I mean that trailer literally didn’t show anything last like the first few days of the game from the look of it so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions of “definitely/definitely not happening” yet but Answer stuff has a better chance of being in there at least compared to FeMC

It just feels dumb to me you have all this stuff that is canon and shows up later gams (ie Theodore, Aigis’ wildcard status being mentioned in Arena, Erebus, etc) why would you NOT take the chance to put them all in one proper place for new fans?

But just because it makes sense and would make the series’ lore more accessible doesn’t actually mean they’ll do it so idk. I can see it going either way

Ok so at the moment

Seidr is the Gullveig of the present which is why she couldn’t find her sooner (shout out to @ravenoftheskyes for calling this)

Heidr dies from the Seer’s curse and this turns her into a bunch of snakes

Gullveig/Seidr/Kvasir are going through some sort of weird Timeloop thing and for some reason Kvasir knows this and Gullveig knows this but Seidr doesn’t.

So basically, Seidr becomes Gullveig, destroys everything, then resets to Kvasir and this loop has happened at least once since Kvasir is aware of it (or Kvasir just has the ability to see the future) and we’re going to find out Seidr doesn’t know this because Njordr is a dick and did something probably and then he’s gonna die and never get a base form in the game.

So not really that weird, just think of it like a one of those Doctor Who episodes with multiple Doctors. Like they’re all the same person with time travel powers.

And now I genuinely think our kid is just not going to show up actually, like that’s gonna get dropped or whatever, or breaking the curse has to do with us having the kid but the kid won’t be a proper character

Sonia ADOPTED Nino and preceded to be a bitch to her. Plus if you consider her to also be Lloyd and Linus's mom (since she married their dad) that's triple bad parenting

At the same time, Sombron drowned one of his kids, fed one to the risen, killed Alear twice, tried to commit identity murder on Veyle, and in Fellyos, actively pitted his children against each other, then made Rafal take Nil's place after he died specifically to betray Nel (and in general just fucked Rafal up alot)

So while Sombron's bodycount for his own kids is probably in the triple digits, which is utterly terrible, don't get me wrong, Sonia went out of her way to adopt a child and preceded to abuse her in a way that (presumably) fucked with Nino's confidence in her own parenting which led to her leaving Lugh and Raigh at an orphanage. Congrats, Sonia, that's multi-generational trauma inflicted way after your death

Where’s that thing about like. There’s a certain point where characters who do really big over the top crimes like devouring planets or some shit aren’t a hateable as characters who could plausibly exist in real life like a character’s abusive ex because the latter is more personal?

That’s kinda my feeling with Sonia Vs Sombron like he is over the top negligent and evil, she is unfortunately much closer to real life.

Also Sonia likes and respects Nergal and does whatever he says but EVEN THEN goes out of her way to fuck up Nino, THAT’S HOW MUCH SHE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND BEING A CUNT

Conceptually I don't think it would have been hard to come up with a reason why Dimitri might turn on Rhea either. Let's say that the Kingdom and Church army manages to get the Empire and Alliance army to retreat but Claude and Edelgard manage to fall behind making sure their armies get out, and Rhea goes to kill them. Dimitri tries to stop her but he can only save one, with a branching path; If Edelgard gets killed, Dimitri gets pissed because regardless of if she started a war, that's still his sister (let's say the Flame Emperor wasn't a thing) so he rescues Claude, the Empire is destabilized and the Church takes over. Claude fills Dimitri in so now they're working together against the church.

But if Claude gets killed, Hubert saves Edelgard before they can converse, and Edelgard takes over the Alliance Army per Claude and Count Gloucester's request, etc. and regular TWSITD/Edelgard Final Boss

Yeah makes sense. For a game about choices it’d be interesting to have more of them?

Predictions for the fallen banner? I wouldn't be surprised if it's 3 Hopes and Engage centric but I can't imagine the community would be very happy about more Fodlan banners
