23 March 2022 || The Duchess of Cambridge carried out engagements at the Shortwood Teacher's College and Spanish Town Hospital in Kingston along with Prince William on their second day in Jamaica while touring the Caribbean on behalf of the Queen.

WALK, WALK, FASHION BABY | In the evening of her first day in Jamaica, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a 1950's vintage dress from Willow Hilson. She teamed the new dress with Russell and Bromley "Impulse" slingbacks and her "Cha Cha" earrings by Maria Black. Her first local piece of the tour was the gold bangle worn on her arm, from Lashawndla Bailey-Miller

please rank Kate's outfits! There's been such a variety this tour: some hits, some misses, and some looks that were good in abstract but (IMO) weren't entirely appropriate for the event

This tour had one outfit I hated, two outfits I loved, and 15 outfits in between.

18. Alessandra Rich dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Ferragamo clutch, Patrick Mavos earrings

Pros: Her hair is nice

Cons: This is the world’s ugliest outfit. She’s wearing a curtain turned into a bad dress. There’s a weird jewel on it. It looks like a Diana reject. I hate it

17. RIXO dress, Castaner shoes, Emmy London clutch, Nadia Irena earrings

Pros: The pattern isn’t hideous up close. I love the local designer for the earrings and her hair is incredible. Also, I was wearing the same shoes at the same time so 10/10

Cons: The shape is not good. What is going on with that waist?

16. Vintage Yves Saint Laurent Jacket; Alexander McQueen White Trousers, Aquazzura shoes, Mulberry bag, Anthropologie earrings, Halcyon Days bangles

Pros: It’s not new, I guess. Also, Kate in red is always good

Cons: She looks like she’s off to judo practice

15. Emilia Wickstead dress, Gianvito Rossi heels, UFO clutch, Sezane earrings

Pros: The colour is nice and the fit is good

Cons: This dress is the epitome of meh. It’s so boring

14. Self-portrait dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Nadia Irena earrings

Pros: The material looks lovely and light and I’m always a fan of local designers. I also love self-portrait as a brand so…

Cons: This is the worst self-portrait dress I’ve ever seen. Plus, I’m not a fan of white shoes

13. Jenny Packham dress, Emmy London shoes, UFO clutch, UFO earrings and necklace

Pros: This is 100% traditional KMiddy tour attire and I am here for it. I also tolerate the lace

Cons: Have I ever mentioned that I hate peplums? I also don’t like the neckline

12. Alexander McQueen suit, Ridley London top, Jimmy Choo shoes, Willow Hilson bag, Maria Black earrings, Lashawndla Bailey-Miller bangle and bracelet

Pros: I love Alexander McQueen so I’m always happy when Kate wears them. Also, a SUIT! We’ve also got a local designer for jewellery and another vintage item

Cons: I don’t think anyone should wear white suits. It’s not a good look

11. Gill Marine shirt, UFO shorts, Decathlon jacket, Superga shoes, UFO hat, Spells of Love earrings

Pros: SHORTS

Cons: This look is so forgettable I forgot to put it in my outfit round up and, more importantly, no one else mentioned it either

10. Alexander McQueen dress, Emmy London heels, Anya Hindmarch clutch, Philip Treacy hat, HM’s earrings, Diana’s bracelet

Pros: She looked like an actual angel. McQueen does white lace very well. Big fan of the hat

Cons: It’s a bit boring. I also don’t like the bottom of the dress at all

9. John Lewis top, G-Star trousers, Superga shoes, Spells of Love earrings

Pros: Lara Croft vibes. This look reminds me of the one she wore to climb to the Tigers’ Nest Monastery in Bhutan

Cons: It reminds me of the less good, cheap version of her Bhutan look. Bring back her Zara trousers and Really Wild boots pls and thx

8. Emilia Wickstead dress, Gianvito Rossi shoes, Kiki McDonough earrings, HM’s brooch

Pros: Repeat dress! This is so much better than the first time she wore it. I love the hair and the brooch is phenomenal, well done Jamaica

Cons: We didn’t see it very long

7. Willow Hilson vintage dress, Russell and Bromley shoes, Maria Black earrings, Lashawndla Bailey-Miller bangle

Pros: Bright, colourful, vintage!! And a local designer for the bangle

Cons: This is the outfit that feels the least like something I could imagine Kate would wear in Britain and, while that’s not a bad thing, it holds me back from loving this

6. John Lewis top, G-Star trousers, Scotch and Soda jacket, Palladium shoes, Spells of Love earrings

Pros: Everything I said about this outfit earlier but I like it even more with the jacket. Honestly. It moved up 3 places.

Cons: It was so expected. I want some surprises KMids

5. Vampire’s Wife gown, Jimmy Choo heels, Xe'il Belize clutch, O’Nitaa earrings

Pros: THE COLOUR. Pink and stunning. I also love the shape of the sleeves. It works really well within the context of the tour, especially considering her later looks. This gives me 2022 KMiddy vibes

Cons: I’m not a Vampire’s Wife fan and the material is just not it. Imagine it in chiffon.

4. Philippa Lepley gown, Gianvito Rossi heels, Lulu Guinness clutch, Van Cleef & Arpels necklace and earrings

Pros: Cinderella has arrived at the ball. I adore the bows on the shoulders. Bridal gowns are made for Catherine. Honestly, this was a toss up with 3 and could have swapped. Strangely, this dress gives me 2011 newly minted Duchess of Cambridge vibes

Cons: Who spends more than £2000 on shoes? This girl. I’m also not a satin person.

3. Jenny Packham gown, HM’s Emerald Tassel Parure earrings, HM’s Emerald Tassel Parure bracelet

Pros: GREEN. The tulle was phenomenal. The sparkles but not too many sparkles. The orders. The hair. It’s off the shoulder. I loved it. This was 2018 Princess Catherine at her peak

Cons: It’s Jenny Packham. Again.

2. Tory Burch dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes/Superga shoes, Anya Hindmarch clutch, Sezane earrings

Pros: I saw this and fell in love. The 2014 accessories. The colours. The sunglasses. This is 100% a dress I could see Catherine wearing on her summer holidays to the Isles of Scilly. We started so well

Cons: Imagine this dress, but by a Belizean designer

1. Roksanda dress, Aquazzura shoes, Ferragamo clutch, Sezane earrings

Pros: YELLOW. Honestly, the hair, the bow, the dress. This is a better version of the Catherine Walker dress she wore for Philip’s funeral. The colour is so bright. It’s soft and gentle and also powerful. 10/10

Cons: I hate the shoes #sorry
