𓆩♡𓆪   ⸻  ÉLÉGANTE is the second studio album by PANDORA . released on september 3 , 2023 , under astre entertainment , the album consists of ten tracks , including the double lead singles : NO and GRL GVNG .

after four weeks of promotional stages for the title tracks , they held a couple special stages for MY SATISFACTION and DANCE ON MY OWN . by the end of the live promotions , the girl group racked up a total of FIFTEEN music show wins . as of now , they officially hold the record for MOST music wins of 2023 .

the third and final part to the mini trilogy they had begun with PAS DE DEUX , the studio album is special for several reasons . through the tracklist , the message pandora want to deliver is that the essence of a woman isn’t as black and white as society tries to make it seem .

clearly the stylists listened because this was the era of the dresses- per performance , there was at least one member wearing the said article of clothing . but hey , they looked like goddesses as usual so …

creative freedom was at its peak for this album . whether that be in songwriting , choreographing , or even the concept planning , almost everyone had something to contribute . the group truly wanted to show wanderers ( and everyone else ) how much they’ve grown .

of course , flak was drawn again because in GRL GVNG , some losers thought that the girls were cursing . by reading the lyrics , it can be proven that they weren’t so … back to the circus the sayers go ig ??

the unit songs were a hit too like … wanderers LOVED them . clearly , it was important that all the members were part of at least one unit track . hashtag stan fairness , stan pandora .

pandora in their social butterfly era !!!!! while they didn’t film a lot of dance challenges , the girls definitely enjoyed hanging out with fellow idols . as expected , there were friends who had shown up to the comeback stages to show their support , like enhypen’s jay and sunoo . ( the whole group wanted to come but only two were allowed so they played rock paper scissors- )

the first reactions to the tracklist was a mess … BUT IN A GOOD WAY OFC- wanderers constantly joke that the shuffle button and this comeback must not meet . at one point , you can be feeling like the main character . then the next ? you’re sobbing because you’re that person who’s always there for others , even if they sometimes forget about you .

save the best for last ? more like build up the pain for the end 🥹 THE HAPPIEST GIRL is a fan favorite because it’s a song that many can sadly relate to . it’s like ASTER , CALISTA and CHIARA know the pain all too well so they turned their experience into a haunting masterpiece …

and then you have DANCE ON MY OWN after it , a song that calista and chiara had also contributed lyrics for . ( dear lista and ara … babies , who do we have to bury ??? ) in one of the lives , the duo stated that it’s one of the most important songs to them , because they had been in that position — letting someone pull their strings until they broke — so they hope this song can serve as a beacon of healing for listeners .

special shoutout to LANFEN , the mastermind behind the concept of the pcs . the noir version shows off their “ idol ” side ; alluring or cute or badass . on the other hand , the blanc version is who they are off cameras — the “ human ” side of pandora .

( aka -- maddie has been putting this off since december and it’s v long. )

meet JONGSUK. a hacker who helps anyone who gives him enough money. tends to be CREATIVE but CALLOUS, just because he knows everyone else’s secrets doesn’t mean he will give out his own. passing as a normal twenty something, jongsuk does what he can to make ends meat. the male never really lets anyone get close and he tends to be standoffish when need be. the only people has allowed close are those that he has spent most of his life with. but after spend a few hundred years together, it’s not like jongsuk can’t ignore his own kind -- even if there are a few annoying vampires apart of his clan. fc: kim junmyeon

meet LANFEN. a bodyguard who honestly feels more like a baby sitter than anything else. tends to be LOYAL but STRONG WILLED, sometimes its hard for her not to do something impulsive if it means protecting liang. since her birth, lanfen was raised by her grandfather to be the next guard to the young prince. of course, the two grew up close together and she was always by his side. even now in a different country because liang wanted to go to a college where no one knows him. of course, that just makes lanfen’s job stressful at times -- but she knows that she has to protect him and make sure he is safe at all time. fc: elkie

meet SIYEON. a miniature version of her parents, sassy included. tends to be OPEN MINDED but MOODY, she has the temperament of her mother at the end of the day. growing up, siyeon was always at the heels of her older brother seokjin. and then as time went on more children joined the gang and siyeon felt this overwhelming need to constantly protect the younger children. even if some were just a few months or even a year younger than her. unfortunately this has caused some problems in siyeon’s school life. seeing as the girl was constantly getting in fights trying to protect her childhood friend’s honors. and yes -- that too has followed into college. fc: kang mina

meet CARSON. head of oncology, who knows when he actually sleeps. tends to be DETERMINED but GULLIBLE, he sees too much of the good in people. the eldest of the three yoon kids -- carson didn’t know what he wanted to do with his life. everything was kind of up in the air but it wasn’t until he took a cna class for fun when he was in highschool that he realized how much he wanted to be in the medical field. years of working his ass off and fighting through his intern years -- carson soon ended up as head of oncology and is actually pretty good at what he does. doesn’t mean he isn’t a bit chaotic at times -- but he does try to be as chill as he possibly can be. fc: lee jongsuk

meet JUMIN. tattoo artist that dabbles in graphic novels from time to time. tends to be ARTISTIC but SELFLESS, he puts everyone above himself. they say being selfless is a good trait, but that doesn’t seem to be true for jumin. ever since he was younger -- jumin always seems to put his friends needs above his own even if the boy ends up hurt in the end. jumin just doesn’t see anything too special about himself and he wants his friends happy and he never wants to be the cause of them not chasing their dreams. so typically -- jumin encourages his friends to follow their dreams and then he chases right after them to see them succeed. fc: jeon wonwoo

meet INGUK. tattoo artist that likes to call himself a walking museum. tends to be BALANCED but OVERBEARING, whenever he has an opinon he speaks it. even with their friend group, inguk always feels like he is looking out for jumin and his feelings constantly. it’s clear that inguk can read jumin like a book and tends to call him out on his bullshit. along with calling their other friends out on their bullshit as well. inguk is the type of guy who says what is on his mind. sure -- sometimes it can feel like a bit much, but his heart is in the right place, honestly. people just need to give him a chance and get to know him at a deeper level.  fc: kim namjoon

meet LONDON. one of the more chaotic lancasters, don’t let him fool you. tends to be WELL ROUNDED but IMPULSIVE, sometimes he just doesn’t think before doing anything. luckily, london grew up in a home filled with love. sure -- it was a bit cramped sometimes with all the children -- but the love was still there. he grew up generally imaginative and no one really told him no. it never went to his head though, he knows that he does have boundaries for the most part. but his creativity has always been allowed to flourish.   fc: im changkyun

meet YUNSEO. a soul reaper on a mission that gets distracted easily. tends to be ALLURING but VAIN, his friends fed into his ego too much. yunseo is good at what he does -- it’s why he is apart of one of the strongest squads in the soul society. a lot of people don’t take him seriously and while he pretends like it doesn’t bother him -- yunseo knows how to hold a grudge. currently he is on a mission in the living world and is still trying to get used to certain aspects of this world. so if he is a little snippy don’t take it to heart.   fc: choi minki

meet TAEHYUN. a pediatric unit intern with a heart of gold. tends to be IMAGINATIVE but ANXIOUS, he worries a lot about what his mom has to say. all taehyun has wanted to do since the start was make his mom proud of him. for the most part he feels like he is getting there and following his heart to the medical field was the best choice of his life. but there are still a lot of aspects he keeps private -- mainly because he wants those parts of him to stay to himself and not be exposed quite yet.    fc: kim myungjun

meet BEOMGYU. a college student that practically lives in the hospital. tends to be BENEVOLENT but DESTRUCTIVE, unfortunately -- beomgyu is very self destructive. for as long as beomgyu can remember, his life has always rotated around constant hospital visits and medicine. the list of his diagnosis is long and beomgyu only has a few people in his life that know everything that is wrong with him. everyone else -- he just keeps them an arm lengths away. he just doesn’t want to bring anyone else into his life that he could end up hurting in the process.   fc: lee dongmin

meet MOONSIK. a mutant of few words. tends to be SELFLESS but FRIGHTENING, it’s just his outward appearance and resting face that tend to make people steer clear of him. moonsik doesn’t know when he gained his power -- honestly he feels like he has had it for as long as he can remember. the male is able to duplicate his arms and has intense strength to help it out. sure -- it’s a bit strange, but the male wants to be able to help people and the college he is currently going to is helping him figure all that out.   fc: kim hosung

meet FENGYI. a mutant that tends to keep to himself, but is highly loyal. tends to be BRILLIANT but DISTRUSTING, it’s honestly very hard to get onto his good side.  with fengyi’s quirk, it’s understanding why he is distrusting. having a dark shadow that basically helps control everything can make him very -- skeptical of people. fengyi knows in the past that people used him just to see how his quirk worked and he has only allowed a small few to help him when it comes to honing his quirk more. everyone else he just tells to fuck off.   fc: jacob peng

meet SHIN. barista by day, exotic dancer by night -- it pays his bills. tends to be CHARISMATIC but DISHONEST, he is working on being more honest with himself.  shin’s life wasn’t pretty at the start. his parents didn’t really want him -- but they needed him from a more familial appearance. most of the time, shin wished that he could visit his cousins but he knew that their home life wasn’t any better. so -- the second he was old enough to make his own decision -- shin was out the door and chose to be on his own. it hasn’t been easy but this is the happiest shin has been with himself in a long time. even if the jobs he has aren’t ideal in the eyes of his parents, he is at least glad that he is a few steps away from happiness.  fc: moon bin

meet JUNIPER. a photographer that specializes in many areas. tends to be ADAPTABLE but TIMID, the girl is good at what she does -- but she can be very shy at times. juniper has always had a good life -- even with the bad bits in the middle. but the girl does have a small fact about her that she doesn’t like to share but she has too for work and social life purposes. juniper has been considered legally deaf since she was thirteen years old. the girl is fluent in sign language and is good at reading lips, but she does have struggles at times and tends to just ask people to write stuff down for her. juniper always tries to be as positive as she can be, even when everything ends up stressing her out.  fc: kim jiwoo

meet JUNO. a photographer along with his younger sister juniper, but he tends to stick more to portraits. tends to be OBSERVANT but PARANOID, juno just doesn’t know who to trust -- so he always feels on his guard. ever since juniper began to loose her hearing, juno has always looked out for his sister and is constantly making sure she is okay. juno knows how people can be and it’s hard for him to trust people. if you have somehow made it on his good side, try to stay on his good side if you don’t. well, good luck. juno knows how to ruin someone’s life if needed. but he is a sweet boy -- honestly.  fc: park jinwoo

meet SHANNON. a speech therapist who has a heart of gold. tends to be RESPONSIVE but VULNERABLE, shannon has been through a lot and she is still working through a lot of things. growing up, shannon had a few speech problems and would constantly trip over her words. this caused her to have a lot of self doubt and would cause her to go silent at times. but as she grew up the girl surrounded herself with the right people and they brought out the best side of her. while still tackling her own issues -- shannon has found a job helping others that need it and being a strong pillar for them. of course she still has her set backs, but with her positive team she thinks anything is possible. fc: seo soojin
