thinking about the scene where rak asks mut if he wasn't afraid of people seeing him kiss a guy and not even going to make it about him being queer because not sure if that will be a predominant topic, apart from this scene (probably not, given the vibes) but usually when someone says they don't care about what people think, they care a great deal. especially after seeing how he reacts to praise and compliments. finding out people used to mock him. oh and it being said that he has had a lot of people always expecting a lot of him (his father included, most likely). not to mention that, in spite of not doubting he's a good person and genuinely likes to help others, i find that that need stemmed, if only just a bit, from wanting to prove something and caring enough about changing people's perspective on him. just thoughts being thought

lrb but do you know what? Da-Ge throwing himself in front of the hypothetical trolley is like. Yeah he might die but he could stop that trolley. He's a strong dude. No one else would have to die if Da-Ge could succeed, maybe he'd even live to fight more trolleys another day, which is metaphorically his only reason to continue living as he's kinda already chosen death.

But if JGY did that Da-Ge's way he'd just get bodied by the trolley. Just straight up flattened as the trolley moves on unimpeded. He's gotta have an alternative plan if he wants to make any effect, or he *would* be no different to the other hapless people getting squished by the trolley. But he makes himself different.
