Meet Seth Brogan From BLUESTONE & VINE

The following is a guest blog from BLUESTONE & VINE author, Donna Kauffman!

Normally my heroes are inspired solely by my own inspiration, seen only in my mind’s eye, then, eventually, in the eyes of my readers.

You see, I don’t typically write about men who look like Nordic Vikings. I write small town contemporary romance. Not exactly a hotbed of Viking activity.

Until Seth.

I also don’t typically write about men who wear their hair in a long braid down the center of their back. (Their broad, broad, so deeply muscled back.) Much less men with stout, if perfectly groomed beards. I’m not much of a facial hair kinda gal, and hence, it’s rare that my heroines are either, because I need to be on board to get them on board, if you know what I mean.

(Say it with me...) Until Seth.

I was just stumbling around Instagram, like you do, when I stumbled across...well...Seth. In all his amazingly tall, braided, bearded, Viking glory. (Okay, okay, so in reality Real Seth is a member of the Royal Norwegian Navy, not an actual Viking, but come on...you can see it, right?)  

I couldn’t get him out of my mind. (And honestly, why would I want to?)

So when it came time to cast the town of Blue Hollow Falls, and give the hero in the first book in the series, Sawyer Hartwell, his comrade in arms, best friend, and, yes, possible hero of the second book in the series, well...Seth Brogan came immediately to mind.

You can possibly see why.  

You first met Seth in Blue Hollow Falls, along with his brand new winery, and his lovelorn llama, Dexter.  (Because, of course he has a lovelorn llama. ) Now I hope you’ll read his very own love story in Bluestone & Vine.
