thinking about renjing pre-hcq fallout...
from jing yuan joining the clouds knight and to him being recognized and taken apprentice by sword master jingliu. and not long, he suddenly has a new shidi (the only one). he said his name was ying xing, but he once heard the laoba that sells berrypheasant skewers in aurum alley call him ren.
jing yuan doesn't know much about him but if there's one thing he's for sure, is that ying xing was infuriating. despite wanting to be the bigger person, jing yuan can't help but to rise up to him. jing liu got tired of them bickering once and ordered them to instead use their swords to clash instead of words.
it weirdly... became a routine. everyday, 2 system hours before the artificial sun sets, they would spar, tallying their wins and losses. weeks later it became sparring AND practicing their master's teaching. reluctant he was to admit, but they had definitely learn from each other. and if they tweaked the first sword movement taught by jing liu to fit them better, they pray to lan she doesn't slice them for it.
one session, when the luofu was dyed orange, ever the curious jing yuan asked his shidi what he does in the hours not occupied by their training with jingliu and their spars. he couldn't help but be curious, okay? ying xing wasn't a part of the cloud knights nor was he a graduate of the academy. it's like he suddenly appeared in the luofu and somehow etched his place in it.
ying xing looked at him for a second too long before asking him if he wanted to visit his place. jing yuan was taken aback, this step feels like invading the invisible barrier they had. crossing from fellow disciples to— whatever this entails.
jing yuan should say no, it's his time to take the night shift at standing guard outside the realm keeping commission. he should say no because he still had that dinner he promised with his colleagues. he should say no because he and ying xing would probably just bicker all the way to his place and his "tolerate yingxing" meter had reached its limit for today.
but instead, he said "lead the way". and the small smile ying xing sent his way before turning around to lead jing yuan to his place would be the start of it all.

Hiya! I was wondering if you knew if there was a real difference between Diē, Laobà, and bàba ( 爹, 老爸, 爸爸), and māmā, laomā, Niáng ( 妈妈, 老妈, 娘) between just different things to call your parents?
Hi! Yeah there’s a huge difference.
Historically:
[fuqin, muqin] 父亲,母亲 - father, mother (formal)
[die, niang] 爹, 娘 - dad, mom (northern China)
[a-die, a-niang] 阿爹, 阿娘 - dad, mom (southern China)
[diedie] 爹爹 - daddy, more for kids
***娘娘 [niang’niang] DOES NOT mean mummy. It does not mean mother. Niang’niang is VERY SPECIFICALLY referring to the emperor’s consorts and concubines. (do not ask me why this is. language is weird lmao)
Modern Times:
[fuqin, muqin] 父亲,母亲 - father, mother (formal, usually used in narrative speech when talking about one’s parent in a formal context)
[baba, mama] 爸爸, 妈妈 - daddy, mummy (children, like.... less than 12?)
[laoba, laoma] 老爸,老妈 - dad, mom (teenager, youth, young adult)
[ba, ma] 爸, 妈 - dad, mom (most adults and older adults)
[die, niang] 爹, 娘 or [a-die, a-niang] 阿爹, 阿娘 - RURAL COMMUNITY
Hope this helps. :)

Ủa, nhận ra lâu lắm k lê la qua đây, có lẽ đã hết buồn và hết vấn vương :)))
Mấy nay m có j hót? Qua chuyến về quê k làm đc j nhìu..
Hnay m đến ngày, khó tính, nói fenkai vs cả dong2 mà 2 đứa cùng khóc. Haizz, k ngờ hắn lại còn tính con gái hơn cả mình :3 Qua 2 mối tình k xđ, m mệt mỏi quá! Thật sự! Hnay là muốn buông bỏ, chẳng biết.
Qua cty mới, cs mình đổi khác: có meinv pei, có shiyou, có cả laoda ng Đài đz nhẹ nhàng mà có vk con mất r. Mà khs, mình hay nghĩ đến ổng? huhu~ Có lẽ ở cty có ổng là m hay lv chung, lại giúp đỡ mình nhìu từ khi mới đến, nên m quý ổng lm, tại cũng đz ưa nhìn nữa đi hahaa~
Thì đi pv là B vs cả Rob pv mình, vẫn ấn tượng vs câu đầu tiên: 怎么称呼你?r cả ổng Rob hút cái Sturbuck chụt chụt, bó tay vs ổng :)) Kiểu k có chút yansu nào ý! @@ Mà Rob sắp nghỉ, m có chút hụt hẫng, khs..
R hôm ở sân bay là laoda đi đón mình, (trk đó còn gửi ảnh vì sợ nta k nhận ra mình), r ổng đưa mình qua Avida 4E mà chìa khoá sai, nên để mình ở tầng 10 nhà ổng, r xuống nc vs ai để lấy ck ý. M mệt nên nằm xíu, r kịp lấy cho ổng ấy mấy đồ VN, mà k kéo đc khoá balo lên :)) Ơ trk đó còn thấy trg balo ổng có bra nvsheng, aiyoo tiếc thật, đã có bạn gái r, bio biết là có vk r :)
Tối đó bắt xe về ktx cũ, còn lạc đường, k nhớ vị trí về, tủi thân vch luôn ý, còn alo cho ổng hỏi, ôi ngại!
Qua buổi 1, ngày 21, thì ổng biết m kb gọi đồ ăn nên kéo m đi ăn ở ngoài cùng cả Rob nữa. Mà ng mới, m chẳng biết nói j vs 2 ổng ấy :))
R tối m hỏi đường về thì ổng đưa m về, nc nhìu nhìu. Toàn m nói, hehe~ R là có lần trg thang máy, m hỏi ổng: Qua chỗ bạn gái à, ổng ừ, r m nói 太可惜了吧!haha, ổng chắc ngại, r mình nói luôn là khi nào cần ổ cắm thì ới mình :))
R mấy lần m tan làm gặp ổng đi jianshen, r bla.. cùng toà mà k gặp nhau nhìu. aiyooo~
R định mua trà sữa, mà paidui dài quá nên thôi :(( Rồi qua bên mt mua đồ, lúc về m kêu là 老爸,我好渴了,你买给我饮料吧!Kiểu nhõng nhẽo hoho, thì mua chứ, jiao laoba mà lỵ :)))
R htrk ổng đi Cash&Carry, thì định nhờ ổng nộp tiền điện cho, nhưng ổng kêu m đi cùng luôn, thế là lẽo đẽo chạy theo :)) Qua đó, có 1ban Phil xinh gái cao trắng, m ới lão: 大美女,你快做吧!haha, r lão nhìn m kiểu: Ta có vk r nha :)) R c kia ngồi giữa, định bảo m ngồi cùng ổng mà m kêu k cần haha~ (như kiểu m vs ổng là cặp k bằng :)), r ổng ra ngoài m nộp tiền? thì m thiếu mất 16p, chẳng biết Chaina lj vs tiền của m huhu~
Nói chung m quý ông sếp này lm lm, cty cũng toàn zai xinh gái đẹp nên m càng thích đến cty hihii~
Thôi đi ngủ đây, 0.33 ngày 25 mất r :(((
