dude... ikea is amazing... i havent been in twenty million years but every time im there it's amazing.. you get the sudden urge to ridiculously redecorate your whole life even tho you have five cents (but that's ok cause you can get like three pieces of pizza, some chips and a drink for like 3 bucks) and then you can pretend you're gonna get millions of thing by writing them down in your little piece of paper i love it

im rewatching dghda (for the millionth time) and honestly? todd rlly took the weirdness in stride tbh like- that moment after zimmerman gets killed and farah kills for the first time and then she and todd are catching up and todd’s just saying weird thing after weird thing? wonderful. also cant believe how well he adapted to everything

and HONESTLY!!!! his life goes to shit but he handles it pretty well, all things considered. just one more reason why he’s such a good assistant. yes, he is massively weirded out by whatever it is this time, but he catches on and adapts very quickly.

i remember seeing a post (i cant find it D:) talking about how Remarkably good todd is in a crisis and i agree So Much. like, i firmly believe that he and dirk have to take turns using a single braincell, but todd gets full reign of the braincell when weird crises are happening. todd is the one who thinks to hold rapunzel off the side of the bridge. todd is the one who manages to keep his problem solving skills intact when in the lightbulb room of death. todd got him and dirk out of the cardenas pocket dimension house. todd figured out how to get to wendimoor. where dirk excels in connecting the clues and formulating plans or strategies for the near future, his mind fails him when the situation gets crazy like RIGHT NOW. but thats fine because thats when todd’s mind kicks into gear and takes over. can i get some fuckin uhhhh complementary dynamics??? CUZ IT’S HERE

like... if you give dirk three days to open a door, he’ll go through the process of learning how to pick a lock before getting fed up by how much precision it requires and suggesting to enter instead in some other convoluted way, like through the vents or perhaps tunneling underground using plastic sporks. on the third day, when getting past the door is suddenly and inexplicably a life or death scenario, todd will be the one to just think ‘fuck it’ and kick it down.

(farah would just try the knob and discover that, while it has the tendency to jam, the door was unlocked the entire time)

I’ve thought about doing some art myself, but I’m just so busy... It’s why I’ve been trying my best to keep a schedule going for chapter updates, since it’s rare for me to write chapter fics.
