Difficulties of a non-native English speaker & Stargate fan

Stargate Wiki can be confusing sometimes: Why can it be that in one article about the episode 'Serpent's song' LantAsh is spelled LantEsh in one section and Lantash again when listing all the characters? Is this a series vs. book thing or did he actually get pronounced Lantesh in the Tok'ra double episode and 'Serpent's Song and later in his death episode? Is this a pronounciation difficulty with the actors like the infamous Goa'uld pronounciation throught the series? Was it a change of taste by the producers or a false memories by the fandom?

Second: Is it spelled Tok'Ra or Tok'ra? Because I have seen both in fanfic and as a new writer this gets pretty confusing.

100 Ships Challenge 2024 Update

Figuring this all out again (while double checking my previous stats), I have concluded that tracking Tok’ra stats are annoying. 😂

Due to their very nature, not everything is even going to be tagged, and it can be complicated. Per’sus/Malek also includes their canon hosts. However, with Per’sus/Egeria, it’s their pre-canon hosts.

So it would be easier to just not include the hosts, but I have Per’sus’ Host/Cordesh which does not include Per’sus.

Then, of course, a fic that is strictly a relationship between Per’sus and his current host wouldn’t have that tagged.

So…😠.

For now, I am giving Per’sus and his current host each their own stats.

Now the ships…

Striked out ships means it’s a repeat ship, but I am listing it to keep track of how many ships each person was put in.

out of all the icons you have drawn, which one is your favorite?

My TRUE answer is a spoiler character's icon that isn't public unfortunately

however, for my SECOND favorite, it's Lantesher's! I have a bias for their design, character themself, and also i just like the colors i picked for them a ton. i love this weird eight eyed eel dragon thing

Was it ever explained why Kvalni don't have souls? I tried looking but I couldn't find anything.

Also what was Lantesher based off of, name/design-wise? They rattle around in my brain like a DVD Screensaver

They (as well as all Kval) don't seem to exist on the same sort of existence as everything else. It's hard to even define a Kval individual sometimes. There is absolutely 0 soul data or the sense of soul from them. As such, they are not defined as animals by most. They are simply Kval. I can't explain further beyond this unfortunately

as for Lantesher, the name is honestly a gibberish name, but i might use some parts of it to backwards engineer some conlang words. as for their design, their eyes are based on cycling casino lights as well as cartoon eyes rolling around in their sockets! their face was based on a fusion of those theater masks, and then given a gulper eel flair. all of this on a cool, weird, purple and red dragon thing.

Jackie! She and her friends are the oldest characters made, and Jackie's been a personal favorite for her design gimmick even though i haven't focused on her as much as anyone from Stars Below. she's fun to imagine animated!

for the Vani specifically, it's a tie between Eramor and Lantesher.
