【美國關島】 查莫洛文化村  Gef Pa'go Cultural Village

    傑夫帕哥查莫洛文化村位於關島南部4號公路上，是由關島政府規劃的原住民文化展示村。村落內綠樹環繞，木屋茅房星星點點散落其中，雞、羊、狗等動物在路上行走，仿佛走入原始森林一般，一切都是那麼古樸簡單。

今日，查莫洛人佔關島總人口的37%。他們的祖先是關島的原住民，估計是在3500年前從東南亞地區航行到這個島嶼的海航專家。他們以星宿、海浪和海洋動植物找到方向，划著「proas」旅行至周圍的島嶼，和與這些島嶼通商。

村內的房屋保留了原住民傳統房屋建築樣式——棕櫚屋，獨特的建築結構——拉堤石(LatteStone)，又有編織、煮鹽、編繩、製作椰糖、蚊香等傳統製作工藝，隨處可見關島原住民的生活智慧，帶你回到一個充滿自然手織物的年代。

你也可以試試用手去編織一些東西，或者動手製作椰子糖，花點時間靜下心來感受一門傳統手藝，待到看見自己的「作品」時，一定是非常有成就感的事情，還可以帶回家作紀念呢。

嘉年華是查莫洛人的傳統，原住民的生活里有不少盛大的節日慶典，例如每年7月21日的解放日遊行與每年12月8日的天主教慶典，若是趕上了，則可欣賞到獨特的查莫洛音樂，跟著原住民一起跳充滿活力的集體舞蹈，還有各式各樣的當地食物，別樣的熱鬧場面會是此時難忘的場景。

不過文化村的開放時間至到每天中午12點，想要前往參觀的朋友，就一定要提早出發啦。
