i made this post before but i deleted it cuz i didnt want folks reblogging but a word about language surrounding physical deformities in fictional characters:

if you make cheeky jokes and fun little nicknames for characters who are scarred/deformed/disfigured ect that are based on their deformities and you do not have those then like... idk think about how it feels to be someone who’s a little messed up to hear a character being reduced to their injuries and defects that mirror ur own.

My face is paralysed on one side and it fucks me up whenever people say weird shit about characters with facial scarring and disfigurements and the like, even like, Lazy eye jokes make me so sad! It’s just really mean...

I havent seen it much in the neo fandom yet but like.. idk pls think about other humans on this planet who are reading what you’re saying. Be nice.
