you don't have to answer this because it may be grossly invasive in which case I'm so sorry! but I follow your dragon age blog and I've seen you talk about being a grad student and unemployed and I was wondering if that stresses you out? if so. what do you do about it? i'm in this situation right now with almost having my master's and i am feeling hopeless because the few jobs that exist in my niche field always have 500 or so applicants within the first hour of a job posting

don't worry it's not invasive! i finished my course in september and have been looking for work ever since lol, i'm also really interested in working in a niche field but i'm also applying to literally anything that my degree qualifies me for 😑 and so far i've had no luck. it IS stressful but everyone's in the same boat right now so the best thing to do really is just find a friend to commiserate with and stay afloat until the job market gets less fucked. i've been taking this time to do extra hobby stuff related to what i want to do that i can put in a portfolio / on my cv to boost me in any way i can
