gi Charat Fantasy, which was only available in Japan and also had a storyline different from the manga and anime.
3. Kocchi Muite! Miiko
Kocchi Muite! Miiko is a manga series that first started in 1995, and was developed into an anime in 1998.
The series depicts the life of ‘Miiko Yamada’, a tomboyish girl who often gets into mischief with her friends. It is a simple and cute story that depicts the innocence of childhood, as children often get caught up in adventure and mischief.
Both the manga and anime are very hard to find, as not all of the chapters have been uploaded on any manga websites. The episodes of the anime are also nearly impossible to find, and are yet to be easily available on any websites.
Hopefully, it will become easier to find in the near future.
4. Great Teacher Onizuka
Great Teacher Onizuka is a manga that went on from 1997-2002, was made into an anime in 1998, and became a live-action series in 2012 and 2014.
The series tells the story of ex-delinquent Eikichi Onizuka, who decides to become a teacher. Onizuka is a wild, perverted jokester who is not exactly teacher material. However...Onizuka just may be the best teacher that anyone could ever have. After being hired at the prestigious Holy Forest Academy, Onizuka is assigned to teach a class filled with students who go to great lengths to get their teachers fired. But no matter what they do, Onizuka never quits and proves to be a great challenge for his troublesome students. In the end, he teaches his students life lessons through ways that no teacher could ever think of doing. Even though the entire school board wants him gone, he is not the type to back down and will even teach the adults a thing or two about being a good teacher.
This series is well-known for its drama and depiction of a strict school system, filled with corruption and conspiracy against those who seem unfit to be teachers. The series also depicts the effects that bullying, violence, family problems, and suicide can have on a school and its students. While the series can be a bit controversial...it can also teach you a thing or two on how a teacher should be when it comes to their students.
Both the manga and anime can be easily found online.
5. Hanada Shonen Shi
Hanada Shonen Shi is a manga that went on from 1993-1995, and was developed into an anime that aired from 2002-2003.
The series tells the story of a troublesome boy named ‘Hanada Ichiro’, who lives in a small village and is known for causing trouble. After being hit by a car and almost dying, Hanada gains the ability to see and talk to ghosts, who come to him to help them with their unfinished business so that they can move on into the afterlife.
The series is known for its crude humor, but also light-hearted drama as it features a mischievous boy who now must help ghosts move on. It is perfect for those who love supernatural anime, but also like comedy and slice-of-life.
While not all of the chapters of the manga are available, you can find the anime series online.

Aah Hi guys!
Just wanted to post to apologize for this blog being so dead. I haven't really had motivation to write and I've been doing other life things at the moment. I closed my ask box for now to keep from getting more prompts since I feel bad that I haven't even gotten to the 72 that are in there.
I'm sort of hanging out on my personal blog (piyoko-tatsan) and my twitter (you'll have to dm me for that if you want it). I'm trying to get back my writing motivation! I'm testing the waters on another blog unrelated to bnha and writing some stuff on my computer :)
I also am sorry for leaving my fic with out any updates but. I dont want to give you bad content! So I sort of put it on a hiatus with this blog.
Anyway. To get to the main point if you dont feel like reading all of that:
The blog is still on hiatus due to feeling unmotivated! But thanks for sticking around and reaching 9,000 followers! You're all the best! 💖

Miyuki Sawashiro: Translated Stuff
This is PART THREE of a bunch of posts for Miyuki Sawashiro’s birthday.
General Info:
Please note that I’m not fluent in Japanese. All these resources are in English and can be checked out for yourself! I also can’t search as deeply as some Japanese fans might be able to. If I one day become efficient enough to get more information, I might add to this!
Miyuki Sawashiro (沢城 みゆき) was born June 2, 1985, and was previously working under Mausu Production but is currently affiliated with Aoni Production (has been since 2015). She has a younger brother named Chiharu Sawashiro (who happens to be a seiyuu as well). She works as a seiyuu, actress, and narrator and debuted at age 14. Her hometown is Tokyo, she got married on her birthday to a man outside of the industry and is celebrating her 5th anniversary today as well (married June 2, 2014). She has one child and is 5′1″ (156cm).
She is one of the very few Japanese voice artists who can speak English. She has shown her English speaking skill on a number of occasions, both in Japan and in overseas conventions. Sawashiro Miyuki also did the English dubbing of Leave it to Piyoko, a Di Gi Charat original series, reprising her role as Puchiko. During high school, she enrolled in a homestay program in Pennsylvania for two weeks. In her panel at Anime Expo 2011 hosted by Danny Choo, she also mentioned that she enjoys practising her English during her visits to New York to watch Musicals.

So Di Gi Charat is getting an “ultimate collection” DVD/Blu-Ray soon, and when I first heard about it, I was excited.
Now that I see that it’s just the previous Sentai Filmworks releases on one DVD set (the original 1999 series, the specials, and Winter Garden), it’s kind of disappointing. We still don’t have A Trip to The Planet on DVD despite Broccoli advertising a US release in the mid-2000s, and Leave it to Piyoko-Pyo! has been out of print for years. I have no idea why Broccoli/Madhouse aren’t giving Sentai Filmworks the rights or if they just haven’t been interested in them. Not really much of an “ultimate” release, honestly. Since I have 2/3 of what’s on the set (I haven’t gotten Winter Garden yet and it already has a R1 release on it’s own), I’m gonna sit it out.
(And while it’s not including Panyo Panyo or Nyo!, those are separate series. The “ultimate collection” is made up of 1/2 of the “Wonderful Version” incarnation plus the two-episode Winter Garden. I don’t think Sentai has either Panyo Panyo or Nyo!, despite their logo for the series being based of the ADV logo for Panyo Panyo. While Panyo Panyo’s complete set is out of print, it’s pretty easy to find online. Bandai on the other hand never finished Nyo!)

tagged by @ameliabedeliagoesonline to list 10 favorite female characters from 10 different fandoms so here’s some late night ramblings ~
rue/princess kraehe - princess tutu (DELIA I’M GONNA TRY TO BE VAGUE ABOUT THIS TO NOT SPOIL PRINCESS TUTU FOR U LMAO) god i love rue? so much? i love how she’s written as cool on the outside and beautiful but manipulative and jealous but vulnerable and scared but redeemable and loving, and that the story doesn’t just throw her away. she keeps fucking up bc she’s just trying to stop things from changing, like any girl would do if the one you love started slowly slipping away from you because of someone else. she thinks she’s got it under control but she’s only so many steps away from crumbling...... god i love rue
xion - kingdom hearts aaaaaaaa xion made such a big impact on me as a kid. kh days was my first kh game so i was very attached to the roxas/axel/xion narrative and the pain that is xion being erased by the end of the game. i especially love how she’s characterized in the kh days manga, the way she feels like a teenaged girl really stood out to me for some reason. there’s this scene where she’s with roxas and axel and they’re talking about something and i think at this point she knows something’s sus about her existing in the first place, so when roxas asks her what’s wrong she just kinda passive-aggressively replies? she’s like, oh, yeah, because you two are such good friends. but there’s layers to the fact that she feels like she doesn’t belong and i love how that plays into the plot later in the game
panty anarchy - panty & stocking uh i’ve had a big ol crush on panty since i first watched psg in 2012 but i’m only now able to admit it lmfao. i...... love.... her........ i love how she owns being a bitch, but also how even though she’s not a perfect person at all she’s still not like completely heartless either. i don’t think i have anything more profound to say about her because it’s psg lmao..... so yeah idk she’s hot? i love her design? i love that she’s dubbed by jamie marchi? i love d. city rock? dfjhgsd
chibiusa - sailor moon i am rini!!!! i swear to god!!!! like ok of course i loved rini as a kid bc she’s the one with the pink hair (my favorite color) and she reminded me of me (my sister is a witness she can verify i literally am rini dfjkhgskdhf) but also now having read sailor moon i just resonate with her whole ass character arc? wanting to grow up into a well-composed and respected Lady but being aware of your shortcomings and being frustrated and insecure about it? not being taken seriously because you’re the kid? yeah.
spinel - steven universe uuughhhhhh other friends & drift away broke me. the past four years of my life was just me being angry and sad about being replaced and left behind by someone i’d trusted, so when the su movie dropped like literally it couldn’t have been better timing. aren’t you tired of being Nice? don’t you just wanna go apeshit, especially since the way you were apparently wasn’t good enough so might as well not be good at all? yeah.
marinette/ladybug - miraculous ladybug oh mari means so much to me!!! truly!!!! (i say that knowing full well i haven’t watched ml in like almost a year lmfao oops i’ll catch up soon i swear) but i just love the marinette/ladybug dynamic, like she’s a goofball and absolutely cannot function around her crush but she’s still a genuine person and then ALSO she can pull her shit together when she needs to do some superhero saving. i just want the best for her. I’m Care Her
wanda maximoff/scarlet witch - marvel my love for wanda has a lot to do with the timing of me getting into marvel comics/mcu/x-men: evolution being around a messy time in high school for me so i kinda just projected onto wanda hard (so hard that i even made a sona whose character is literally she wants to be the scarlet witch lmao!) it’s also just kinda hard to talk about what i love about wanda when there are those three versions of her i mostly think of... i love mcu wanda’s tragedy in losing those closest to her, i love x-men:evolution wanda’s weirdly super goth design and her conflicting dynamic with pietro, and i really loved the 2015-2016 scarlet witch series of comics. i loved that it focused on her dissonance with who she thought she was up to this point and how much learning that she’s not a mutant affected her (i mean i don’t love that she’s not a mutant but whatever that’s a whole other rant entirely), so she puts herself to work on this whole witch thing like hey this is the New Me while simultaneously still running away from the shame and disappointments of her past.
piyoko - di gi charat my daughter! my sweet eight-year-old panda daughter who must absolutely be protected by her three Big Boy Bodyguards as they try to take over the world. that’s it that’s the whole dynamic of Leave It To Piyoko and i loved it as a kid and i love it now oh my GOD have you seen this opening that’s the mid 2000s i-found-this-from-a-local-dvd-rental-place shit i MISS
korra - legend of korra wacky writing issues concerning the whole show itself aside, i love korra as a character a lot. i’m definitely biased because the show aired from 8th grade to junior year hs for me and something about that timing just made watching korra grow and struggle and change really stick with me. oh and the fact that she and asami helped me realize i’m bi lmao.
rapunzel - tangled my favorite disney princess from my favorite disney movie! especially when i was younger, i too resonated as an artist held up inside dreaming of seeing the world beyond my confinement but not able to because mother knows best

So Miyuki Sawashiro (Jolyne’s ASB & EoH VA) is fluent in English, and has dubbed over in English a character she has done in the original Japanese.
Now learning this i thought i can raise the possibility of Sawashiro doing the English voice for Jolyne by finding an example of her English work... but the problem is is that the ONE English role i can find of her is in an old (2003) obscure OVA (Leave it to Piyoko!) where her character hardly ever speaks and is a very soft-spoken little girl-type of character so. so much for that
i’ll drop an embed of the video here so you (i) can find it for reference later though it’s not much. Sawashiro voices Petit Charat (the small brown-haired cat-girl that accompanies the green-haired cat-girl). it’s embedded with the playlist of the dubbed episodes so you can try looking for other parts where she speaks because i’m too tired to look up more info after all this
