Two days ago was the movie "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. Enjoyed watching it specially the one with Whoopie Goldberg a.k.a. Oda Mae/Rita Miller's part. A movie classic that somehow opened the concept about death, about good and evil and how to experience falling in-love and the feeling when it was taken away from you. But tonight's movie was a 2002 Filipino Classic of Regine Velasquez and Richard Gomez (Katherine and Ryan) who fell in-love unexpectedly with each other. When one was ready to commit, one feared it. The movie wanted to tell us, which I also believe, that each of us has a match that we will meet someday soon. But the metaphor that was used here was through a "Slipper." This was the time when Ryan asked about his father's thought if there's something wrong about him after of the two most recent failed relationship. The father then played by Jaime Fabregas said that today we are excited about getting leather shoes along with its beautiful design. But coming home you still wear and look for your favorite slippers. Which was later on explained as Ryan's perfect match. Love the latter part of the movie where Ryan were at the park seated on his favorite bench read a note which says... "Katherine Mahal Kita!" And woke up to his senses when he found out that there was a reply which says... "Ikaw Lamang Hanggang Ngayon" (which was the title of the movie), looked from a far and there he found Katherine walking towards him. Just hate the part with Yam Laranas decision to make the camera moved 360 degrees, (rotating) I felt dizziness with that shot. But the love story was so lovely.
