Our current family favourite board game - Charterstone! A legacy style board game, the game evolves through the campaign! Our first time playing a legacy game. Been an awesome experience so far! Our first game lasted three hours, subsequent two games were about two hours per game. Kids enjoyed it so much they wanted to play too games in a row last night! So, we started having a score book to record all the scores of the games that we play coz I thought it'd be fun to record our gameplay so we could analyse the results to see how we can improve. Also, we can see how the kids better their scores over each game, over time. However, the kids just enjoy having the record to show them as winners 😆. Traditionally, I'd been the score recorder but of late, Shawna has eagerly volunteered herself for the job. I'd had to battle myself internally over wanting to have perfectly (in my opinion) tabled scores if I do it myself, versus letting Shawna do it and have some math practice in the process. Math won out! After meeting the designer of Wongamania on Saturday, the first game the boys asked to play yesterday afternoon was Wongamania!
