the pics are from 2009, they were part of the dorm attack interview during Romeo promotions but also, both Onew and Minho have lighter hair than replay, and Jjong had the same haircut of various lengths until he went lasagna for RDD

I love this question ahdhsahdhad Every time, I take out a chair and reminisce lol. 

Okay so! A friend of mine introduced me to SHINee by showing me Ring Ding Dong in May 2010. As soon as Jjong appeared with his lasagna hair belting out BAAAABAAAAAY, I knew I was in. 

So I wasn’t there from the beginning, but still pretty early on and I had seen some k-pop stuff in 2009 (4minute/GD).

The hardest possible question to ask me D: *le gasp*: Mmhhh….

There are four that immediately pop up in my mind but then I only have one spot left *nervous breathing* 

Let’s start easy….looks rated in no particular order. 

1. There are actually people out there who don’t appreciate the gloriousness that was Jonghyun’s RDD hair but here I am appreciating it for all of them. This is how he looked when I fell head over heels for him so I will always treasure lasagna!jjong with all my heart. 

2. The reddish brown he had for their Japanese debut in 2011 until later that year. The lion!pup look takes my breath away until today. Look how cute and adorable it makes him look!!!!! It was also pre colored contact lenses, pre excessive make-up etc. It was still very natural, and cute, and soft and ;-; Lion!pup ♡ I could look at those photos from that immortal song recording forever. 

3. Sherlock Jonghyun! It was the rise of “Jonghyun wants to show off what he has worked hard for” and gave us photos such as this one. *sobs silently* But while he gained a lot of muscle mass during that time he still looked like a total bub as can be seen in the second photo! HOW PRECIOUS CAN YOU EVEN LOOK!!!!!!! *inserts the gif of the little girl with her unicorn plush from the minions here*

4. Now we make a jump! His whole aesthetic during Story Op. 1 was like goals. He looked sooooo beautiful! The blond hair, the hats he was wearing, the sweaters, turtlenecks, the skinny jeans! This was a look of perfection. I mean have you seen anything more beautiful???? No, you haven’t….I’m sure. the hats in combination with the light hair just worked so well ;-; So soft and so beautiful! I think style wise this was the peak in Jonghyun’s wardrobe aesthetic for me personally. If I could pull it off I would run around like that myself. 

and now to 5..oh my oh my oh my….There are stil so many styles I cherish and love. Ehhhhh….I can’t really decide between cherryblossom!jjong and everybody!jjong. It’s so hard. D: I think I go with Everybody anyway because it gave us looks like this, and as we already established I love Jonghyun with hats.

SHINee: GODDDDDD okay so i really like key’s RDD hair but jjong had the lasagna hair thing going on. I’m going to say lucifer-sherlock because taemins-long hair, onews longer than usual hair and it was curly in sherlock and i like keys blonde !!

also i really appreciate the hairstylists that not only decided to give jjong the lasagna hair but also made it happen like can you imagine how hard it must have been to get the right ratio of products and to separate the hair to get the shades right and in the right places honestly bless their souls
