ok but lavi absolutely losing it over lenalee not having returned yet, to the point where he tramples all over the fleet's and his fellow exorcists' pleas to not ignore his own serious injuries and cause undue harm to himself by going off to look for her, accusing them of not caring about lenalee (they obviously do), and going off anyways despite the emotional hurt and worry he would cause them if he did so...

Finally posting more lavilena

this au has been sitting on my blog untouched for years and this year's reread finally got me to draw it

also lavi's wearing a polo bc i misrepresented him to my gf and now he's dressed like the most insufferable man alive

the conversation for those curious went as follows:

me: what should i make this character wear gf: what's he like? me, panicking bc im trying to describe him quickly and my brain isn't working: causes problems on purpose? gf: a polo gf: just like dirk strider me, cry laughing: just like dirk strider

dgrayman is the only show where I don’t want nor care for my otp happening because lavilena is so interesting and has so much potential to incorporate properly lavi and lenalee back into the plot. while I don’t truly ship them (reading and producing fancontent and advocating for them in fandom spaces) I am attached to the idea of them ending up together or are canonized in another way and I know I’ll be disappointed if that doesn’t come to fruition
