Okay well first of all this can’t be hiding in notes lol:
AHHH HEMMM! @thoughtfulbearpanda 😘
My first thought was that flowers + flame colors = Faye’s wildcrafting but that’s not new new. Like, we’ve heard about it but not seen it. So it must be something else?
Morgaine magic makes sense too but we’ve also seen a bit of their construct casting, so that’s not new new either.
So far we have humans who cast/manipulate aether/root & demons who need aether/root to survive on this plane. We haven’t seen any Fae/Fairy anything so who knows if that’s part of her magical worldbuilding in TLC but that’s my guess! There are a few people who I think could be connecting to fairies: Isaac (slight points to his ears are mentioned but never discussed again!) & Larkin (his tattoos are flower-like & his Da sounds both nicer & by his own statements more connected to “the old ways” than other Merlins we’ve seen.) Also we haven’t met Anna (Nick’s mom) yet! She could definitely be fae but that theory comes more from the source material than from the books themselves.
Can’t wait to hear others’ theories!
Ah Legendborn people we have some crumbs from Tracy’s latest story on instagram!
What do you think is about?? My guess is it might be the Morgaines? Or something totally different!!
tagging some people to discuss it with// @justbrainrot @thoughtfulbearpanda @thepsychicaliennextdoor

This is for pure self indulgence, but here're what FFXIV race each ninja would be, the jobs they'd main if they played FFXIV and how they play the game
Kai would be a raen Au Ra. He'd main black mage (cuz FIAAAAAH!!! And EXPLOSIONS). Would be into pvp, but he'd mostly just challenge the others to duals (poor Jay is his practice dummy). If you have Kai on your team in pvp, prepare for carnage and victory, this man doesn't hold back against anyone, friend or foe. Note to ninja, don't mess with Kai ingame. Can and will purposely cause chaos on raid night, mostly by baiting attacks at others (mostly Jay) much to Cole's dismay.
Jay would be a keeper of moon Miqo'te. He'd main ninja (sadly ff14 has no jobs with nunchucks as the weapon so ninja it is. I mean it fit's because he is a ninja plus he can use lightning attacks). When being casual he'll play machinist. Would be into rp, drags Nya along on some romantic in game dates. Takes the best gposes despite playing on console. Nerds out with Lloyd and Cole about the msq and theories and what will happen next. He got everyone to play FFXIV with him so everyone could have some fun and relax when not doing ninja business. Is the leader of the FC they all made (the Fast Chickenz)
Zane would be a duskwhite Elezen. He'd main astrologian (because Zane often has visions of the future and astrologians in ff14 lore see and predict the future with the stars). He's the main healer and an omnicrafter, has the most gil out of everyone. He's always crafting up to date gear for everyone so they're always ready for their weekly raid night. Always calls out mechanics, but tends to focus too much on keeping everyone alive to do some dps and the boss enrages. But no one can stay mad at Zane, especially since he can and will rescue them into an aoe without hesitation if he's annoyed at someone (usually Kai or Jay)
Cole would be a dunesfolk Lalafell (because I think the contrast is hilarious, the one with super strength is 2'10). He'd main warrior (he's the tankiest ninja + only job that asociates with earth, it's lb3 is literally conjuring up a mountain to protect allies) and is the groups main tank. When he doesn't feel like tanking, he'll play monk and reaper (Earth punch, syche, enshroud = ghost!cole). He's a very casual player, often doing things at his own pace. Enjoys doing the msq and sidecontent and finds the story enjoyable (he did tear up a bit going through EW for the first time, then again everyone did). Leads the ninja's static, going over mechanics and strats, has a notebook filled with notes on raid mechs.
Lloyd would be a midlander Hyur. He'd main summoner. Gets really into the story and lore of the game, and makes up some crazy but liable theories. His WoL is a self insert, and he's attached to all the Scions (G'raha is his favourite because he relates to him the most. Having a destiny you didn't ask for dictate your whole life, having the weight of the world on your shoulders, strange unaturally coloured eyes tied to mysterious powers they've inherited). His carbuncles have nicknames and he often calls them out whenever he summons them, the others find it adorable.
Nya would be a raen Au Ra. She'd main dragoon, but switches it up often with samurai (being greedy dps runs in the family) and gunbreaker whenever Cole want's to play dps. She's a jack of all trades when it comes to what she does in game, one moment she'll be in a fronline match with Kai, then she's doing some in character rp with Jay, gathering materials for Zane to craft some new gunbreaker gear so she can co-tank with Cole when raid night comes up, taking Lloyd through some msq dungeons for the first time and handing the green bean a tissiue or two when he's watching an emotional cutscene. Most of the time she's afk in her fancy small sized private house she was lucky to snag while working on some techy stuff with Pixal and Jay.
#ninjago#ffxiv#kai smith#jay walker#zane julien#cole brookstone#lloyd garmadon#nya smith#ninjago headcanons#ninja in eorzea#this is for pure self indulgence#maybe ill mess around in character creator and make the ninja#i already made a jay alt on seraph

Just realized I never posted this during LB3 despite the fact that I had some very Thematic Brainwaves about my Mastersona, Yu, Koyanskaya and of course Diarmuid. Under the read more if you are interested -
Koyanskaya savored the looks on their faces as they beheld the vial.
One dose of antidote. The only contingency plan.
It didn’t take long for the realization to sink in, but Koyanskaya quickly added, “Oh, and don’t even think about splitting it between the pair of you. The poison is well-integrated into your system now. You’ll require the full dosage if you even hope to have a chance at surviving.”
Goredolf’s pale, sweating face was a special treat. Either he was a bigger idiot than Koyanskaya had thought, or he was a true mage, who didn’t realize that Zoe Venier would probably let him take the antidote without much fuss if he only had the sense to ask.
Poor girl, Koyanskaya thought, smiling faintly as she watched Zoe attempt to school her features into stoicism. It didn’t come naturally to her, that was for sure. She was a quiet girl, normally, though she’d been known to display quite the temper. But in the face of her own death... Oh, she was frightened. Even after all this time, after all she’d survived. Perhaps she was more frightened than ever before.
But the ensuing squabble quickly lost its spice for Koyanskaya. Goredolf suggested that they duel with rock-paper-scissors. Zoe, with a wry, faint smile, accepted. While they haggled over terms, Koyanskaya decided that she ought not to waste her time. Bound, sitting in the dirt, surrounded by enemies, fresh out of the eternal Shi Huangdi’s torture chambers - it wasn’t like she had anything else to do but gather more intel in her condition. Even if she would inevitably turn against Chaldea later, she should learn all she could about such a valuable client.
There were many Servants with Zoe this time - a surprising number, actually, considering the amount of mana it would likely take to sustain them. Given her present condition, she surely was feeling the strain of it. But of the motley crew, there was only one that Koyanskaya didn’t really know yet.
And just her luck, he stood over her side, guarding her.
Diarmuid ua Duibhne, Lancer. According to the records that they’d obtained from Chaldea, he was one of Zoe Venier’s original three Servants. He was not spectacular, a thoroughly average hero from an obscure legend. Koyanskaya wasn’t in the business of underestimating anyone but even she took one look at his perfect, beautiful face and dismissed him.
But he’d changed.
He had not disappeared, nor had Zoe re-summoned him. He had simply changed at some point, not long after Koyanskaya had left the Scandinavian Lostbelt. Rather than the famous twin spears, he now carried two blades, one of which was nearly as tall as he was and radiated a positively demonic aura. His combat parameters seemed to have expanded somewhat due to the class change, but otherwise, there was nothing different about him. But a normal Servant changing themselves was impossible, and this was doubly true for Diarmuid ua Duibhne, who had been defined by his curses, if by nothing else.
Koyanskaya had been wrong to ignore him, that was for sure.
But she was big enough to admit that. Now it was time to have some fun.
Eyeing him, she spoke with a sweet idleness. “You know, I really have to wonder if she’s feeling the affects of the poison or not.”
Diarmuid kept his eyes squarely on Zoe. It didn’t take a genius detective to know that she was his ultimate weakness, in all the ways that mattered.
“I mean,” Koyanskaya continued, with a smile. “What’s her body count at now? Well, the last one is easy, just ten thousand, but we never did get an accurate estimate of the Yaga population, come to think of it. Does it count if they were technically beasts? What do you think?”
He didn’t even react to her words. It was not in Koyanskaya’s nature to crave attention from beautiful men, but the silent treatment annoyed her. It almost wounded her pride.
“In any case, do you want to hear my theory?” Koyanskaya looked up, putting all her weight into her gaze. “I think that - despite all the blood on her hands - Zoe simply believes that everything she’s done has been completely justified. That’s why she isn’t showing any symptoms. Can you imagine? Obliterating entire worlds, entire cultures, erasing it from existence, from memory. For that not to bother her in the slightest - it’s chilling! Do you think that maybe she even enjoys - “
“It seems to me,” said Diarmuid, “that you fundamentally misunderstand who we are.”
Koyanskaya smiled. “Oh?”
“For example,” Diarmuid went on, still watching Zoe and Goredolf. They were nearly ready to begin their matches now. “When you mocked the Director before, I thought you had simply picked him out to be an easy target. Someone with his disposition must be child’s play for you, naturally. But now you’ve admitted that you don’t understand the first thing about Zoe, either.”
“Why, perish the thought!” Koyanskaya simpered, baring her teeth in a wicked grin. “I pride myself on my information-gathering efforts, you know.”
Diarmuid shrugged. “I would have assumed that you weren’t capable of understanding humanity, given what you are. But if you can’t even grasp the basics about someone like Zoe, then maybe we don’t need to be worried about you after all.”
But this was too good to be true. Koyanskaya tried to think back - had she ever revealed to Chaldea that she was a Beast? Perhaps Holmes had figured it out, or even the little Da Vinci, but this was the first time they had all been together since Shi Huangdi had separated the group, and they were preoccupied with the antidote. There was no way that Diarmuid could have known her true nature, unless he had recognized it on his own.
“I guess that’s true,” said Koyanskaya. “I wouldn’t know her nearly as well as someone like you. After all, you’re her loyal Servant - the perfect knight who services her every need.”
At last, Diarmuid deigned to look at her. His expression was withering. Not outright murderous, but he definitely contemplated the idea of drawing his swords. And in her current condition, Moralltach might even damage her if he really threw his weight into the strike. But naturally, he wouldn’t. His honor wouldn’t allow him to strike a prisoner, and to strike such a powerful blow would drain too much mana from his precious Zoe.
Speaking of which, they seemed to be at the last round. Zoe was patting Goredolf’s arm reassuringly as he blabbered.
“Look! They’re nearly done. Aren’t you going to stop them?”
Diarmuid sighed, and faced away from her again. “Forgive me, but may I ask if there’s a point to this conversation?”
“Obviously, Zoe wants to take the antidote herself,” said Koyanskaya, as if he hadn’t spoken. “She’s a pragmatist. I almost admire that about her, you know. But she’ll give the antidote to Goredolf out of fairness - because it’s the right thing to do - even though she knows as well as I do that Chaldea needs its only Master far more than it needs an oaf of a Director. And what? You’re just going to it back and let that happen?”
Predictably, Diarmuid replied. “In fact, her sense of honor is something that I greatly admire about her. And just because you do not recognize the Director’s value doesn’t mean he has none.”
Koyanskaya clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes. “Ugh, you’re like a fortress. Don’t you ever get tired of playing fair?”
When he didn’t answer her, Koyanskaya pretended to think about her next words for a moment.
“Hmm... well, I guess you’re not totally out of options. I guess if you’re going to let this antidote go to waste, you could always just take her to your father’s house if you can’t find another dose.”
The temperature seemed to drop ten degrees.
Got him, thought Koyanskaya, and smiled.
“Oh, no, dear me, you’re right,” Koyanskaya went on, barely concealing her elation. “That won’t do. Not really his wheelhouse, I’d say. Well, it’s not as if you don’t have other options. Though, come to think of it, you’ve never really been the type to introduce a girl to your family.”
Diarmuid was staring at her, his mouth a thin line, his eyes unfathomable.
Koyanskaya smirked back. “What? Don’t you think Aengus Og would be just thrilled to have guests? I hear it’s lovely in Tir na Nog this time of year. Well, it’s always lovely, but that’s beside the point, isn’t it?”
The temperature adjusted; Diarmuid’s expression stabilized, and became bored again.
“Congratulations,” he said. “Though I’m not sure what you hope to gain by lording this information over me. I have no power within Chaldea’s internal structure, and I won’t act without my Master’s permission.”
The sarcasm in his voice was simply delicious. Koyanskaya leaned in.
“What I don’t understand is why someone like you would become a Servant in the first place. Why surrender yourself to the Counter Force when you could spend an eternity in paradise? And it’s not as if you could possibly have any reasons to love humanity. You might not have as many curses as our mutual friend Yu, but...”
She waited eagerly for him to respond, but he simply regarded her carefully for a moment. Koyanskaya was thrilled to learn how smart he was. In fact, he suited his Master very well. Quiet and observant. The shadow of the blade. The steady right hand. And he was far less human than he’d allowed Chaldea to believe. Did Zoe even know the truth?
In any case, Koyanskaya hoped that Holmes was listening to their conversation.
“I have no reason to curse humanity,” came Diarmuid’s reply. “Again, you show a lack of understanding. I simply followed the natural course of my fate.”
Goredolf lost the final round of rock-paper-scissors, but Nezha and Mordred held him down so that Da Vinci could inoculate him anyway. While he blubbered thanks and took dramatic, gasping breaths, Koyanskaya watched Zoe Venier. Watched her smile disappear for a moment. Watched her push her glasses up her nose, and twirl a lock of her long hair around her fingers. For a moment, the Master of Chaldea was nothing but a sad, frightened little girl.
And if Koyanskaya had noticed, then surely, so had Diarmuid.
“Oh, what to do, what to do...?” she murmured. A giggle worked its way up her throat, and she had to suppress it. “Now, I say this with all possible manner of feminine delicacy - but you guys are royally fucked. Humanity’s a lost cause, and that’s even if you somehow manage to find a second antidote. Your merry band of heroes hasn’t even gotten to the real Lostbelts yet. If my half-assed assassination attempt can knock you back this far, then how do you expect to face the rest of the Crypters?”
“We’ve faced steep odds before. I have nothing but confidence in Zoe, and in our allies.”
Koyanskaya shook her head. “I seriously can’t believe you. You have a get-out-of-the-apocalypse-free card at your beck and call.”
“That’s not how it works.”
His voice contained a hard edge now. She’d touched a nerve.
“Then, enlighten me. Because you know as well as I do - taking Zoe into the Land of Youth would end all of this. What do you care for humanity’s survival? She would never suffer again. Isn’t that what you wish for?”
She saw his eyes glint, shift for a fraction of a second, and that was how she knew she’d won. No matter how noble he pretended to be, there was still a part of him that had understandable human instincts. Fortunately for his sake, Diarmuid was spared from answering as Zoe herself approached, to engage Koyanskaya in conversation regarding their upcoming plans.
The knight was quiet, and kept one eye on her constantly going forward.
All in all, Koyanskaya considered this a resounding success.

this is probably dumb as hell but i’ve always liked the idea of a smn/smn-adjacent wol calling up beefed up egis (borderline legit primals) as their lb3s like never mind the piddly little ‘teraflare’ you actually get as smn
call down actual bahamut to nuke the battlefield as dps. it’s predictable but fitting.
summon alexander for tank lb3. try damaging me when i’m in a protective bubble of antitime, fuckers. bonus points when you go back to do a12 and summon alexander against himself, causing a time paradox in the process.
motherfucking phoenix as heal lb3.

Am I a Shitty Healer?
A Very Basic Guide To When You Will Feel Like You Suck But It’s Actually Just Hard
The first job I ever picked up when I started playing FFXIV was White Mage. And I loved healing in this game enough to keep at it, but I found that there were a lot of places where I found myself struggling and really questioning if I was any good.
AS IT TURNS OUT... that’s pretty normal! So lest you find yourself questioning if you’re fit for healing when you’re getting into it for the first time, here’s a bunch of points at which you’ll probably find you’re having trouble. Don’t panic and think you suck... you’ll get through it with a lil perseverance and practice!
In ARR:
Stone Vigil
Aurum Vale
Dzemael Darkhold
The very first time you end up in these dungeons as an at-level healer, you might find yourself thinking you’re in hell. That’s normal. Focus on making sure you have properly upgraded gear, particularly for your main-hand and body slot! Don’t skip your class quests, either... they offer skills that you’ll definitely need.
Specifically, Stone Vigil has difficult AoEs, Aurum Vale’s got a difficult second Boss, and both Aurum Vale and Dzemael Darkhold have rooms where it’s easy to aggro a LOT of mobs while also having hazards that can deal damage. It’s good to focus on where you stand and how you move!
(Keeper of the Lake also sucks at level, and is tricky even when you get it in roulettes later... again, focus on having up to date gear, and try to read up on the boss mechanics before you head in for the first time!)
In HW:
The Vault
Final Steps of Faith
One of these is a dungeon, the other is a trail, but both are places at which you’ll find the difficulty of healing jumping a bit higher than you might expect. For the Vault, it’s extremely vital to make sure you have properly upgraded gear... the 130 ironworks gear won’t be enough anymore! For Final Steps, it’s quite helpful to read about the fight ahead of time, and really make sure you’re familiar with your aoe healing spells. It’s easier now, but it can be intimidating on your first time none the less... luckily, you have a co-healer to help out!
In SB:
The Pool of Tribute
Bardam’s Mettle
Castrum Abania
The Royal Menagerie
The Pool of Tribute is a trial, and an early one which can be difficult in part because it USUALLY TAKES... quite a while to finish. The attack patterns are rather predictable but because it goes on and on, people tend to get a bit messier in the later stages. Keep an eye on your MP!
Bardam’s Mettle and Castrum Abania are notable because the trash pulls in them hit like a truck. This is pretty common in stormblood dungeons, but don’t be afraid to ask your tank to take one pull at a time, because some of the more innocuous looking pulls can be surprisingly vicious.
The Royal Menagerie.... well, just don’t get discouraged if you find it difficult, try to practice not getting too focused on healing to the point of losing track of the fight around you, and having sprint on your bars will prove a useful tool.
So How Do I Get Better?
I couldn’t say too much... I know I’m definitely always improving in my own healing, too, and I’m still realizing things that make my life easier. However, I think there’s some basic things you can do as a healer to help yourself improve!
Read your Action Descriptions Carefully!
It’s easy to miss details unless you actually take a good look at what your actions do, and it’s always embarrassing to realize you were missing something. For example, WHM’s Assize also restores an amount of MP when you use it... AST’s Essential Dignity does MORE Healing if it’s used on a target with lower HP, and SCH’s Rouse makes your Fairy immune to some status ailments (useful if they’re in the path of a Morbol’s Breath!) You should have an idea of what your stances do as an Astrologian or what Fairy Actions Scholar’s have access to!
In addition, several times you’ll get ‘2′ versions of your existing healing spells... and it’s important to take a look at how they all function, since it’s not a simple case of always using the highest numbered heal you have! Benefic I and Cure I both save you a certain amount of MP and can proc special effects on Benefic II and Cure II, and Medica I and Helios do more raw healing than Medica II or Aspected Helios.
Consider your Role Actions according to what you do!
Some of the Healer skills are extremely vital, and you’ll want to have on your bars most of the time... others are very situational, and can depend on what you’re going to be running and what your style of healing is! For example, most groups will expect Protect at the start of runs, and Swiftcast is an absolute must-have for quick raises in battles...
But Esuna is also an extremely useful tool, and having it quick at hand when someone’s paralyzed or slowed is a great help, and getting in the habit of looking for esuna-able Debuffs is a good one to have.
As for other role actions, it’s great to know that SCH’s Deployment Tactics also spreads Eye for an Eye, Lucid Dreaming gives you increased MP regeneration while it’s active, and Surecast actually prevents knockback and draw-in effects--all tools which can be very valuable in specific cases!
Know your Tank and Co-Healers
Being able to understand how best to work with different classes can make all kinds of runs a lot easier... and particularly in 8-man and raid content, knowing your fellow healers is vital! For example, any character can only have ONE shield effect on them at a time... AST’s Nocturnal Shields overwrite each other and SCH shields and vice-versa... if you’re an AST with a SCH, using Nocturnal Sect will give them a migraine and waste a lot of good healing, and if you have two AST’s the most effective way to go is to have one Nocturnal and one Diurnal healer!
For your tank, each one has a specific ‘last chance cooldown’ that acts differently. Paladin’s Hallowed Ground, for example, prevents ALL damage during it’s duration, meaning you can focus healing elsewhere... while Warrior’s Holmgang doesn’t prevent damage, meaning you need to try and get them back up before it ends and they’re in a bad place! Dark Knight is unusual... their Living Dead makes it so that if they would be killed, they’re instead put in a ‘Walking Dead’ state during which they can’t drop below 1 hp... but they MUST be healed for an amount equaling their full hp before the buff ends, or they’ll die, regardless of if they have hp remaining.
There’s other quirks and benefits you can find with all kinds of classes... from Monk’s Mantra which buffs healing, to Bard’s Warden’s Paean, which can esuna a debuff OR put up a ward to prevent one, to Bard and Machinist’s ability to help regenerate MP, to the different DPS casters being able to transfer a portion of their own MP to you. The more you learn about other classes, the more you can work in cooperation with them!
Know your Limit Break!
Before you hit 50, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll never end up using a Limit Break in a dungeon or trial. Afterwards, however... there will be times when the Healer Limit Break can be the difference between victory and defeat, and having it on your bar saves a lot of heartache.
The Healer LB 1 and 2 are unlikely to get used... but restore 25 and 60% of the entire party’s HP and MP, respectively. Healer LB3 on the other hand... restores full HP and MP to all party members and instantly revives any who are dead at the time! It’s important to note there IS a range on this... people who are VERY far away might miss out, and it locks you in place until the animation ends, meaning it’s possible to bring everyone back only to get caught in an AoE and fall yourself.
This got a lot longer than I meant to, and I’m definitely not any kind of expert... just a bug who really likes to ramble and sometimes gets the burning urge to write guides for things. Still... I think healing in FFXIV is fun as heck, and I can’t help but want more people to feel confident that they can do it, even if they find it tough here and there!
THANKS FOR READING THIS FAR, WOW!
#My brain slipped into hyperfocus and demanded I type a Lot of Words#and now it'd be a waste of several hours if I didn't hit post#but I'm kinda embarrassed

@fanfiction-and-everything I wonder? It's a logical conclusion that if Moth subjugated all human on Earth, the only threat possible left could be from space. The threats could include asteroids and other things got flung at Earth too, not just living beings trying to invade us. The question is would that be enough to shoot down the Types? We only see Moth utilizes it as buffs in gameplay, not as offensive mean. Moth mentions the old Great Wall and Holmes commented on Moth's prioritizing defense may point to Moth's weakness in this defense. Old Great Wall needs soldier so I assume this new Great Wall + how it is used as Moth's buff in-game means Moth wants to personally shoot down intruders. Unless I forgot the part about it having offensive capacity? Moth wouldn't have conceptual advantage over them - aliens - like he does against human however. Until Moth can capture a Type and manage to properly scan them, I don't think Moth could hold them back or devise a mean to specifically counter them. I think Moth overlook the threat from underground too. But if Moth killed all the Mages, probably nobody would want to dig down there and disturb things they shouldn't wake.
In the case that Moth did anticipate the Types coming then he would be actively working in humanity's favor and oppose Gaia's will, he wouldn't be Type Earth then. I can see Xiang Yu predicting the Types if the timeline goes on long enough and if he is alive long enough. Instead, Xiang Yu couldn't see the future for LB3 so something would happen to collapse the world before Gaia need to call the Types. Moth couldn't predict this. This is after Yu arrived at the LB3 so I would say that Moth's capacity in predicting the future based on calculation isn't omni-potent and much below Xiang Yu's.

Last minute Dun Scaithe runs, anyone?
Unfortunately I have no screenshots of this conversation so I’ll try to describe what happened as best I can! This is pretty long so I apologize for that, but I feel this is extremelyyy appropriate for this blog.
So me (I main SCH and that’s what I was going as for this) and my gf were running a last minute run of Dun Scaithe Monday night since she needed a drop. Things were going relatively okay!… untilllll we hit the Queen (second to last boss) and we wipe at 7%.
Now, this DRG in our party, this Mr. “I’m too good for all of you since I raid and obviously know better”, decides to smart mouth me after I, my gf and our SMN say this is the reason why we keep lb3 until around ~10% is left on the boss. You never know, whether people are experienced with a fight or not, if a fight is a wipe or clear.
He had used lb3 at 30% and things had started to go downhill right after that:
Our MT had died and aggro was on everyone, and people couldn’t keep track of her attacks because of this. Mostly everyone in all three alliances died because of this. My co healer and I tried to keep what little remained of our alliance alive while trying to raise healers from other alliances since they were smart enough to keep their lb3’s for this exact reason! Since this tactic was not working, we wiped at 7%.
As me, my gf and the SMN in our alliance explained to this DRG why we needed to keep lb3, he continues to complain that we “shouldn’t need it” when our exact situation highlighted exactly why you should (usually) ALWAYS save your lb3 for healers to use it. This DRG then proceeds to say “I’m never doing a Monday run again”, to which my gf and I proceed to say we’re glad because after three wipes of the Queen with him bad mouthing everyone but himself, we’re frankly tired of him showing everyone his dick when no one fucking asked. I then save our third or whatever try of the Queen with a - you guessed it! - healer lb3! It was a beautiful “fuck you” to the DRG because I saved his stupid conceited ass with something he argued wasn’t needed.
To wrap this tiring run up, I believe we wiped to Diablos once because new people were new, but thanks to half our party siding with me, this DRG didn’t use the lb3 again until he was at like 5%. He then left immediately when we were done, and I ended up getting 3 comms thanks to him!
To sum up my feelings that were brought about by this run, I hate hardcore raiders and generally anyone who argues why “we shouldn’t need a healer lb3 because we should be done with this already”. They obviously have never touched healer, so they have no clue what it means to try and recover an entire raid when all they have to do is poke the boss a few times and get a pat on the back for it.
Like I said, you cannot predict how well anything will go, you cannot for sure say things will definitely go smooth. There’s always going to be bumps in the road, and you need to be prepared.

Oh this is definitely Sel.
Or it could be Nick doing that thing they do where they use the same phrases because they have never been out of each other’s orbit even when they are apart…
Or it could be Natasia, the person Sel learned how to talk from???
Or….?
From Tracy’s ig story:
Why do I feel like Sel says this?!!!! It’s something he would say!!! What are your thoughts LB fandom??

Note
I'm predicting that moth's valentine's gift is a room in his actual castle body located right next to whatever acts as his heart.
the palace doesn’t exist anymore after the end of lb3 but really they might recreate it for the sole purpose of making a statement that extra because they’re just like that
on the other hand giving you a miniature of the palace is such a special gesture that it’s their bond ce so involving the palace might be a bit too grand for a simple valentines day gift
