I'm not even a hardcore fan. But Ik a good number of my students (many of whom have gone through SA experiences, like me myself) are. And I'll be damned if I can't express my sympathy for them and others without being told that I'm prioritising the fandom over the women affected.

thinking about the scene where rak asks mut if he wasn't afraid of people seeing him kiss a guy and not even going to make it about him being queer because not sure if that will be a predominant topic, apart from this scene (probably not, given the vibes) but usually when someone says they don't care about what people think, they care a great deal. especially after seeing how he reacts to praise and compliments. finding out people used to mock him. oh and it being said that he has had a lot of people always expecting a lot of him (his father included, most likely). not to mention that, in spite of not doubting he's a good person and genuinely likes to help others, i find that that need stemmed, if only just a bit, from wanting to prove something and caring enough about changing people's perspective on him. just thoughts being thought
