why do I see this idea that a dragon HAS to have four legs and wings and any other configuration isn’t a dragon anyway? like why do people define wyverns as something different from “real” dragons? is this not dragon enough for you???

Okay, so Sorry if i accidentally send this question twice, but I’m not sure if it was send proberly, since i had bad internet. So I’ll again just in case:

How exactly did Dorbickmon go from Monodramon to Dorbickmon? I don’t think that have been explained.

No worries. It's possible the ask got lost in my inbox and I forgot to reply.

Dorbickmon's evolution line is:

Monodramon -> Strikedramon -> Volcdramon -> Dorbickmon

I'm not sure if Volcdramon is the best fit. I want something wild and explosive for his Perfect level form since that would reflect his anger during that time. Either that or Lavogaritamon. I'm not sure which would fit him better.

After Strikedramon recovered from his injuries, he left to travel on his own and joined a mercenary group. Through his training, he evolved to his Perfect form. Eventuallym after a lot of training and combat, he evolved to his Dorbickmon form. It was around then that he left on his own again, and he started his quest for revenge.

Ooh, that's good! Father would totally have a Fire/Dragon Digimon partner!

Maybe Father had a Digimon partner when he was younger along with Monty who had Flamemon until Ben became Father. Maybe Ben still wants to find his lost partner.

I'll think more about what happened to Vorvomon and Flamemon soon. Again, thank you for the idea!

These are the two decks that don't need heavy work. I need like 10 more tamers for tyranno and a lot of refining

Chaosdramon deck - tbh I see now it's mostly level 5s (which it needs tbh, but I topped up today and maybe I need to add more level fours in 🤦 and... More tamers)

It started with the alt art Chaosdramon from my first booster pack. I'll see how it plays before changing it again tho 😅

Due to personal complications, the fight had to be postponed a few hours, and it was held passed 23:40, and it... Did not went well.

As I was connecting to the VC, I recognized the voice of one of the contendants, it was Herissmon's ex-tamer. This is something pretty common, the same people tend to participate in tournaments until they win, so coinciding with him on another tournament wouldn't be a surprise, tho having to face him again and this time with Stiffilmon was something I didn't expected at all.

Apparently the guy changed his username recently, that's why I didn't recognize him, his... Unusual pair of Lavogaritamon and WereGarurumon wasn't in line at all with the pair he used last time (Hexeblaumon and "Rasenmom") tho they were almost as strong as the first ones I faced.

The guy pointed out that the Stiffilmon I had was originally "his property" which is, at the very least, a pretty low kick, I would say it's even lower having a WereGarurumon on him since he's facing Stiffilmon, tho I can't say it's on purpose so I can't really put that on him. Whatever the case is, the battle was... Pretty violent.

Aside from the toxic taunting from both WereGarurumon and its tamer, the battle began with Lavogaritamon's Wild Blast, causing explosions that made my digimon blast off, and sending WereGarurumon up into the sky to attack Stiffilmon with the Kaiser Nail, however, it was received with a discharge coming from Stiffilmon's spiky fur, followed by Helloogarmon's Inferno Claw, which was rapidly comboed with the Vermillion Vortex, immobilizing WereGarurumon, as a try to recover his partner, Lavogaritamon flew in Stiffilmon's direction, being stopped by the Hati Embrace, which threw it against the Vermillion Vortex too, thus allowing Helloogarmon to send a Howling Burst, at the three digimon, while Stiffilmon was preparing herself to perform the Giga Crimson Dive in one place and create a big fire tornado that would burn the two digimon, but on that moment, Lavogaritamon used the Merudainā, a heat laser that came out of its mouth, to break the trajectory of the Howling Burst, taking both of my Digimon by surprise and freeing them from the Vermillion Vortex.

In the middle of the air, Lavogaritamon prepared another Merudainā, and when it shot it, WereGarurumon followed it with the Engetsugeri, to expand the radius of the laser beam, in the end tho, it only got to Stiffilmon, which made her burst with rage, charging against WereGarurumon specifically, I thought this could be a normal reaction to WereGarurumon's move but... Stiffilmon was out of her mind, I admit I had to take more attention, but I was too engaged in the fight to actually have the will to stop it, so I just kept on encouraging her, so you could say what happened next was my fault.

The rival Tamer began mocking how easily Stiffilmon was knocked down, and tho he complemented the fact that I trained her well, he still mocked how she wasn't as strong as WereGarurumon, and if we got the advantage at the beginning of the fight it was just because he left us this to make us feel miserable afterwards Stiffilmon... Didn't take this well, she began attacking WereGarurumon nonstop, from that point forward, everything went on a downward spiral... Quite literally Stiffilmon got surrounded by Spirals, that probably took her fur as a place to stay without us knowing, and began swirling around her, and then she began growing, she was Evolving.

This evolution, being influenced by the natural morbid feelings that inhabit Spirals, ended up turning her into Rasenmon Fury Mode, a Digimon purely made of rage and resentment that rampaged against both Lavogaritamon and WereGarurumon using the Desperate Vortex with her back tails, and then threatening to use Predator's Bite to devourer their DigiCore, an act that would end on their death... So I had to send Helloogarmon to act and change into Soloogarmon.

The referee couldn't do anything but watch as my two beasts caught each other, with a constant fight between the Prominence Laser and the Desperate Vortex to see who would end up victorious, with Rasenmon Fury Mode's claws and drills constantly clashing against the Vánagandr, Soloogarmon tried to keep her as centred on him as possible, since if she saw my opponent's digimon, they would perish instantly, but at the same time, he had to keep a fair distance, since the nearer she was, the safest she would feel to throw a Predator's Bite, Rasenmon felt close enough to charge at Soloogarmon once and eat his DigiCore, but the Skröll Rage was enough to keep her at a safe distance, in the end, another participant was authorized to enter with her Lotusmon and put my now Rasenmon to sleep, and I was disqualified from the tournament due to my digimon's misconduct and my opponent was too because his toxic behavior was what caused all of this to begin with.

Now I have another uncontrollable digimon in my hands, but this one is being influenced by external programs that infected her data so I don't know if a seal program similar to Helloogarmon's could work, but... I'll need to figure that out later I'm... Too tired rn.

Next up is courage, not that I'm going in any order

Fladramon is easy in that you can fold in any number of Agumon or Agumon-adjacent evolutions. I went with Vritramon because it builds on the armor while also being explicitly fire-based. KaiserGreymon follows suit, though again, any number of Gogglehead partners would have their merits. I heavily considered Dorbickmon too, but it's just a bit too menacing. At that point I might as well have said Megidramon, right?

Hawkmon/Allomon didn't take too much intensive thought, I made the Allosaurus with red markings become the Tyrannosaurus with red markings. Then MasterTyranomon becomes Gaioumon, a natural evolution of it that also circles around to Hawkmon being samurai-coded.

Armadimon/Boarmon got a little railroaded into being Vikaralamon and SkullMammon because they're all big tusked mammals. Mammon was an option, but I didn't really want to use something with ice powers.

I didn't want to reuse digimon, but I ran out of insects. Shadramon becoming Dinobeemon and Grankuwagamon is good enough. I didn't want to use TyrantKabuterimon or AncientBeatmon just for the sake of originality when GranKuwagamon does fit the bill better.

Tailmon/Lynxmon becoming Coronamon and Apollomon isn't without flaw, since Tailmon presents fem and Apollomon is very masc, but fire cats. It's actually the best fit I've had so far and that counts giving Wormmon its canonical evolutions.

Patamon/Baromon is lucky in that there is another flame-based masked demon man in Asuramon. I recall KarnEX also did this and made the ultimate stage Gankoomon, but I had a different idea. Barbamon is another masked demon wizard guy, and it brings back Baromon's robes while also having bat wings like Patamon's ears.

FlaWizarmon becoming Mistymon is a no-brainer because fire magic, and I could not find a better option than MedievalDukemon for the ultimate.

Salamandamon into Volcdramon and AncientGreymon as they're all flaming herpetiles on all fours. I again considered Dorbickmon because Salamandamon were seen as its minions in Xros Wars.

Looking at KarnEX's video:

Apollomon for Fladramon which I feel is too steep a departure in addition to me using it for Tailmon

Lavogaritamon and Volcanicdramon for Allomon which I don't love as much

Marsmon for Lynxmon which is honestly tomato/tomahto

Jesmon for FlaWizarmon...I can see it, but I think I'll stick with MedievalDukemon

Imperialdramon Black for Shadramon...I mean, I guess?

Bryweludramon for Salamandamon, which is also a great idea.

Vrains crew with digimon, part 2

time to set up to the ring and bring the heat with both Gore and Theodore. Will be doing child level towards the ultimate level and I will try to keep the evolution to ones that are possible but sometimes the path that I think fits best don't have a good path to go into it.

so for Gore I will try to mix the two archetypes of his Gouki and Dinowrestler and the first on the list is Gaomon.

this hand to hand fighter could be a nice bases for the animal like Gouki monster, they even have weak defences like them.

next up adult level will be Geo Greymon.

this is one of the more psychical fighters compare to the other greymon species at this level to more fit with dinowrestler side of him.

for the perfect level comes the fast flying Mach Gaogamon.

(I find it funny to ues digimon of the main character and lancer of savers) One reason I chose to pick this guy besides the wrestling or boxing belt on him, it is the jet pack the reminds me of Gouki Jet Ogre.

for the final level, The powerhouse Marsmon.

this digimon is said to use wrestling moves over all other forms of combat. though in a pinch they can use some hidden weapons just like how the Gouki link monsters would.

now man who will burn those who try to harm his friends, Soulburner. his partner in helping this action, Coronamon (as in the crown of light from the sun, not the virus.)

this little guy reminds me of flame with them both being cute little guys who will cause a fire and no one can tell if it is on purpose or not.

with his passionate heart Coronamon become the winged lion of fire Firamon.

this big guy can fit quite well with the extra deck Salamgreat monsters and he could even ride it for dramatic entrances or picking up his gf.

his burning spirit will let them evolve into the flaming dragon of magma Lavogaritamon.

another great contender of a digimon that match with a yugioh card, with this time salamangreat blaze dragon.

when push come to shove, soulburner will blaze forward and cause his buddy to become the Vermilion bird of south, Zhuqiaomon.

this holy fire bird can match well with the two phoenix link monsters, plus in the digimon card game the first Zhuqiaomon card is able to do a almost full bourd wipe beside one digimon of your foe's side and this digimon like pyro phoenix.

Hope you guys like this part as the next one will have spector and the star of the show Yusaku.

Digimon Fragments Art Master Post

I wrote an OC Digimon fanfic a while back called Digimon Fragments, and I drew the characters. I decided to redraw them and put them up on Tumblr! There are two reasons. One- my old art was garbage. I’ve gotten better at working with digital art since I first drew them. Two- my original mirror for this art was Twitter, and Muskrat makes it less stable every time he breathes.

OLIVER

Oliver, the gogglehead of the group, is sweet-natured and gentle. He tries to keep a positive outlook no matter what. However, this causes him to be somewhat naive. He is easily overwhelmed by his emotions, ranging from getting easily flustered when teased, to intense panic attacks when things get rough.

Partner: Vorvomon, Lavorvomon, Lavogaritamon, Volcanicdramon

Oliver’s personally my favorite, but I like goggleheads, redheads, freckles, and softies, so this wasn’t a hard contest to win. I made a character sheet for him, which is old, but I’m reposting it so I have a solid mirror.

LUCA

Serious-natured Luca is the group's tactician. His brilliant mind allows him insight to things his allies don't pay notice to. Where he excels in intellect, he has trouble managing his emotions. His feelings can easily overwhelm him, though he tries to keep calm and serious at all times.

Partner: Jazamon, Jazardmon, Jazarichmon, Metallicdramon

Luca is the loner of the group and my second favorite. He really needed the fixes. This character sheet shows his original design.

SKYE

Skye is an athletic girl, who happens to be on every sports team at her school. She put her friends before herself, even when doing so would be dangerous. As a result, she can be a bit reckless. Her friendly facade hides the fact that her unselfishness causes her many problems.

Partner: Labramon, Seasarmon, Caturamon, SaberLeomon

Skye’s old art was really ugly, but this newer art is really growing on me!

PIPER

Piper is a nerdy girl who loves video games. She is the most excited about being sucked into the Digital World, viewing it as an adventure. Every new thing she encounters is a source of excitement and joy. Though she can be quirky and weird around people, that's just a part of who she is.

Partner: Penguinmon, Kiwimon, Deramon, Gryphonmon

Piper hasn’t really changed. You don’t know how detailed glasses are in Digimon until you draw them!

LILY

Shy and quiet, Lily is less of a people person than she is a creative genius. She likes to sew, and has created multiple projects, including a bag to hold her sewing supplies that helps the group out multiple times (not pictured here). However, she is also frightful, and is easily intimidated.

Partner: Floramon, Ponchomon, Pumpkinmon, NoblePumpkinmon

Lily originally had way too much shading because I didn’t know what I was doing. I like the subtler direction I went with this version!

COLTON

Colton is loud and obnoxious, and knows "every curse word knows to man" (which he uses liberally). But despite this, he has a soft heart that pities the weak and despises bullies. All of this combines into one impulsive individual, who will even fight Digimon to keep his friends safe.

Partner: Otamamon, Gekomon, ShogunGekomon, Plesiomon

Colton underwent a few minor changes. I like what his hair looks like now way better than the blob I originally drew!

Vobomon's Evolution Line Revealed!

So, in 2016, a new Digimon app came out in Japan called Digimon Linkz. In this game, they revealed two new Digimon: the Child/Rookie Stage Vobomon & the Ultimate/Mega Stage Volcanicdramon.

Today, the Adult/Champion & Perfect/Ultimate Stages of this line have been revealed. Please take a look under the cut!

Vobomon: A Digimon made of a hard, hot ore. There are wings on both of its arms so it is able to fly for a few seconds, but it gets tired easily. Due to it being very passionate, the more excited it gets, the higher the temperature of its horns and claws will increase.

Lavobomon: A Digimon whose entire body is made out of lava, and spouts mineral dust as it goes about its activities. Since it is poor at flying, despite having wings, it mainly moves about by crawling on the ground. Contrary to its sluggish appearance, its crawling speed is extremely fast, so it closes in on enemies in an instant.

Lavogaritamon: A Dragon Digimon with large wings that lift even its heavy body effortlessly into the air, and well-trained leg strength that allows it to stand imposingly. It dwells in the magma beds of active volcanoes around the Digital World, and some theorise that it may live nearby Volcdramon.

Volcanicdramon: It is a Digimon that is said to be a dragon swimming in magma, and is thought to live in a place deep underground that even Digimon that move underground cannot reach it. Somebody mentions that it might be Volcanicdramon that supported the world deep under the ground ever since the Digital World was created.
