so I watched their mama 2020 performance for meme purposes, and noticed they start the stage with la crimosa playing, which happens to be the song that lapoem covered as an ost for vincenzo. idk if it's a coincidence or if it was a nod to their collab for the answer stage on kingdom, but it was a nice touch 💜

I have no clue either, but it is a nice thing either way.

• okay so the first performance was by btob who performed a brand new jazz song called blue moon. they had a lalaland concept (the musical with ryan gosling and emma stone) and had miyeon from gidle as a guest in their performance, honestly i absolutely loved this performance so so much but i also kinda wish they gave miyeon some lines as well

• next was ateez who performed answer arranged with ode to joy with lapoem as their guests which was kind of a plot twist, i definitely wasn't expecting ~that~

• sf9 performed move by taemin with a sensual concept, rated 39 sexy according to them. ngl i wasn't the biggest fan of this concept at all but that's just my opinion

• tbz performed monster by exo, they wanted their performance to radiate beauty rather than power, sangyeon started crying because he was so proud of them members because they did so well 🥺 younghoon never performed (i think he was injured or something), this performance was sick and reminded me a lot of mayflys wolf performance too

• skz got first place for expert evaluation!! (last time they got 6th), then it was sf9, tbz, btob, ikon, ateez (it's kinda sus how the expert rankings are basically exactly switched from last time)

• expert and self evaluation rankings together were sf9, skz, btob, tbz, ikon, ateez

• the theme for the final round is 'who is the king?' and all groups are dropping new songs tomorrow at the same time

• skz' teaser shows its a song called wolfgang and a lyric that basically translates to 'ready or not here i come' so like hide and seek wolf version?¿ 😳😳

Isn’t it obvious I’m a LA POEM fan?  Here are interesting moments I captured during their performance of Joke’s On You in Phantom Singer All-Star days ago. The effects and their stage presence are so lit! I can really see fire in them!

On August 29, KBS’s “Immortal Songs” continued the second part of their Turbo/Kim Jong Kook special.  Last week, Jo Kwon, ASTRO’s MJ, and Shin Joo Hyub won the first part of the special with their performance of “Twist King.” The three singers performed with the dancers from “Jamie,” the musical in which they are currently starring.  Performing this week were MONNI, Yook Joong Wan Band, Lim Jeong Hee, Car, the Garden, and ATEEZ. Spoilers  The episode opened with Kim Jong Kook and Kim Jung Nam performing Turbo’s “Love Is… (3+3=)” and “Twist King.”  First to perform were Car, the Garden and MONNI. Car, the Garden covered Turbo’s “Jazz Bar,” while MONNI covered Kim Jong Kook’s “Standstill,” and Car, the Garden took the win for the round.  Yook Joong Wan Band performed next with Turbo’s “Goodbye Yesterday” and won their round against Car, the Garden.  ATEEZ performed fourth on the episode. The group shared that they were nervous but excited and added that they had been influenced by Kim Jong Kook’s “Lovable” when they were younger to become singers. The song they chose to perform was Turbo’s hit “Black Cat,” which the group re-interpreted with their trademark powerful choreography.  Kim Jong Kook commented, “I was shocked when I saw the rearrangement. It’s impressive.” LAPOEM said, “We felt in our bones that this is what dancing is. They were able to sing perfectly even in the middle of such powerful dancing.” B.O.Y’s Kim Kook Heon said, “This is the only team in Korea that could pull off a performance like this.”  At the end, ATEEZ won the votes from the panel to beat Yook Joong Wan Band, their first win on the show.
