Tar was wearing a dress now - a dress! - and shoes that would for sure murder her feet at some point. Amelia had never been wearing those shoes. But Martha Jones had, if she was remembering right.
“Alright....” she looked around, bascially just following the Doctor since he was the one who’d wanted to come here in first place. Or so Tardis thought at least. “What would you like to do now? Like people usually do... small talk and such things, right? I just would have no clue what to talk about with them, I fear. I am sorry.”

@lcnelygcd, continued from here
The Doctor had been wandering the town, trying to decide what he should wear for the ball, of course a tux but he wasn’t sure if he should go with a bow tie because it was traditional, a tie, or neither but he knew he needed to get a corsage for Rose or whatever those things were that seemed traditional for humans when it came to dances. He wasn’t paying attention to where he was going, instead looking at the shops that lined the sidewalk. It wasn’t until someone almost ran into him or he ran into them that his eyes were drawn from the stores.
“Non opus deprecarentur. Et non attendentes. Licuit mihi?” he replied to her with a gentle but concerned smile.
Lilly blinked in surprise when she heard the man speak to her. Honestly, she wasn’t expecting him to speak in Latin. The voices she heard from the rest of the town were anything but, but far too distant to try to figure out what they were saying. But he made it easy.
“Bene sum. Confuse tantum. Quid est hoc?“ She looked around the place, still confused. Everything from the ship to, even this man, in his strange clothes yet speaking her language. She looked down to her dress, suddenly aware that it looked like it had been worn for years at a time, not to mention way outdated compared to what he was wearing. Just how long had she slept?
