At the beginning of The Terror, it’s just heart breaking when you’ve watched it before.

Spoilers below if you’ve not finished!! Keep seeing new people like me watching it.

hua cheng being so clingy to xie lian is my favourite thing. like yeah that’s calamity crimson rain sought flower with his arms wrapped around his beloveds waist pouting because xie lian is pretending to be exasperated by his nonsense (he loves it actually) so he’ll cling and pepper kisses to the curve of xie lian’s neck and squeeze him until xie lian finally gives him and they spend the rest or the night together like usual ❤️

like. they‘re childhood friends and of course they’re more comfortable with each other than pretty much anyone else. momo was just letting a friend help her sleep since she was being hunted by reiko. shes been shown pining over okarun in so many other instances by this point that it could be reasonable to assume she doesn’t have any lingering feelings for jiji and that this interaction is completely platonic from her side.

but does okarun know that? for all he knows, jiji was her first romantic interest and jiji still has feelings for her. plus, they get along really well. on top of all of that, he only sees himself as „an awkward guy,“ after all, being socially inept and self-conscious, not athletic or charismatic the way jiji is. it would be perfectly reasonable for him to assume that momo prefers jiji over him, since what he sees in jiji is everything he isn’t.

Go For Broke - What role do you think you’d be good in on a polar expedition?

Well…not much as of now because of my ever present chronic fatigue 🙄😆 but I used to be an engineer and I was good at woodwork so maybe a carpenter? Although it also involved some fabric work and I still sew occasionally so maybe something to do with the sails?! Is that a job title?! 😂 i would be terrible in any position of leadership though so if someone could just tell me what to do…that would be great 👍🏻😆

Captain - Who’s your favourite coldboy?

Going with my gut and saying Francis Crozier, but they’re all great characters 😭 It’s got to be him or Fitzjames though because I adore their relationship and how it changes through the show. I like that he does eventually sort himself out and he really tries to save the rest of the cold boys, yes he could have done more sooner 🤦🏻‍♀️ but he does try in the end to make up for the pain he’s caused. And James accepts that and I don’t know if he should have or not but the acceptance of each others faults (and perceived faults) between them just really gets me? I don’t think I can separate the two in my mind anymore 😂 they’ve been welded together in there and cannot be pried apart 😂
