I am once again asking why El bleeds in NINA and makes the lights go blinky after uncovering the memory(?) of throwing Henry through the mirror

she always gets nosebleeds in her water tanks, but that's because she's in the void or piggybacking all the other times, and the bleeding and electrical interference in those scenes is from her using her powers.

so why does it happen in NINA? does just remembering stuff constitute power use? it's not quite the same as being in the void, is it?

her eyes are closed. she's not even watching the screens. she's doing something, isn't she?

we've rarely seen her bleed from both nostrils, that's only for when she's doing something very strenuous in relation to her power level (killing the guards in s1, closing the gate in 2). and she's supposed to be stronger than ever now, and usually more power = less bleeding, so bleeding from both nostrils at this point suggests she's doing some heavy lifting.

given that time shenanigans are so likely on the table, is it possible that current El isn't a mere spectator to the NINA memories but an active participant? could she somehow be.... channeling power to...? her past self? affecting past events.... or something? (I mean as a NINA feature she's unaware of, not that El is like "oh also I'm a time traveler btw")
