Here is Laia from the new dimension on Eclipse and Puppet Show. Because Sunlight mentioned that he only likes men, she will become Eclipse's partner. This dimension is not a fully genderswap, so Laia stays a woman. And she doesn't have the strength update, she has normal animatronic like strength.
Story:
Laia was the mascot of the candy shop Sugarcoat, but when the old owner AND his wife died, the son didn't want to take over the shop and planed to get the shop demolished and build something else. He was also planing to decommission Laia, because this one hates animatronics. Laia heard this when the son was on the phone and with broken heart she planed her escape. She was very scared, she wanted to live.
The shop didn't close right away it was open for a few months so Laia had some time. But the son was starting to get violent and hurt Laia almost every day and she didn't dare to defend herself. Every other day she stole some money from the cash register and hid it in her room. And then she prepared her outfit to hide her body to look like a tall human woman (if you don't take a closer look).
Even though she had many clothes, she had very few to choose from because they couldn't have the Sugarcoat logo on them and needed to look somewhat normal.
She packed a backpack with the money, a change of clothes, and her portable power bank for an extra 8 hours of electricity (which is much easier to charge than herself directly). Charging cables and her little screwdriver kit just in case and a fuzzy blanket for comfort.
She couldn't take her laptop with games and movies with her in case of tracking. She doesn't have a tracking device built into her, because she was at the shop all the time anyway.
Her outfit: pants and a shirt, a jacket, her Halloween boots, gloves, and a bandana. In her backpack was her outfit like the one from SAMS.
And when she was ready, she escaped the shop at night. It wasn't easy to stay hidden. It was rare for her to find a safe place to charge, so she had to charge her portable power bank where she could (like McDonald's or other) and then plug it in herself to charge hidden in her jacket. She looked like a tall, homeless woman who was resting on a bench or something.
One night a group of people tried to attack and rob her, but she escaped and the next morning she found the building Freddy (Lefty?) Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. She snuck in, disguised as a tall woman under many people, and went unnoticed. She found her way in parts and service and hid there. She could rest and charge without being attacked for two weeks.
Poor Laia, she was on the run for 2 months it took a toll on her, she was so tired and scared. She found a crowbar and kept it close in case she needed to defend herself. She didn't have a plan for what to do in the future, all she knew was to survive.
And one day Eclipse found her, he first thought she was a tall human woman intruder but saw very fast that she was an animatronic, but didn't see her face. Laia was very scared, kept saying that Eclipse would not take her back to the shop and not to come any closer, and was ready to swing the crowbar if he did come closer.
Eclipse was confused and irritated, asking questions but Laia slipped out the door of parts and service looking for a new hiding spot. Clips didn't run after her, because he was busy and is not in the mood for this. But he kept an eye out when he left parts and service.
Days after he began researching about missing animatronics, but couldn't find anything. But he saw the news that Sugarcoat closed and saw pictures of Laia when she was working there. He recognizes her eyes.
He went to search the whole plex and found her somewhere in the basement sitting in the corner. When she saw him she got scared again, holding the crowbar up. Clips tried this time to calm her down, he was bad at it but it worked. He just wanted to know why she was there. She hesitated but then told him everything that happened in the shop and in the streets.
He said he would not tell everyone, not to help her but because he didn't care (yeah sure buddy, you are nice, deal with it!). He said she could stay there until he figured something out. He warned her if she hurt anyone or caused trouble, he would kick her out.
After days he kept checking on her and having some small talk. He brings her stuff to keep her occupied. He tried bringing her candy from the daycare (because mascot of the candy shop), but she hates candy now, so he brought her some chips. The ghost kids found her and started visiting her too and then FC found her and then the whole group knew about her.
Within time she befriended everyone and Eclipse hacked into Fazbear's system and registered Laia as an official Fazbear animatronic (the thing he did when he, Foxy, FC, and Puppet moved in). Her job was to be at the cash register at the theater, so Clips could leave to do other things. And because those two hung out a lot at the theater together, they grew close.

How to Set Up a Budget-Friendly Starter Kit for Aspiring DJs
If you’ve ever dreamt of spinning tracks at a club or creating the perfect vibe for a party, becoming a DJ might be your calling. But as exciting as it sounds, diving into the DJ world can feel a little overwhelming—especially when you’re on a budget. Thankfully, you don’t need a fortune to kickstart your DJ journey. With the right starter kit, a little creativity, and a clear plan, you can build a setup that’s affordable yet powerful enough to get you started.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating a budget-friendly starter DJ kit that ticks all the right boxes.
Tumblr media
Start with Your Goals and Style
Before you even think about buying equipment, take some time to reflect on your goals. Are you planning to DJ at house parties, local events, or just as a hobby at home? Are you drawn to mixing electronic beats, scratching hip-hop tracks, or creating smooth transitions between pop songs?
Your DJ style will influence the type of gear you need. For instance:
Club DJs: Focus on controllers and mixers for smooth transitions.
Scratch DJs: Look into turntables with vinyl capabilities.
Mobile DJs: Portability and versatility are key.
Knowing your direction can save you from spending money on unnecessary features.
Essential Equipment for a DJ Starter Kit
a) Laptop or Computer
A reliable laptop or computer is the centerpiece of any modern DJ setup. You’ll use it to run DJ software, store your music library, and manage your mixes.
If you already own a laptop, that’s a great start. For beginners, there’s no need to invest in an expensive machine right away. Just ensure your laptop has enough processing power and storage to handle DJ software smoothly.
b) DJ Software
DJ software is what lets you mix and manipulate tracks. There are plenty of beginner-friendly options available, some of which are free or have trial versions. Look for software that offers essential features like track syncing, looping, and basic effects.
Explore a few different programs to see which one feels the most intuitive for you.
c) DJ Controller
A DJ controller acts as your physical interface for mixing music. It typically includes jog wheels, faders, knobs, and buttons, which mimic the feel of traditional turntables and mixers.
For beginners, budget-friendly controllers are widely available and offer all the basic features you need. Make sure it’s compatible with your chosen DJ software.
d) Headphones
A good pair of headphones is essential for cueing tracks and monitoring your mixes. Look for closed-back headphones, as they help block out external noise.
You don’t have to break the bank—there are plenty of affordable options with decent sound quality to get you started.
e) Speakers or Monitors
While you can use your headphones for practice, having speakers or monitors will give you a better sense of how your mix sounds to an audience. Portable and budget-friendly speakers are great for beginners, and you can always upgrade later.
Tumblr media
Build Your Music Library
Your music library is your most valuable asset as a DJ. Start by collecting tracks that fit your preferred genre or style. Focus on quality over quantity—having 50 tracks you know inside out is better than a random collection of 500.
Here are some tips:
Explore free or low-cost music platforms.
Look for legal remixes and edits to add variety.
Organize your library by genre, mood, or energy level for easy access during sets.
Learn Basic DJ Techniques
Having the right gear is only half the equation. To truly shine as a DJ, you’ll need to master the basics. Some essential skills include:
Beatmatching: Aligning the beats of two tracks to ensure a seamless transition.
Cueing: Preparing the next track to play at the right moment.
EQ Mixing: Balancing bass, mids, and treble for a smooth mix.
There are countless tutorials and resources online that can help you learn these techniques step by step.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Once your setup is ready, the key to improving is consistent practice. Experiment with different genres, tempos, and transitions to discover your unique style. Record your practice sessions to identify areas for improvement.
Start with small goals, like creating a 15-minute mix, and gradually increase the length and complexity of your sets.
Where to Buy Your Equipment
While shopping for your gear, it’s important to buy from trusted sources. professional audio shops often offer expert guidance, warranties, and the assurance of quality products. This can be particularly helpful when you’re starting out and unsure about what to choose.
Budget-Friendly Tips and Hacks
a) Start Small and Upgrade Gradually
You don’t need to buy everything at once. Start with the essentials—like a laptop, DJ software, and a basic controller—and add more gear as your skills and budget grow.
b) Look for Used Equipment
Many experienced DJs sell their older gear at a fraction of the cost. Just make sure to check the condition of the equipment before purchasing.
c) Explore Free Resources
There are plenty of free resources available to help you save money, such as free music downloads, tutorials, and software trials.
d) DIY Acoustic Treatments
If you’re practicing at home, simple DIY acoustic treatments (like blankets or foam panels) can improve sound quality without spending much.
Networking and Learning from Others
One of the best ways to grow as a DJ is by learning from others. Attend local events, join online DJ communities, and connect with other aspiring DJs. Not only can you pick up valuable tips, but you may also discover opportunities to showcase your skills.
Building Confidence for Live Performances
Starting small is key. Play for friends and family, or stream live on social media platforms to get comfortable with performing in front of an audience.
As you gain confidence, look for opportunities to play at small events or local venues. Building a reputation takes time, but every gig is a step toward your goal.
Final Thoughts
Setting up a budget-friendly starter kit for DJing might seem challenging, but with the right approach, it’s absolutely achievable. Focus on building a solid foundation with affordable gear, practicing consistently, and honing your skills.
Remember, being a great DJ isn’t about having the most expensive equipment—it’s about creativity, passion, and the ability to connect with your audience through music. With dedication and the right tools, you’ll be spinning tracks and creating unforgettable experiences in no time.

WARNING — BREACH LEVEL: FOUR
Each screen flashes an ominous red across the various screens sitting throughout the room, the artificial illumination only amplifying it with each repeat of those four, little words. Saying this was alarming would be a severe understatement, even alongside the siren which wails in tandem to the voice that leaves their speakers. Only the sound of a frustrated sigh escapes the bespectacled blonde, the reflection in her glasses almost a comical mirror to the annoyance that glares from narrowed, green eyes.
“So, what’s causing it this time—”
It’s a question spoken in urgency, fingers immediately pinching the bridge of her nose. To think one, small change would cause such an unspeakable weakness in their defenses, no matter how temporary it may be. “And to think it’s already managed to burrow their way this deeply again, too, after all this time.” Were it not for the air of pride that clings to her tone, one would be sure to hear an almost exasperation that laces in her tone.
REQUEST TO MEMORY BANK: APPROVED COMMUNICATION ACCESS  SHUTDOWN COMMENCING IN 5… 4…
Another string of words, far more concerning than the last. One hand immediately shoots out to press a button, one meant to signal a broadcast to the very citizens they have sworn to keep watch over from the skies as Stars. And yet… no connection can be made. Only the lonesome sound of unnerving silence greets her before pittering out into nothing, as if left adrift in the darkness of space itself with all contact severed. Pleiades is swift to collapse into her chair upon realizing, taking a moment to observe each message blink to life across their computers as arms cross, a finger pressing to her lips in thought.
“I think I can gather what they’re trying to do, but…”
She scoffs, withholding a roll of her eyes in detest, keeping watch as datastreams begin to blip — becoming fragmented with each passing second — from view within the confines of the system.
“Ofiuco. Is it possible for us to buy time for you to manage a way to remedy all this? Before they manage to wipe everything, that is.” The question was pensive, something earnest as she finally offers a glance to address her colleague.
“Ah, you're in need of my services? Perhaps if I take control of one of my other bodies, then... I hope I'm getting paid overtime.”
“When, or if, we somehow make it out of this with minimal, or total, setbacks, it can be discussed then.” It was the least that could be offered as another sigh is let out. “But if that’s the case… I suppose the rest of us must play the supporting role by diverting as much collateral damage as we can manage. At least if we want as smooth of a retaliation as possible.” Wheels roll from her chair, reaching down into a bag to slip out another, more portable, laptop from a bag as a commanding look. “Then shouldn’t we all get to work?”
The sound of footsteps soon fall in sync with the whirring electronic sounds that send the chilling warning throughout the facility. And in the city, only silence reaches over the vast expanse of each ward and branch. Peaceful, a scene so serene that one could not think it possible to disturb — until the sound of white noise lingers softly in the air. Static snow flickers within an instant, only missed by a mistimed blink.
And then… nothing.
Perhaps it was merely a trick of the eyes; something your mind fabricated that leaves you with nothing but a sense of something missing. Maybe it was simply all in your imagination. There was no need to try recalling something that was never there in the first place. After all, were it something of importance to you, you would have remembered it, wouldn’t you?
If you did, would you even truly wish to remember it at all… ?
“Tsk. Dammit, NULL. What’s your…”
Tumblr media
welcome to our newest and 25th event, FRAGMEMORIA. while this event may deal with memories on a surface level, the theme is far more in the aspect of forgetting them and eventually, in turn, coming to the difficult decision between seeking what you feel you've lost and regaining them or possibly running away from them instead of facing or recalling them. this will be the first part of the event, with the second part being posted ONE WEEK from now. this entire event will run until APRIL 28TH, 11:59:59PM EST.
So what's happening?
null, after some time, has resurfaced once more and has chosen to once again breach the defenses of the stars for their agenda. what their aim is going about it this way is unknown, however one thing is very clear: the current target is the memory bank, thus the memories belonging to the people that have been brought into the city of spirale: you. due to this, vital memories have become fragmented or even erased entirely, leaving those affected with a gaping hole in some capacity to it. don't be mistaken, though. just because their memory has been fragmented or has gone missing, that doesn't mean it's been replaced or that they've suddenly become a different person who has lead another life entirely.
What does this mean for us?
essentially, this means that your character will be walking around with holes in their memory, no matter the contradiction that tries to resolve it. maybe as they go about their day, they might feel something is off. that nag that they're forgetting something that itches in the back of their mind, never quite coming back to them no matter how hard they try to remember. or perhaps they don't even care that there feels like an emptiness and carry on their life just as easily, maybe even better for some, as they had before.
maybe an event happened with someone, only for them to remember the event itself but can't recall who was there with them in that moment. or perhaps they forgot something that happened entirely, that period of time just a blank space in their mind. imagine the reasons why you fell in love with someone or becoming their friend suddenly vanishing, leaving you still with that bond between you yet forced to wonder how it all even happened in the first place, no matter how hard you rack your brain for those reasons.
keep in mind that your characters will act as they always have, as this isn't a basis for alternate versions of themselves. they'll still behave and act as they usually would, perhaps with very minimal changes such as treating someone they've forgotten a little more distantly, etc, but ultimately they'd be the same as they always have been.
Are we able to remember our things again at any point?
not at all! once any memory has been affected, it won't come back, no matter how hard they try to remember or others try to remind them of what they're forgetting.
but don't worry, either! remember (no pun intended i promise), this is a two part event, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled during the ongoing event for when the second half goes up.
What kind of memories are affected?
so long as the memory is something of great importance to the character, that's all the criteria that's needed for it to become fragmented or erased. these memories can stem from their canon or isola itself and they don't have to be bad or good memories, just so long as they had a great impact on the person.
How many memories can be affected?
depending on what you'd like to do, you're welcome to have none of your memories affected or up to about three or four. keep in mind that the entire memory of your life WILL NOT be erased at all, only specific memories. regardless, you're welcome to have all your memories hit by this at once or gradually do it over time, whichever suits you best!
Can one person forget something while another remembers it?
absolutely! in fact, things like this are also encouraged. each memory that's affected is on a personal level and not a collective one, so it's more than possible that someone has forgotten something that another remembers which can cause confusion and even conflict. regardless, no matter how much the person tries to convince someone what happened, who was there, etc, those memories will stay erased or fragmented.
I have a question I don't see on here!
feel free to send a message to the masterlist with anything on your mind and we'll answer them timely as to not keep you waiting to participate! we'll do our best to answer accordingly and be as clear as possible.

Saw some posts going around about being homeless and wanted to throw my own two cents in on strategies you can use.
A lot of people think that once you lose your home, your two options are either spend a bunch of money on motels or sleep outside. There are many other options you should exhaust first.
Pack light. Bring a couple changes of clothes, but don't over burden yourself. Fresh underwear and socks are more important than anything. You can swing wearing the same jeans for longer than the same shirt.
Don't break the habit of brushing your teeth often. It's important and a difficult habit to build up again.
Get a good phone charger, and a good portable battery. You can get ones on Amazon that will fully charge your phone up to 10 times on one charge of the battery. If you don't have a place you can accept deliveries, try dollarstores, Walmart, and best buy, or other electronic stores.
High data plans are really cheap right now, so if you're already paying 30-40 for your phone plan, check to see if you can switch to a higher data plan for the same price on your phone provider's website.
Have utensils. You can get packs of portable and easy to wash ones that come with fork, spoon, knife, and straw. Or you can just pack normal ones. It's up to you.
Get a multi-tool. Theyre really handy to have.
If you buy a weapon of any kind to defend yourself, make sure you know how to use it and really have an indepth check in with yourself: if you were in a fight, would you be willing to use it on another person? If you are unsure even a little bit, don't carry it. Knife, gun, any of those specialized self defense items. They're more likely to be taken and used on you. Especially if you hesitate.
Get on welfare, income assistance, food stamps, or whatever other government program you can. These often provide access to resources and if you get a social worker, they will often be familiar with resources and programs you can access.
Be kind and respectful to other homeless people but don't make friends with them. This may sound harsh but people in these situations are desperate and if you drop your guard around some individuals you will get robbed. Plus, it's really easy to get sucked into toxic mindsets where you spiral into self destruction if there are other people to go down with you. You will feed off of each other's bullshit. It's just better for you and them to focus on yourself right now.
Having a baby right now will not save you or fix your situation. If you have sex, use protection. If you get pregnant, highly consider getting an abortion if you're able to. Being pregnant complicates homelessness a lot and your kid will almost definitely be taken from you, which is heartbreaking.
Keep a low profile. Don't get into fights or arguments, don't yell at service workers, don't be a nuisance to retail. Sometimes you will be wronged and it'll feel unfair, but often it's best to swallow your pride and to remain in good standing with the people around you.
Sell or leave any laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices you can't keep on your person. If someone doesn't steal them they will most likely just get broken or damaged.
Look up all the soup kitchens and foodbanks in your area. Most of the time, there will be at least one place open any given day of the week. Churches are the ones that will do this more often than not, and as long as it's not Salvation Army they usually do not care who you are or how you got there. Missions tend to feel more secular than say, Catholic churches, if that matters to you. (but getting a hot meal is often worth sitting through the Lord's Prayer.)
If you're under thirty, look up Youth resources. Usually there will be services tailored specifically for you that won't be as in demand as general population services.
Employment centers, libraries, food banks, etc, should have contact information regarding shelters. If you're a woman running from an abuse situation there are even more options.
Shelters tend to be hit or miss. I've stayed in really awful ones, I've stayed in really good ones. The best you're going to find are the ones where each resident gets their own room. They're hard to come by, but one of the shelters I stayed at the most when I was homeless let you stay up to two months on your first go. Then youre out for two weeks, then you can come back for up to a month at a time. If you're lucky, you'll find a shelter that provides meals as well. This is a great place to have a warm bed to sleep, meals, and showers.
Couch surf. Now's the time to call on your friends for favours. I try not to stay in any one place for longer than five days. Mixing this with staying at a shelter got me through about five years of homelessness.
Group homes, supervised living programs, etc. These tend to be the next step up from shelters. Almost all of them give you your own room and are more long term than shelters. Often, you have to actively be working and/or participating in an education or employment program to stay, but it's way more stable than staying at a shelter.
Do not bother with Facebook marketplace queer housing groups. In a lot of cases you'll be out on your ass again in a couple of months. There's a reason people in these groups can't keep roommates.
When you can, have a set of clothes that make you not "look homeless." You will find situations where you need to blend in. If you have a secure place to store your belongings even better. Dead giveaways for homeless people are often their huge backpacks and a lot of people know this.
Out of the cold shelters open up in the winter. They're more temporary than regular shelters and it's usually sleeping on the floor of a church or community center, but they're okay options in a pinch.
If you have to sleep outside, go off the beaten path if you can. It's easier to do this outside of city centers but this is obviously not always an option. Tents are great but tarps are even more portable. Sleeping bags help maintain body heat far better than blankets. Use your backpack as a pillow, or grab a pillowcase and stuff it with your clothes when it's time to sleep.
This may go without saying but if you have a car, sleep in that. You won't need to bother with shelters or sleeping outside.
Showering at gyms and truck stops is obvious, but if you can find a drop in center, you can shower, get something to eat, and often even do your laundry. Some drop in centers require membership but it's often not difficult to get and it's free. They just want to register you and keep track of who is coming and going. You will often be assigned a case worker that will help you with finding a place to stay or even a job.
Short hair is easier to maintain in these situations. Moreover, I highly recommend against dying your hair at this time, especially bright unnatural colours because the colour will fade fast, and it'll be really difficult to blend in with non homeless people when you have to.
Spend your days in libraries charging your phone, keeping warm, and entertaining yourself. You can stay from open until closed without being disturbed. Look at bulletin boards and pamphlets while you're there and you might find programs you can join or resources you can access.
I personally have never gone dumpster diving. I've never had to. I don't live in a very rich city but there was still always resources I could access before it came to that. Personally, I would exaust all my other options before I start rooting around in trash cans but that's just me.
If you keep food on hand while you're outside, be mindful of animals. Look up methods of keeping your food safe from bears if you are staying in wooded areas. Even places you think are too close to civilization can have bears wandering around. Also, be mindful of "refrigerate after opening" warning labels on food. It's best to get shelf stable items when possible. Condiment packets that are single use are better than bottles because they'll keep longer.
Stealing from grocery stores is easier if you buy some things, too. You can get toothpaste, shampoo, etc from drop in centers and foodbanks but I would personally suggest buying larger items like sandwich meat, and stuffing small items like water flavoring into your pockets when you're wandering down an unoccupied aisle. On that note if you have a hard time drinking plain water, get water flavoring! It's important to stay hydrated.
This might just be the country I live in, but one other place you're very unlikely to be bothered is hospital cafeterias. This is one example, I think, of a place where you don't want to "look" homeless. If it's an especially cold night though, sitting in the corner quietly and being on your phone won't look suspicious. You may need to stay up for the night and then take a nap outside in the day. Or, go to a Library in the morning.
Wear sunglasses and hold your phone or a book in front of you and nap when you're indoors. Especially if you're in a corner by yourself and especially if you're "blending in" with non homeless people, no one will bother you. Best place to do this is libraries.
Food courts are also a decent option. Usually there are so many people that no one is going to bother a random person that's there all day. One of those other instances of its easier if you don't look homeless.
Cycle through places you stay at during the day. It'll look a lot less suspicious if you only spend one day a week at any given place.
Depending on your age, if you live in a university town, you can spend time in university areas. Cafeterias, libraries, computer labs. This one is not something I'm quite as familiar with but I know people that did it. Try to blend in, look like you're busy. Students are easier to blend in with than probably any other population you can think of. You're going to really have to choose your own adventure with this one, but I would aim for places with a large student body that you don't need a key card to get into, and make yourself look busy.
If all else fails, ride around on public transit. Take long lines from start to finish. Catch a nap if you can. This is an especially great option if you have a bus pass, and while it is easier to do if you blend in, depending on the size of your city and how many people are on, you will be mostly undisturbed.

oh jeebers, a new notebook. i can't wait to fill this with 5847397 unfinished projects. this is so exciting.
in all seriousness this thing is awesome and i will be taking it everywhere. in double all seriousness i should probably compile a collection of things that i should take everywhere, because i recently also got a new backpack and having a bunch of essentials to carry around would be cool.
well, okay, since i'm here, let's have a think about this. that notebook, obviously, because it's awesome and functions heavenly. with that, of course, i should bring either a) A Pen or b) A Pencil. probably a), due to æsthetic and other reasons too that are hidden away somewhere in my head.
i would say laptop, but the only laptop i had fell onto the floor last night at a marvellously high velocity and shattered its screen and probably most of its internals. i mean, it was a slow lenovo laptop that cost my parents around ÂŁ110, but still. i was planning to refurbish it. disappointing.
music player. i had a tiny sansa clip at one point, but i don't know if it's anywhere in this house. oh yeah, did you know that sandisk makes mp3 players? yes, the same sandisk that makes the usb sticks and hard drives. it's cool.
also this is a very me-specific thing but i'd like to buy a raspberry pi (pi, not pie. it's this little computer the size of a credit card), install, like, alpine or something on it, and just have it with me along with a power bank. portable home server. yippee.
can't think of much else, really. the sparks of my thought energy are scattered. that would be the essentials for Me. if you found this interesting whatsoever perhaps reblog with Your list of essential items to take everywhere ever. adios.

What would a portable generator or powerbank strong enough for a laptop cost you over there?
My powerbank for my laptop cost around R2000 and it gives me about an hour and a half to 2 hours of battery. I usually run my laptop on battery for 2 hours and then, if we're in hell where our power is off for those 4 hour stretches or the power station overloads and we get stuck with a day without power, I use the power bank until the battery is recharged again. I can stretch my laptop to about 6 or 7 hours this way, but it requires me to not do any power intensive things like an art program or video games or a word document. So most of the time I spend power outages just watching stuff.
I tend to be conservative with how much electricity I use because a couple of times we've been stuck longer without power than expected due to a fault at the power plant, so its best to be cautious rather than blow all the battery power at once. Unless I'm doing work for the studio in which case that's more important and I'll sacrifice the battery to meet deadline.
