During that week, I was so attached with Arrival and desperately in need of understanding the message as I didn't get the puzzle at first. I knew it's an old movie which dated three years ago. However, when the ending hits you like a ton of bricks and I literally got teary eyed over it, Arrival had really impacted me then! The concept was showed perfectly through the movie.

"Louise can tell the future"

The main character is a linguist, Louise Banks (played by Amy Adams)

So I searched for keywords on Google on linguistics and it said "linguistics is a major that gives you insight into one of the most intriguing aspect of human knowledge and behaviour and majoring in linguistics means that you will learn about many aspects of human language" (and I was like snap! that's what Louise doing! And so the aliens, Abbott and Costello)

The lesson that makes this movie more interesting is how the language expert is the one who speak the softest and the best listener.

What else so interesting about Arrival 2016?

When Costello told Louise that she can tell the future, poof! You suddenly got goosebumps that all 'flashbacks' are actually flash forward.

And so I began to read comments that popped out online 'in fact Louise can't tell the future because she's always living in it, past, present and future, at every moment. So those are not flashbacks nor flashforwards but only flash!'

- what a marvelous concept indeed!

It's simply an amazing film. Definitely recommended for a rewatch if you have watched it.
