Sobre Ingrid Bergman.

La actriz sueca Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982) se casa con el dentista sueco-americano (más tarde recapacitación como neurocirujano) Petter Lindström (1907-2000) el 10 de julio de 1937, a la edad de 21 años.

Nacido de padre sueco y madre alemana, Bergman habló y actuó en cinco idiomas, incluyendo sueco, inglés, alemán, italiano y francés. Su infancia se vio empañada por la tragedia cuando como hija única, su madre murió cuando ella tenía sólo 2,5 años de edad, su padre también murió cuando ella tenía 14 años.

En esta boda al estilo de los años 1930, Bergman lleva una gorra Julieta con rizos de alfiler.

Mientras que Lindström disfrutaba del dinero de su esposa y en un momento actuó como su mánager, tenía extremo desprecio por Hollywood y esto siguió siendo un hueso de la contienda durante su matrimonio. En última instancia, era muy controlador con Bergman. Quien a pesar de esto, continuó teniendo aventuras con sus directores y co-estrellas en la década de 1940.

La pareja tuvo un hijo, una hija, Friedel Pia Lindström, conocida como Pia, nacida el 20 de septiembre de 1938. Sin embargo, la unión terminó en divorcio debido a la aventura de Bergman con el cineasta italiano Roberto Rossellini. Su embarazo con el bebé de Rossellini, antes de divorciarse de Lindström, creó un gran escándalo en la U. S con reprocusión para Bergman en su Suecia natal y en toda Europa. Fue descrito como el mayor escándalo sexual de Hollywood del siglo 20.

En consecuencia, en 1950 Bergman tuvo que abandonar América y fue obligado a exiliarse en Europa durante varios años después. Ella le rogó a Lindström el divorcio y el contacto con su hija Pia, pero él se negó. No fue sino hasta siete años después, en 1957, que Bergman se reunió con Pia, en Roma.

Su matrimonio en 1950 con Rossellini experimentó varios problemas y finalmente terminó en divorcio en 1957. Era posesivo. Tuvieron tres hijos. Su hija Isabella Rossellini, ahora de 72 años, es actriz y modelo.

El 21 de diciembre de 1958, Bergman se casó con Lars Schmidt, un empresario teatral de una rica familia naviera sueca. Se divorciaron en 1975, después de casi veinte años de matrimonio. Sin embargo, siguen siendo amigos cercanos y él estaba a su lado cuando ella murió el 29 de agosto de 1982, en su 67.o cumpleaños.

La miniserie, A Woman Called Golda (1982), sobre la primera ministra israelí Golda Meir, iba a ser su último papel como actriz. Bergman murió en Londres de cáncer de mama apenas cuatro meses después de completar la filmación. Fue honrada póstumamente con un premio Emmy a la mejor actriz, aceptado por su hija Isabella Rossellini. Bergman recibió tres Oscars y dos Emmys incluyendo varios otros premios.

It's not Hans being a bad brother. It's not Anna being her quirky self and rushing for other things. It's not Westergaards... they are what they are, but this one is not on them.

As a historian myself I have to admit to y'all - we are boring.

Seriously, very few historians can actually tell a story. We all had this teacher with whom all the students were half asleep before the class has even started. That was most likely a history teacher, right?

We love our little fields, details and heated disputes about things that for everybody else aren't even worth a discussion. We may talk for hours about a coin lost by someone 800 years ago in Britain or how much of a worth would be this chest full of iron someone has found in the sewers. And be really excited when we learn that in this village we just passed, during WWI, they launched the first ever attack with a mortar directed only via radio. But those discussions are usually interesting only for other historians. A historian who can make things interesting for not-historian (and still be accurate, not like some pop-history youtube channels that shall not be named) is a rarity. I only had like... one teacher who had 100% of our attention all the time.

So, like I said in my previous post about Lars - his depiction is 100% realistic. That's the historian right there. He has all the markings of a historian - he can bore you to death and always finds a library.

During that time, she receives a news that the author of the book which was adapted for the screen 20 years ago where she play a main role and now in its remake, she’s doing another part, while a young sensation playing the main part. This is more like the evolution of cinema. The 20 years is too soon for her, while the cinema and its trend advanced rapidly. Precisely to say, the commercial films and young actors taking over the art films and true artists’ places respectively. If you at least 30 years old, you would get this film more than others. Because while I was growing up in the 90s, the cinema was so different. I’m not talking about the technology like computer graphics, but the story and how it was narrated for the screen. Now the science- fiction and dystopian themes taking over with the young audience and social media support. I think it was a quite meaningful film, particularly if you adore films like the recent evolution in cinema was so faster than ever. The negatives were, the film was too long, slow pace and too simple drama. The positives were, the actors and their performances, the locations, theme and some of the dialogues. Directed by a French filmmaker, this is an international project with a few guest appearances. Most of the film was set in the Alps. Totally different than what I was anticipating, but I still like, except in a few parts where I got bored for its weak development. So this is for the selected audience, that mean it will be appreciated by a very few and I’m kind of neutral with mostly in its favour. _6/10_ M...
