December 1st, 1989 Layne Staley at the Cub Ballroom at Washington State University - photo by Darren Balch. Darren was also instrumental along with Tim Branom in getting the WAZZU (WSU) footage viewable and finally released to all of us almost 5 years ago. This photo is a perfect example of what was ahead for them - true success! I was lucky enough to actually get to view the footage ahead of time due to my friend HitcockHkr who also put her own time in helping get the footage out.
