Gift for Effie214
Here is my fic gift for @effie214. Thanks again for organizing. Please drop me a message to let me know you’ve received this and I’m all set.
Thanks - Lauren @laureningall
Third Time’s the Charm
Dear Effie214: You suggested I ignore COIE… well that’s what I did. This is a new!parents!mode Olicity story full of fluffiness - with some eventual romance for our very exhausted couple. Thanks for giving me such a great idea to mull over. I had a lot of fun writing. Wishing you all the best in the coming year - #OlicityForever - Lauren
Summary: Parenting is hard work even if you last job title was ‘superhero’. Oliver and Felicity enjoy a simple life in their Bloomfield cabin with their daughter Mia. If only she’d sleep long enough for her parents to spend some quality time together.
>>>>>———————–>>
Bloomfield Cabin - Mid November
Felicity stepped into the warmth of the cabin laden with grocery bags. Scuffing her feet on the mat just inside the door she paused to admire the view before her, her husband was lying on the floor, face to face with their daughter Mia who was desperately trying to lift her head from the  floor.
He might have put the fear of God into many a criminal during his time as the Green Arrow, but he was so gentle and loving with Mia. Moments like this were perfection. Just when she thought she couldn’t love the man anymore she would see him like this and feel the tears blossom.
“Damn hormones.”
She looked up to see Oliver smiling back at her from his vantage point on the floor.
“Hey, your back.”
He gently rolled Mia onto her back and slid her to the center of the animal print quilt that filled most of the floor area of their small living space. Oliver quickly rose to his feet and took the bags from Felicity arms to set them on the kitchen counter.
“You didn’t have to stop at the market. Remember, you’re supposed to be resting,” he added with a quick kiss on her cheek.
“It’s the least I can do, you do all the cooking. I’ll be back to put everything away, I want to change into something warmer. Feels like snow outside.”
After pulling on a turtleneck and hoodie she returned to the kitchen to see Oliver unloading the groceries from the bags on the counter. Felicity stepped up behind Oliver and slid her arms around his waist. She snuggled her face against his soft flannel shirt, “mmmh, you are so warm.”
“Are you cold? I can turn up the heat or maybe I should start a fire. We should enjoy the fireplace more before Mia gets mobile. I swear she’s going to roll over any day now.”
“She is motivated. I guess that is normal for all kids. Then again she’s my only frame of reference,” added Felicity.
Mia let out a wail from the living room.
“Duty calls.”
“You feed Mia and I’ll make dinner.”
“Sounds like a plan.”
>>>>>———————–>>
After Dinner
“I forgot to ask, how did your doctor’s appointment go? Anything I need to know?”
To be honest Felicity was amazed that she had kept the precious little nugget of information to herself all the way through dinner.
“Everything is good. Really good. I still need to limit my caffeine and alcohol since I’m breastfeeding”
“Do you think you can manage that? I know you’ve really been missing coffee.”
That’s not the only thing I’ve been missing
“I’ll manage. How about we have a glass of wine to celebrate?”
“Yeah, let me just put Mia down and then I’ll help you clean up. When is her next check up?” added Oliver shifting a sleeping Mia to his other arm.
Felicity rose from the table taking her plate and silverware to the sink, “in two weeks. And the midwife said we’re clear to have sex again.”
Expecting Oliver to comment on the critical info she had just dropped Felicity she paused at the sink, but the silence lingered. It was too much. She turned around to an empty table.
Where did he go?
She stepped back to the dining table, stacked the remaining dishes and then deposited them next to the sink while she turned on the water and opened the dishwasher. As she waited for the water to warm she felt him behind her, one hand on her hip and the other moving to sweep her hair away from her neck.
His lips made contact just below her ear, “I put Mia down, she’s asleep. Just so I’m sure I heard you correctly, no more limitations,” as he pulled at her hips to press them firmly into his own.
Felicity leaned back into his body lost in all the sensations.
“Nope. And I got the shot, so birth control is set for three months. She reminded me that we need to take it slow.”
Felicity felt a smile against her neck, “slow, hmm, I can do slow,” he answered pressing his growing erection into her more firmly.
Oliver released his hold and led her down the hallway. He sat down on the bed and pulled Felicity into his lap. Felicity pulled his shirt over his head and pushed him down onto the bed.
waaaa, waaaa
Felicity paused and turned her head in the direction of the baby monitor on the nightstand willing the sound to stop.
waaaa, waaaa, waaaa
Following the second cry, Felicity smiled at her husband and moved to get off the bed, but he was faster and said, “you stay, I’ll check on her and be right back.”
Felicity scooted to lay down on the bed.
I’ll just close my eyes for a minute
Awhile later she woke with a start in the now darkened room. Mia wasn’t crying. Why wasn’t her husband in the bed?
How long have I been asleep?
She rose quickly and walked into Mia’s room to find Oliver in the glider rocker, holding Mia, both of them fast asleep. Felicity gently touched his face and his eyes fluttered open. Felicity moved to take the sleeping child from his arms and whispered, “come to bed.”
Felicity returned to their bedroom and lifted back the covers to place Mia in the middle of the bed. The baby opened her mouth and began to root for her mother’s breast. Felicity pulled off her shirt and bra and then slid carefully into the bed. Mia latched quickly and Felicity snuggled closer.
A few minutes later Oliver returned to the room and slipped into bed too. She noticed that Oliver was wearing different clothes than she remembered from earlier in the evening.
“Why didn’t you wake me when you had trouble getting her back to sleep honey?”
Oliver answered, eyes already closed, “diaper explosion, twice. It was all over her and the sheets and blanket, and then all over me. I had to change and then run a load of laundry, oh and I gave her a bath. I must have fallen asleep rocking her.”
“I slept through all of that?”
Oliver’s answer came in the form of a small snore. He had spent all day with Mia while she ran errands and went to her doctor’s appointment, and now he had single handedly taken care of the monumental diaper crisis and let her sleep. Obviously they were both exhausted. Felicity felt the pull of sleep as Mia continued to nurse.
The only sex I’ll be having tonight will be in my dreams.
>>>>>———————–>>
The Next Evening
The next day was filled with more of the same as most days with a new baby are. Feeding, burping, changing, baths and lots of laundry. Felicity knew intellectually that she would eventually be able to have sex with her husband, but it seemed so odd to think of scheduling that sort of activity.
Oliver had left early to head to Star City for the day to check in with the Team. He was supposed to be back around dinner time to allow for their scheduled *date*. Well not a date-date as they were not going to leave the cabin, but a date nonetheless.
What do you call a date with your husband for sex?
Felicity spent the morning wheeling Mia around at the market picking up some special pre-cooked treats for dinner so that Oliver wouldn’t have to cook. Who could know how cooperative Mia would be that evening.
Time will be of the essence.
Mia slept peacefully the entire ride back to the cabin. Once Felicity has unpacked her dinner treats she repeated the cycle of feeding and changing and laid down on the couch to sleep while Mia was napping.
Oliver returned home just as Felicity had begun to pull the dinner treats from the fridge.
“Hey, your back early. How did things go?”
“Good. It was great to see John. I meant to text, but once I was on the road, I just wanted to get home. Looks like you have dinner ready.”
“Yup, cooked by someone else and ready to be reheated.”
“Is Mia sleeping? I was expecting to see her keeping you company in her bouncy chair.”
“Still sleeping. I was a bit worried at first she’d been asleep since before noon, but she’s peacefully sleeping. My breasts on the other hand do feel pretty full.”
“See, I told you she’d start sleeping for longer stretches soon.”
Felicity turned to poke her husband in the chest, “don’t you dare tempt fate.”
Oliver smiled, kissed his wife and moved to set the table for dinner.
Just as Felicity lifted her fork to take a bite of the steaming mac and cheese on her plate…
waaaa, waaaa
“I guess I’m not the only one whose hungry.”
Felicity sighed. She quickly popped a morsel of food into her mouth, pushed back from the table to get Mia from her room. Once she returned with her freshly changed little girl, Oliver helped her get settled back in her chair with her nursing pillow.
“Can you eat while you nurse or do I need to help you?” he asked.
“I’ve got it. I knew all the practice typing with one hand would come in handy someday. You need to eat too.”
Oliver and Felicity had a wonderfully relaxing dinner. Mia on the other hand didn’t stop eating all evening. By 8 pm the entire Queen family was exhausted and asleep.
>>>>>———————–>>
One Week Later
“Fe-li-ci-ty - let’s just rock her. We can wait.”
“No, we will not wait. I has been 7 weeks, 3 days and (checks her phone), 2 hours. I don’t want to  wait anymore.”
“Honey, Mia has been crying for the past 2 hours, she’s been doing this for the past few nights. It’s colic. You know we just need to wait it out and she’ll eventually fall asleep, come and sit down next to me,” as he patted the sofa next to where he was sitting.
Felicity hung her head in defeat, but noticed that Mia was no longer whimpering as was typical during one of these bouts of colic.
Why is she quiet?
Felicity looked up to see Oliver rocking baby Mia using his foot to move her bouncy chair. His eyes were closed and his head rested back onto the couch.
“She’s not crying.”
“Uh huh.”
“You’ve been holding out on me - you’ve known the secret all this time.”
“No secret, it just seemed easier this way since I’m tired”
“Genius. You Oliver Queen are a genius. You know what that means don’t you.”
“No.”
“Can you multitask?”
“Multitask?”
“Yes. You keep Mia quiet by bouncing her and do something else at the same time?”
“Why would I need to do something else at the same time?” he answered as he opened his eyes.
“If you can keep her busy, then we can get busy,”
Oliver snorted at her innuendo, but without another word, he swooped up Mia, bouncy chair and all, and carried her into their bedroom. Felicity was close on his heels, peeling off her sweater as she walked down the hallway.
He gently placed Mia and her bouncy chair on the floor next to the bed and turned to take Felicity into his arms. Oliver wasted no time and moved in to kiss her firmly. Felicity pressed closer and slid her hands up around his neck to deepen the kiss.
Mia began to whimper, eyes still closed, but sensing a sudden lack of bouncing. Maybe their short window of opportunity was closing.
“I’ll keep bouncing, you get undressed,” added Oliver.
Felicity yanked her shirt over her head. Next she toed off her shoes and shimmied out of her jeans, leaving her in only her bra and panties.
“Are you sure you can manage this?”
He leaned over to caress her face, “Felicity, I am highly motivated to keep Mia busy so that we can… get busy too.”
Felicity laughed and leaned in to kiss him again. Oliver pulled her close and snaked his arm around her back. With practiced ease he unhooked her bra and slipped it off her shoulders.
“I thought I was undressing myself?”
Oliver pulled back and shrugged, “what, I’m helping.”
Felicity pushed his foot away and took over the bouncing.
“Your turn.”
Oliver stood quickly, pulling his shirt over his head, and then dropped his pants and boxers in one fluid motion.
Felicity raised an eyebrow.
“What? I’m anxious too.”
Oliver laid down and shifted so that he had one leg hung off the side of the bed, his foot moving at a steady cadence. Felicity carefully stepped around the bouncy chair to reach the foot of the bed. She had to smile at the view laid out before her; her husband, in bed, completely naked - and miracle of miracles they were both awake and their daughter was not crying.
Felicity wasted no time in crawling onto the bed so that she was face to face with husband.
They would remember this day for many years into the future and laugh at all the effort it took that day to complete their pressing task.
Parenting was hard work.

Effie214,  I hope you liked the fic. I do have an idea for a second fic/second part that would be Christmas / Hanukkah focused. Obviously I didn’t get to write that yet, but I’ll share that on AO3 later on. Christmas in March anyone?

Dirty Laundry (M)
Tumblr media
→ Pairing: Jimin x reader
→ Genre: Smut with a lil fluff
→ Word Count: 5k
→ Summary: Doing your laundry isn’t exactly fun, but when you run into a hot stranger at your local laundromat, you decide it isn’t half bad.
→ What to Expect: oral sex (receiving), fingering, a little bit of public indecency, questionable laundromat conduct, a plot if you squint a little and turn your head
Tumblr media
You learned your lesson on the very first day at the laundromat. You’d put your clothing in the washer, and not wanting to sit there and wait, you’d left to run a couple quick errands before returning to put your clothes in the dryer. But when you got back inside, bags slung over your arms, you saw a pile of clothing crumpled on top of the counter. Your familiar soft pink cardigan poking out on top let you know the hideous wadded up pile belonged to you.
“Oh come on,” you huffed under your breath and set your bags down next to your clothes on the counter. You inspected your clothing, including your pillow cases which were now resting on the dirty counter. You weren’t the biggest germaphobe in the world, but the multiple stains on the counter were enough to make you want to rewash. You let out a massive sigh as you plucked up your laundry and looked for an open washer, eyes scanning the laundromat.
“You’re not gonna find an open one at this hour,” a voice said from beside you, and you jumped a little and looked to your left.
A man around your age was sitting up on the counter as if he’d been there the entire time, but he definitely had not been there before. Among the stainless steel of the laundromat, his pink hair was a surprising splash of color that pulled you forward unconsciously. It was as if he was the only alive thing in the laundromat, despite it being packed.
“You must be new to this,” he said.
You thought about lying, not wanting to admit that you were a complete amateur, but your crumpled up clothing betrayed any lie you could’ve told.
A smile crept onto his face, and if he didn’t look soft before with his pink hair, the fact that his eyes crinkled shut with his smile made him positively adorable.
“First rule is to never leave your laundry unattended.”
You tried not to roll your eyes and turned away from him. “Thanks, I think I learned that one already.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you could see him throw his hands up in defense. “I’m just trying to help.”
You groaned and leaned against the counter. It was dinnertime, and the last thing you wanted to do was spend the next hour at the laundromat. Especially considering the traitor who’d thrown your clothing out of the washer was only a few feet away and kept throwing glances at you as if you were the stupidest person on earth.
“My clothing’s almost done, you can use the washer after me,” the pink haired guy said rather gently, and you peeked at him and let out the tension in your muscles that you hadn’t realized you’d been holding onto.
“Thanks,” you replied sheepishly, and you saw him throw you a smile before he leapt down from the counter and opened the washer.
You followed him with your laundry so you could load it in before someone else grabbed it. It was as if everyone came in from work to do their laundry, which you supposed was exactly what you’d done.
Once you poured in the detergent and started the machine, you turned around and saw the man sitting back up on the counter facing the driers. Since you knew you couldn’t leave without risking your clothes being taken out for a second time, you jumped up on the counter next to the man but faced the other direction.
“Are you new here?” the man asked you, and you turned a little so you could look at him. The counter wasn’t very large, so the two of you were practically sitting right next to each other even though you weren’t facing the same way. He was fussing with a bag of chips, his hands seemed to be too damp from moving his clothes that he couldn’t get a good enough grip to open them.
“Yeah, I just moved here,” you replied and reached for the bag of chips. He let go of them without resisting, and watched you open them and hand them back to him.
The man nodded, although you weren’t sure if it was in response to what you’d said or because you’d opened the chips for him. He popped one into his mouth and turned the bag to you, offering you some.
Your stomach growled, having still not eaten dinner. You pulled one out and nearly moaned when the salt hit your tongue.
“My best advice is never come after work unless you have to,” he said, his eyes twinkling in amusement at your reaction to the chips.
“Then why are you here?” you asked and grabbed another chip since he hadn’t moved the bag.
“I had to.”
“What, gotta wash the blood out of your clothing from your last murder or something?” you asked, and when you didn’t get a response you looked up from the bag of chips. He was looking at you seriously, and you gulped.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend—”
He broke out into laughter, his eyes crinkling closed and his whole body shaking.
“I like you,” he said between his laughter.
“I like you too, as long as you’re not a murderer,” you said with a small chuckle. “You’re the most interesting person I’ve met here so far.”
“I’m not a murderer, I was traveling for work before this and I couldn’t go another day with dirty laundry.” You watched as he popped another chip into his mouth before his brows furrowed. “Hey wait, I’m the only person you’ve met here so far.”
“Exactly.” You smiled at his offended expression, his mouth hanging open. You hated the fact that you paid more attention to his plump lips than you should’ve. You cleared your throat and looked away. “Well, you and the person who took my washer. But it’s hard not to beat that.”
“I’m Jimin, the most interesting person you will ever meet here.” He locked eyes with you as he emphasized his words and you bit your lip.
“I’m Y/N, and you’ll have to prove that to me, I guess,” you replied, the words slipping out almost seductively before you even realized it. The laundromat wasn’t the quietest place in the world, what with all the machines running, but those words practically dripped from your mouth and you blushed at the implication. You grabbed another chip to busy yourself with something so that he wouldn’t notice your blush and the fact that, despite only knowing him for several minutes, you were incredibly attracted to him.
“I guess I will,” he replied, and you nearly choked at the matched seduction in his voice. While his voice had been soft before, his most recent words were rough, brushing over your skin and leaving goosebumps.
Just when you thought your entire face must be red, you looked down at your ringing phone appreciatively.
“I can watch your clothes,” Jimin said. You nodded thanks and picked up the phone, stepping outside into the cool air to help stop your blush. If every visit to the laundromat was going to be like this, you were going to have to start bringing a fan.
Tumblr media
“Come during the day or the middle of the night, although I wouldn’t really recommend a pretty girl like you coming here at night alone,” Jimin had told you later that day.
“When do you come?” you asked, praying your blush wouldn’t come back, especially at his words.
“I’m usually here on Thursday afternoons and random nights when I can be bothered.” You nodded your head at this information, but stored it away. And so, you found yourself conveniently needing to do laundry the following Thursday. Your work was flexible, and you left midday to grab lunch and swing by the laundromat to wash some items of clothing that you’d practically dug for in the morning so you’d have something to bring even though you’d just washed all of your stuff a few days before.
You weren’t sure if he’d be there considering it hadn’t been that long, but a smile came onto your face as you opened the door and saw pink hair across the room.
“Back already?” he asked across the laundromat. It wasn’t a very big business, so it only took you a few seconds to let the door swing shut behind you and walk up to him.
“I’ve got a lot to wash,” you replied with a shrug and put your bag down. He looked you up and down with a smirk and you busied yourself with taking your clothing out.
You were not at the laundromat washing your clothes again just so you could see a guy. But the way his eyes scanned you made your skin tingle just like his words the other day had, and you bit your lip again and sorted your laundry. Okay, so maybe you were here to see him again. But it didn’t mean anything, and you might as well make sure your clothes are clean, right? Besides, you were going to have to wash your clothes weekly, so why not wash them on a day you knew someone cute would be there?
This is how you justified making Thursdays your laundry day, and it became routine to go at the same time so you could see Jimin. Every week, you would hop up onto the counter next to him and talk. He almost always had a snack, but you’d started bringing some as well, and the two of you would sit cross legged on the counter and share snacks and stories.
“What do you mean you went on tour with one of the country’s most popular artists?” you asked one day, nearly choking on your food just like the first time you’d met him.
He shrugged and smirked. “I’m a dancer, I got hired to backup for their world tour.”
Your jaw dropped and then you snapped it shut. “Wow, you’re trying really hard to prove me wrong about that whole interesting thing, aren’t you?”
“This isn’t even the beginning,” he said and winked at you.
You hid your blush by tipping your head down so your hair would cover your face.
“What do you do?” he asked you, and you were grateful for the change in topic.
“I’m a video game developer,” you replied, and his eyes got wide.
“No shit, working on anything I’d know of?”
“Probably not,” you laughed. “I work at a small indie company at the moment, but I’m hoping to work my way up in the industry.”
“Don’t forget me when you’re famous,” he said and grabbed your chips out of your lap.
“That’s funny coming from the guy who went on a world tour.”
“What can I say, I’m pretty amazing.”
You rolled your eyes and stole the chips back from him, pouring the remnants into your mouth. He watched as you did this, and you saw his tongue slip out and lick his bottom lip. You lowered the bag and looked at him silently, certain you were blushing outright.
You’d hoped that the way his gaze made your heart skip a beat was just fleeting, something that happened just because he was cute and new and exciting. But as the weeks went by, and you two became genuine friends, the sexual tension between you two only increased. It was always small moments, like him brushing up against you when he’d reach for his laundry, or the way his eyes would travel up and down your body when he thought you weren’t looking, or his finger brushing crumbs away from the corner of your lip as the two of you snacked. It felt as if something were going to happen, but the time was never right. Too many people were there, the buzzer would go off signaling that your laundry was done, your roommate called saying that she’d set the fire alarm off and the whole building was evacuated and she was in a lot of trouble and can you please come home now and talk to the landlord before he kicked both of you out?
It was for this very reason that you hadn’t asked him to hang out outside of the laundromat, not because you didn’t want to see him, but because you knew the second you were alone with him that something would happen. And you wanted it to, almost desperately so, which was exactly why you didn’t see him alone. The way you wanted him was so primal and deliciously tempting that it almost scared you. You liked control, but somehow you knew you’d lose all of that once he had his hands on you.
Not to mention, a man distracting you was the last thing you needed while you worked on your new work project. Things were increasingly coming together on the game you’d been working on, and you didn’t need anything pulling you away from that. Unfortunately, your mind tended to wander despite your wishes against it. Even small things reminded you of him, and before you knew it your legs would be crossed and you’d be biting your lip. Thoughts of Jimin, and what he could do to you and what you could do to him, entered your mind far more than you cared to admit.
“You okay?” your coworker asked one day, and you blinked up from your computer screen and looked at him. You’d been working on more sketches of the main character, but you’d gotten lost in his lips, realizing that they were almost exactly like Jimin’s. The pen in your hand hadn’t moved for the past several minutes as you pondered this.
“Yeah, I’m good,” you replied. The deadline for your proposal was fast approaching, and getting lost in a replica of the hot laundromat guys’ lips wasn’t on the agenda. You cleared your throat and got back to work, but throughout the rest of the day it kept nagging you that maybe resisting Jimin wasn’t the best idea. Perhaps giving in was exactly what you needed.
Tumblr media
“So ummm, please don’t get mad at me,” your roommate, Yerim, said.
“What happened?” you asked. You were curled up on the couch with a glass of wine watching a movie to de-stress, but the second you saw Yerim standing in front of you with your dress, your eyes went wide and you set down your glass.
“I wore this out a few nights ago, and I kinda got a drink spilled on me,” she said sheepishly.
“Yerim, that’s the dress I’m wearing to my presentation at work tomorrow!” you practically screeched and jumped up. You grabbed the dress from her hands and looked at the damage. All down the front of the gray dress was a red stain.
“Why wouldn’t you have told me sooner?” you asked. “Actually, why did you wear this out in the first place?”
“You said I could always borrow your clothes! And I didn’t have any clean dresses, and I was going on a nice date with this new guy and I thought I’d look put together in something of yours. I didn’t know how to tell you after it happened.”
She was pouting, which softened your anger a little bit, but you stood there speechless holding onto the only dress you owned that was professional enough for a formal presentation. You weren’t just hanging around at work sketching tomorrow, you were presenting your new game to a massive company.
“I have to wear this tomorrow,” you groaned.
“You could wear one of my dresses instead?”
You knew your roommate’s wardrobe, and her short party dresses weren’t going to cut it.
“I’ve gotta go see if I can wash this out,” you said and fumbled for your phone. It was already past midnight, and you’d always followed Jimin’s advice to not go to the laundromat alone at night. You shot him a quick text and he replied in a matter of moments.
Yeah, I’ve got some laundry I can do. See you there.
“I’m really sorry!” Yerim yelled as you shut the door behind you and practically ran down the block. You were only in your t-shirt and shorts, having barely had enough time to throw on some sneakers before you’d flown out of your apartment. But thankfully it wasn’t very far, and no one was out to witness the girl wildly running down the sidewalk in pajamas with a dress in her hands.
Jimin was already at the laundromat when you arrived, and you breathed a sigh of relief when you realized he was the only one there.
“Clothing emergency?” he asked, and you held up the dress in front of you so he could see it. “Is that what you said you’re wearing to your presentation tomorrow?”
You just nodded.
“Yikes, okay let’s see what we can do about this.”
He had all the laundry essentials, and he went to work on spraying it and scrubbing as you watched, horrified, at the red stain that surely would not come out.
“Thankfully, I have some experience getting red out of clothing,” he said, and then looked up at you with a smile. “You’re not laughing, that was supposed to be a joke.”
“I’m just really stressed out right now,” you blurted out.
“It’s gonna be okay, Y/N. I’ll get the stain out, we’ll wash your dress, and you’ll be able to give your presentation.”
You nodded your head silently and watched him scrub, and miraculously the stain got lighter and lighter. By the time he was done scrubbing, there was only a faint stain on the dress. You could feel a little bit of your anxiety slip away and let out a sigh of relief.
“Time to wash it now, and if it’s still not out then I’ll give it another scrub.” He put your dress in the washer and then tugged on your hand so you’d jump up onto the counter with him. You hopped up and went to pull your hand away, but he didn’t let go. You watched as he traced patterns into your skin, the familiar tingling sensation you often got when you were around him returning.
“You’re gonna have to wait a while for that to finish, so just try to relax.”
“You realizing telling someone who’s stressed out to relax is the opposite of helpful, right?” you said. Your heart rate was picking up, although you weren’t sure if it was from worrying over your dress and the presentation tomorrow, or the fact that he was pulling your hand, and effectively you, closer to him on the counter.
“What if I can distract you and help relieve some of your stress?” he asked, and when he looked up at you between his lashes you felt a bolt of fire shoot straight through you down to your core.
“What kind of distraction?” you asked, but you knew exactly what he meant. He pulled you closer, his hand now inching up your arm slowly. You swallowed hard but didn’t pull away. You’d been fighting thoughts of Jimin for weeks now, and you didn’t want to any longer.
“You seem to be really stressed whenever you see me,” he said. “Like a tightly wound coil about to spring free.”
“It’s just work,” you said, but both of you knew it wasn’t true. His fingers danced along the sensitive skin on your arm and made you shiver.
“I’m not the only one who feels this, am I?” he asked, and when he looked up at you from beneath his eyelashes, you lost your breath. “Is it just me who wants this so badly?”
You couldn’t find the words to respond right away, but when you did they fell out of your mouth. “I want you so fucking much.”
“Good.” His hand moved up from your arm and wound around your neck to gently pull you closer. “I told you I would be the most interesting person you ever met here, didn’t I?” he asked, and you nodded and let your eyes flutter shut as he leaned in.
You felt his breath on your lips, and you leaned forward until you could feel his against yours. But he didn’t lean in closer, just stayed there, his lips just a faint impression against yours.
“What are you waiting for?” you asked, and you could feel him chuckle against your lips.
“I’m waiting for you to answer.”
You rolled your eyes and leaned forward, but he pulled back and looked you in the eyes, waiting.
“Fine, you did and you were right,” you huffed and leaned forward even more. “Now give me what I’ve been waiting for.” Finally, he leaned into you and pressed his lips against yours. Resisting him in the past had been so, so wrong. You tried to stifle the moan that crept its way up, but his lips were so soft and his hand on your waist was much too delightfully sinful for you to keep quiet.
Your kissing grew feverish, no amount satisfying you enough. He felt you pushing up against him harder, heard your ragged breaths in between kisses and noticed your desperate hands gripping his shirt harder and harder. While his tongue pressed against yours, he gently pushed you backwards until you were lying down on the counter.
You may have imagined lying underneath Jimin before, but you’d never imagined doing it in the laundromat. This didn’t stop you, however, from lifting your knees and trapping Jimin against you, or your hips from slowly rocking against his.
He moaned into your mouth at the sensation. “Fuck, I’ve been wanting this from the moment I saw you.”
“Me too,” you confessed, your voice breathless. The friction was nothing short of bliss, and you picked up your pace against him and his growing erection to help satiate the throbbing between your legs. When you pulled apart for air, you realized something.
“What if someone sees?” you asked, your worry cutting through the cloud of your arousal.
“All the windows are covered,” he said and kissed your neck, causing your hips to jerk up into him.
“But what if someone walks in?”
He chuckled, his laugh reverberating against the soft spot between your neck and your collarbone. “That’s part of the fun, isn’t it?”
Jimin ground harder into you, and your fingers tangled in his hair as both of you devoured each other, no amount of kisses or friction enough. You wrapped a leg around his waist and sighed into his mouth at the closer contact.
“Looks like your dress isn’t the only dirty thing here,” Jimin said, and you gently bit his bottom lip in response.
“You don’t like my jokes?” he asked and pulled backwards, the devilish glint in his eyes suggesting that he knew no matter what joke he made, you were putty beneath him.
“Please just don’t stop,” you whimpered and grabbed at his shirt to pull him back down towards you.
“I won’t, princess,” he promised, and the combination of the pet name paired with him playing with the waistband of your shorts ripped a moan out of you. He toyed with your shorts for a few moments, savoring each time your eyes squeezed shut when you felt his skin brush against yours. Then he slowly pulled your shorts down your legs, inching down with them. Once they were off, he planted kisses up your legs, and you used everything in your power to keep your legs from shaking when he got to your thighs. Your fingers were knotted in his hair as he sucked on your skin, leaving a hickey that you were both infuriated and aroused by.
“Did I say you could mark me?” you asked. You’d hoped to sound stern, but the sight of such a gorgeous man between your legs, and the feeling of his hands on your thighs, made your voice come out in a squeak.
“As if you weren’t going to beg for it anyway,” he replied and sucked on the sensitive skin of your thigh again. You wanted to object, but you could only moan and grip his hair harder.
He began roaming up higher, his breath fanning over your underwear and what lay beneath. Just the heat of him had you squirming, and before you could stop yourself a series of requests spilled from your mouth. You wanted him all over you, on you, inside of you.
“I knew you’d be a beggar,” he said teasingly, but you didn’t even care that he was right, you just needed him.
When you felt his hot breath between your legs you whimpered but kept yourself still, every atom in you buzzing at how close he was to what you needed, what you craved so badly.
“You’re so pretty,” he murmured and then finally gave you what you so desperately wanted. Nothing could have prepared you for the flood of pleasure that rushed through your body when he pushed your underwear to the side and let his tongue finally touch your throbbing center. Your legs were shaking now as he wrapped his tongue around your clit, pushing against it and licking it.
“Please don’t stop,” you begged again, even though you knew he had no intentions of stopping.
He moaned against you and you felt his hand on your thigh inch higher, and then his fingers were inside of you, pumping in and out slowly.
“Oh my god,” you cried. Your thoughts were all muddled, his name spilling out of your lips in broken whimpers. It felt like your entire body was about to crumble every time he thrust his fingers up into you. Your orgasm was building, stealing your breath away as you got closer to tipping over the edge. You were torn between wanting to thrust up into him and pull away, the sensation of him in and on you too much and yet not enough.
He could sense you were close, and you could feel him smile against you, no doubt smirking at how weak you were under his touch.
“Can you cum for me, princess?” he asked, but didn’t wait for an answer. His pace became relentless, and you soon fell apart against his fingers. No sound came from your mouth, you were absolutely breathless for the several seconds of pure bliss that rocked through your body.
Jimin didn’t pull away until you were gasping for air again, and when he did he planted a kiss on your inner thigh and then let your underwear fall back into place before he hopped off of the table. Neither of you had to share a single word to express how good that was, it was clear in his cocky expression and your flushed cheeks.
You’d barely sat upright on the table when you heard the bell for the door ring, and a cranky looking man walked in, looked both of you up and down, and grumbled under his breath before he started loading his laundry. Your heart was going a mile a minute, but you were wearing an oversized t-shirt, and Jimin had quickly pulled apart from you and kicked your shorts under the table before the man had walked in. All it would look like was two people hanging out while waiting for their laundry to be done. At least that’s what you hoped the man thought, because you sure as hell didn’t want him knowing you’d just gotten eaten out on the very table he’d just placed his basket down on the end of.
Jimin cleared his throat and pointed at the machine. “The cycle should be done soon.” His cheeks were a bit pink now too, and you covered your mouth with your hand to stop a giggle from slipping out.
The old man grumbled something again about “youth these days” and left, apparently unconcerned about his laundry being taken in the middle of the night. As soon as the door swung shut you broke out into laughter and Jimin did too. He came up close to you and pulled you to the edge of the table, and you wrapped your legs around him. Your stomach flipped when you realized how natural it felt having him there in front of you, between your legs with his arms around you.
“When can I return the favor?” you asked. You didn’t know how he’d concealed his boner from the stranger, because the bulge in his pants was incredibly obvious. His lips were swollen and even more pink and plump than normal, and you smoothed his hair down that you’d previously been clutching.
“Unfortunately not anytime soon, considering that man already thinks we’re up to something,” he sighed.
“How about you come back to my place after my dress is done?” you asked before you even thought it through. You rarely brought men home, mostly because your roommate would badger you about it for weeks afterward. But you didn’t want things to end here, tonight, in this dingy laundromat. What you’d had wasn’t enough, not by a long shot. Maybe you were selfish, but you wanted so much more of him. Not just physically, either.
“Don’t you have a presentation to give tomorrow?” he asked, but the glint in his eyes and the smile creeping at the edge of his lips betrayed his concern.
“I’m starting to think you were right, you’re a very good stress reliever,” you replied.
“Well then it would almost be criminal for me to not help you out,” he said. “You know, since you’re so stressed about the presentation.”
“Exactly.” You smiled and pulled him even closer to you.
“Although I’m not gonna lie, I wonder what it would feel like to have you pressed up against the dryer when it’s on,” he said, and you swatted your hand against his chest.
“I’ll have to get my own washer and dryer for you to experience that.” You looked pointedly at the washing machine that was cleaning the stranger’s clothes. It had already been a close call, and you weren’t trying that one again.
“I’d be more than happy to help you install them,” Jimin said. “In fact, maybe then I can start doing my laundry at yours.”
“That’s not part of the deal. My washer, my laundry.”
“Then we’ll start with your sheets,” he quipped. “You’ll probably want to wash those after we’re done.”
You groaned at his comment and buried your face in his chest, but you couldn’t stop your mind from thinking about all the things you’d be doing on those very sheets with the handsome man in front of you. Who knew doing laundry could be so fun?

Conserving Your Energy Using the 4 P’s
Everyone has experienced the challenge of trying to conserve enough energy to get the everyday things done on our to do list and when you have arthritis it can really complicate the situation by limiting the amount of energy you have and interfering with your ability to do those everyday activities, work, and enjoying that precious time with your family and friends. But, there are some pretty simple things you can do everyday of your life to help you use your energy wisely. These energy-saving techniques are what is called the 4 “P’s”: pacing, planning, prioritizing, and positioning.
Pacing: It’s the key to helping you maintaining your energy levels all day long. You will take a look at your activities and break them down into baby steps with alternating rest periods. Think about the steps you need to take to complete a task or activity, and then try to work through them taking your time and at your own speed. Don’t rush it! Rushing is stressful even though you will get done much faster and in the end you would have used more energy then you really needed to. Allow yourself plenty of time to get the task done and don’t forget to take several rest periods in between. You may just find that you actually have more energy for later. The right way to pace yourself is to learn to listen to your body, that way your able to determine just what level of activity works for you. If you do too much activity you will end up excessively fatigued or in too much pain, yet too little can cause you to loose muscle strength and will undo any conditioning you may already have. Learning just how much you can do before you get tired and stopping to rest will help you to keep from depleting your energy supply completely and you’ll end up with some in reserve. Learning to rest your mind as well as your body is equally important and if you’re worrying about what you have to do next you will probably not be getting the full benefits of your rest time. You should try to keep your activities and rest times consistent and automatic so that you will always stay within your energy limits. Keeping a journal or diary, documenting your energy levels at different times in your day will help you to see when you feel your best and when you feel your energy levels going down. You will want to write down the activity you were doing when you began to feel your energy starting to go down. This helps you to learn what activities you can tolerate and you’ll begin to get ideas on some simple changes you can make in your daily routine to help you keep up your energy levels. The first thing you will want to do is to break down the task or activity into baby steps. For instance: Let’s say that today is laundry day, you can break it down like this; step 1- gather all the laundry; step 2 – separate it into different loads; step 3 – washing and drying; step 4 – folding and hanging up clothes and putting them away. By doing your laundry this way you will be able to rest after you have gathered up, separated and put the first load in to be washed and then dried. Then while the second load is washing and drying you can fold the first load, you see, sitting doesn’t require near as much energy as standing does. Also, simple changes, like delegating chores to other members of your family can leave you with more energy for other daily tasks.
Planning: You need effective planning for proper pacing. You should look ahead a day, a few days or even a week so that you can develop some kind of a strategy to get your activities done. Make a to-do list of the things you want to get done or do, that can be accomplished in a day so that you can plan the best time to do each activity. If mornings are your best time then you should probably plan your more strenuous activities for time or if you have more energy after a nap, you might want to schedule that time to run your errands or do work activities that require you to be more physical or for you to think a little bit more. But, you will still need to plan your rest time sometime during the day so that you can replenish your energy levels. Using a calendar or a planner can help you to schedule your activities over the week so that you aren’t doing all you strenuous work in the same day. The first thing to do is to look at all the things you want to do or need to accomplish in a week, and sort of grade them according to how much energy it take to get each done, like low, medium and high. The second thing is to spread the high energy activities over the week so you don’t do too many of them in one day and end up so exhausted that it takes you several days to get regain your energy levels back. Remember, that doing too many high energy draining activities in one day can lead to an arthritis or fibromyalgia flare that can take several day or several weeks to get over. When you keep a list of the things you want to accomplish, you’ll be able to keep track of what you have already done and what you have left to do. This will give you a sense of accomplishment that is positive when you take a look back at just what you were able to accomplish. Also, remember that you will need to be somewhat flexible with your schedule because it will allow you to do activities that are enjoyable and that you might otherwise have missed out on because you were to exhausted to do them.
Prioritizing: Learning to decide what you should do first, prioritizing, can be of a great help when you are trying to conserve energy. It can also be one of the most challenging to master because it requires you to take a really close look at all you work, household, leisure and recreational activities and then decide which ones are the most important and necessary and even enjoyable to you. Here are some questions you may want to ask yourself when you’re trying to decide which activities are more important to you.
What is the most important priorities to me in my life? My job, household activities, or maybe my family and friends?
Where do I want to direct my energy to? What’s most important to me?
How can I get the best balance between work and play in my life?
How can I get more rest and relaxation times into my day that will help me to regain my energy supplies.
Can I make my daily chores more simplified so that I have more energy leftover at the end of my day to do the things I enjoy?
Is there anything that I really have to do that can’t be delegated out to someone else or that someone else can perhaps help me with.
You will want to prioritize the most important activities and delegate those that are less important to someone else in your family. Delegating can be difficult if you are the type of person who has always had the attitude that you must do it all by yourself, but if you approach it in a more positive way by realizing that you are helping yourself to conserve your energy levels, it will make it easier. Who knows, you may actually be helping others in your household or even in your work place, by teaching them to accept responsibility. When you network with family, friends, and neighbors to help you complete the tasks at hand, like carpooling your kids to activities, then you just might be helping them to learn to conserve their energy also.
Positioning: When you take a look at how you position your body or your body mechanics, you might get other ideas on how to conserve your energy. When you watch how you position yourself as you are going through your day, you will be able to identify some ways to do your daily chores using less energy which can help you to protect your joints from any excess strain. Listed below are a few examples of techniques you can introduce into your daily routine to help you conserve your energy:
Sitting rather standing because sitting takes less energy from your body and reduces stress on your leg joints. By using a shower stool while showering or sitting to get dressed may help to reduce the energy you would otherwise use to do these activities.
If you must stand to accomplish a task, and to ease the stress and fatigue on your back, try propping one foot on a step-stool or on the inside of a lower cabinet.
Good posture while you are sitting and standing will help to relieve any fatigue on your neck, back and shoulders. This involves keeping your ears lined up with your shoulders and your shoulders lined up with your hips, and make sure that your head isn’t leaning too far forward.
Organizing your work areas so that everything you need is within reach can help you to avoid any unnecessary reaching, bending and stooping. Having duplicate items around the house can help to eliminate any unnecessary trips between rooms. A cart that you have organized with the items you will need or a light weight organizer basket, or a storage bin that you can carry items in, are other ways that can help you to avoid any unnecessary reaching, bending, and stooping.
Having your work surfaces at the proper height for you can help to promote good posture and reduce the fatigue that comes from poor posture. You will want your work surface to be just at your elbow height and when you are sitting it should be just below your elbow height.
To simplify your daily activities try using devices that can assist you in doing those activities. Such items as reachers, long-handled sponges, brushes, and dusters, and jar openers, are just to name a few, that can help you when you are trying to conserve your energy.
Lastly, you will need to breath during your activities. I know that sounds kind of weird, but there is a proper way to breath so that you can maintain your energy levels and help you to relax. To start with, pay attention to how you’re breathing and if your chest is moving up and down when you breath then you are breathing wrong, it shouldn’t be moving at all. You want your belly area to move instead. When you breath in, your belly area should expand and as you let out the breath your belly area should compress or go in. Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth very slowly. For you women out there, think about when you were in labor with your children and every time you had a contraction you were told to breath in right before it and out during it. It’s the same concept. If you practice this method of breathing and pay attention to how you are breathing during your activities, it will soon become natural and it will become a habit.
Occupational therapist are professionals that are trained to help you make these and other changes in your the way you do your daily task. If you have arthritis an occupational therapist can recommend techniques and devices that can help to protect your joints from any excess strain. They are also able to help you change your work and your home to make them more manageable. Your doctor can recommend an occupational therapist if you decide that you need this kind of help.
If you take the time to think about all the thing you want to do or need to do, it can be a bit overwhelming. But, if you can accept the fact that you will have some difficulties that are manageable, ahead of you, then you will begin to make the changes in your daily life that can help you to conserve your energy. Remember that the changes you make will, in the long run, improve your quality of life and you will feel that you are in control of your energy resources.

I am soooooo mad at my sister rn (again) so im just gonna rant under a cut
Things about living with my sister that piss me off:
1. She relies on me for EVERYTHING. We don’t have sponges or dish soap right now because I ALWAYS get them, but I asked her to this time and she said she would... three weeks ago. It’s from the dollar store two blocks from our house, so I’m not asking her to go a long way away, or to spend a lot of money... it should be so simple. And this is the third time something like this has happened, the first being...
2. The Toilet Incident. This is a whole item of its own because it was so disgusting and unequivocally her fault. She has her own half-bathroom that she says “doesn’t exist as far as I’m concerned.” She says this because I told her she can’t trash “my” bathroom as it’s the only one I’ve got. (Side note, that doesn’t matter when she has guests coming over and i have to clean her clothes out of my bathroom). Anyway, she  clogged up the shared toilet with literal, actual shit. I was the first to find out it was clogged and it overflowed a little, and I had to use my personal bath towel to mop it up. I told her to deal with it, to go to the dollar store that is, again, 2 blocks away, and get a plunger, and she just. Didn’t. For a week and a half I was waiting to pee until I left for class or sneaking past her and her boyfriend while they slept so I could use her bathroom. Er, sorry, I meant the void I can’t look directly at because it doesn’t exist to me. Either way, I peed in it.
That’s not even the end of it. I left an angry note on the toilet for her to “GET A FUCKING PLUNGER” that she just threw away, and finally I told her “Today. It has to be today.” I had a few ideas of what the implied “or else” would entail, some involving poison ivy in her underwear drawer, or throwing her clothes behind our apartment, and frankly I almost did it anyway. Because she agreed to go get a plunger that same day. And then immediately invited her friends over to hang out. I don’t know about you, but unless they’re my best friend and they’re going to cheer me on while I hang up clothes, I don’t invite people over so I can run errands and do chores. That’s when I knew she was ignoring me. Again. So, despite it not being my literal, actual shit encrusting the main toilet, I went and got a plunger. I was still determined not to be the one to actually do it, because it was disgusting and you have to draw the line somewhere, but I just wanted it done at this point. So to make it even easier, I got my sister a pair of dish gloves, because I knew I’d want them. Even after all this literal and figurative shit, I was still trying to be nice.
So I bring the gear back to our place and I tell her that I got it, so whenever she’s ready to deal with it... She says “Oh. Thanks.” and goes back to talking with her friends. I putz around for a few more minutes, but now I have to pee. And I’m on the edge of going crazy. If she doesn’t deal with this problem right. Fucking. now, I’m gonna lose my entire mind. So, I get the plunger and put it in her hand. Literally place the damn thing in her awful, grubby, disrespectful, irresponsible fingers. She doesnt move. I have to beg her to go deal with it, in front of her friends (I’m sure she would’ve ignored me if they weren’t there), before she finally got up and made the toilet usable again. And you know what? She didn’t even scrub it. I did that. It was disgusting.
3. Money. This one is equal parts paranoia and justification for that paranoia. So we don’t have a lot of groceries in the house. The last time we did a big shopping trip was maybe a month ago. I picked up the tab for that, about $50. We got a lot of unnecessary stuff, mostly at her behest, but enough that I could make a few meals and we were both satisfied. She says she’ll pay me back over venmo, I say sure. On the way back we stop for gas, and this bitch. Oh, this bitch. She has not yet paid me back for the groceries, and at the gas station she starts trying to convince me to pay for the gas, because “You don’t fill up the tank ever because you don’t drive [our shared car] as much.” Yeah, no shit I don’t pay $25 to fill up the tank when I only use $5 of gas. I put in $5 of gas whenever I drive somewhere (I’m aquaintances with this one guy at this one gas station, I get a coffee and a few bucks of gas, it’s a good time). I tell her, “I just dropped $50 on groceries, you pick up the $25 gas and we’ll call it even,” even though that’s pretty forgiving on my part. She paid for gas, but even then she was huffy about it.
Small thing, she keeps borrowing quarters for laundry and then doesn’t pay me back.
She also keeps forgetting that I pay $50/mo for wifi, and says I owe her half the utilities, but doesn’t split the cost of wifi. Example: the gas bill last month was $84 total. She tells me I owe her $42, half, right? So I pay $42. Then I tell her she owes me $25 for the wifi, half, right? and she tells me “Well the electric was $25 total so how about I just put it towards that and you don’t have to pay any of it?” Um... what? The electric bill would only cost me $12.50 after splitting... where’s my other $12.50? I’ve learned my lesson at this point; we each cover the first $50 of utilities and split the rest, so she says “This month was $84, that’s $42 each,” and I say “No, we split $34, that’s $17 each.” It works out okay as long as I don’t let her get ahold of the money in the first place.
Now, this is where the paranoia comes in. I’m not sure she’s actually paying the bills with the money I give her. My (now ex) boyfriend lived with us for a few months, and when he moved out he gave her a chunk of cash that was more than enough to cover the last utility bills that would come along after he moved out. Then we go to dinner with our third sister, and she says “oh yeah, I can’t wait for my paycheck so I can finally pay the bills.” I look at her, and I’m like “Didn’t [REDACTED] give you the money to pay the bills like, 2 weeks ago?”
Both sisters ended up turning on me and thinking I’m dumb because “it doesn’t have to be the exact same money that he gave her, duh.” I mean, not technically, but when someone gives you money for something and you use it for something else, that’s kinda shady, even though she was going to pay the bills with her next paycheck. That’s something that absolutely happened, and I feel like that’s a precedent.
Now, I keep finding utility bills that are from at least a few weeks prior that say past due and are for way more than she told me (one from Feb 22nd said our account balance is around $150). I’ve seen the month to month statements, and she always brushes off my concerns, but I’m worried that she’s not paying our bills on time and trying to cover up the late notices. That might just be paranoia, but the whole thing is very confusing to me and it feels like she’s lying to me. She might just be paying them late within the month, and nothing has been shut off yet, but I worry.
3. Laundry. So, this one is a little bit on me, and the second story is about what set off this rant today.
First incident, she poked her head in my room one morning, I’d just woken up, and she said “I’ll pay you ten bucks to do my laundry and reimburse you for the quarters.” Good deal, right? I just have to keep an eye on the machines, it’ll take 3 hours, tops. I agree, and I get her stuff done, and then I get a text that just says “fold them.” Now, in my mind, running the machines and folding the clothes are two separate jobs. So I tell her “No, that wasn’t part of the deal.” We go back and forth, I don’t end up folding them, and she says she’s only gonna pay me $4 for running the machines, plus the quarters. I was pissed about that, because we had a deal and she shouldn’t get to just change the rules on me like that, but it turns out some of the clothes in the basket are still damp... whoops. Now the $4 (plus the $6 in quarters) seems generous. I didn’t know they were damp and I do feel bad about giving her a hard time for the fee when it was subpar work, but we move on. 3 weeks later she finally sends me the money (also 3 weeks? seriously?? I needed those quarters to do my own laundry.)
AND HERE WE ARE. A few days ago I took my laundry over to my dad’s house because I once again am out of quarters (I also couldn’t find my debit card to go get them, but that’s beside the point). I have about 2 hours before I have to go to work, and we have 2 loads of laundry to do, one with just my (top priority) clothes, and one with both of our bedding. My dad’s dryer takes longer than I thought, so I take most of the wet clothes out and just do my work clothes plus a few others. My sister says she’ll make sure that the rest of my clothes get done and she’ll bring them back the next day. My dad lives about 45 min away from us, so the next time she’s going to be near there I ask to come with... only I have work again and have to be back early. She doesn’t want to go home early, so she says she’ll get my clothes and bring them back.
We miss connections for a couple days, she’s at work or I am, she’s in class or I am, but my clothes are in the car and I can’t get to them. Yesterday I wore a pair of leggings as underwear. It was unpleasant. Finally, today, we’re in the same place at the same time, and I go down to eh car to get my desperately needed clothes. Only guess what basket she brought back, after telling me over and over that yes she had my clothes specifically. If you guessed the fucking bedding, you’d be correct. As grateful as I am to no longer be sleeping on a bare mattress, she only prioritized the load that included her things. Maybe I’m overreacting, but It feels like a massive slap to the face. It feels like she’s being selfish, and unreliable, and I am so tired of trusting her to do anything. I’m tired of trusting her being necessary. So today, as I go to a family party with no underwear on, I’m just going to fume and reconsider the poison ivy.
