Night slam done and dusted. . Changing my usual workout routine to a night-time one. . It's not easy for me as you all know I'm more of an early morning kinda guy. . But apparently some studies say it's actually better to workout at night die to the following reasons: . 1) you have larger reserves of energy towards the end of the day, due to greater intake of food in the earlier hours. I see this as all the better for compound movements and exercises; . 2) your body temperature is higher later in the day and so equates to your muscles being more pliant, and can take greater stress ie. it can take greater loads. As you know, more stress = more growth; 3) your joints are more warmed up due to you moving around throughout the day, so you are relatively more flexible in the evening than early morning. All the better, again, for compound movements. And more importantly, lesser risks of injury. .
