A heartbreaking story about Jaskier dealing with past hurt while Geralt and Yennefer are there for him. A classic sickfic, mixed with all the feelings...

Oooooh my very first bookmark. It was of course Game of Thrones... Jaime and Brienne were the reason I was on AO3. I still remember this one, it was very adorable...

OG True Crime blogs:
Do any of them still exist? IE: bundyspooks, truecrimehothouse, congenitaldisease, etc
If they do or if you were in the OG true crime days pls like this!! I’m trying to find new blogs to follow and start over again.
My blog will never be what it was, but part of me is relieved to have that all in the past and gone (so much of it was from when I was very very young and dealing with a lot of horrible emotions) but part of me misses my blog because it meant a lot to me to see how I grew up, to see how I grew as a person for the better. Plus I miss all the old blogs!
It seems the majority of the TCC is gone as I once knew it. The tumblr crackdown on it seems to have been hard. Even when 90% of them did not glorify or condone and were just informative
I don’t even know what I can tag things as because I don’t want this to get flagged and deleted
Anyways, all the love,
Mari <3

i just looked into the whole TJ Lane thing. SERIOUSLY GUYS HOW CAN YOU HAVE A FANDOM DEDICATED TO A MAN WHO KILLED THREE HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO ALL HAVE LIVES OF THEIR OWN AND FUTURES OF THEIR OWN. LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. THIS MAKES ME SO MAD AND HATE THE HUMAN RACE. YOU GUYS ALL NEED TO RE-EVALUATE YOUR LIVES AND JUST THINK THINGS THROUGH. IM SO PISSED AT THIS GUYS.

yes, i do know what violent individuals are like, i really do. i'm fucked up in the head, i know this, but it doesn't make me wrong for loving someone, despite of. i think the fact that i know, yet love violent individuals irl, adds to my hybistrophilia.
well, in that case i really just feel nothing but pity for you because as a former victim of violent abuse, loving a violent individual has got to be one of the most empty and depressing experiences i could ever imagine
i urge you to find healthy ways to manage your hybistrophilia, maybe go to counseling or something, because in the end if you put your faith in people who are violent/unstable, it won’t work out well for you

I’ve sent my 6th letter to TJ today. I think the first 3 got lost in the mail. Then the 4th one didn’t have enough stamps on it. But the 5th one should get there any day and the 6th one is just in case the 5th one doesn’t make it.

i do feel bad for the people that they have hurt, but i don't usually see that, i don't think of that. i think of dylan, tj, eric, james, richard, etc. as more than that. i'm just so drawn in by that, i can't help it. maybe it's wrong? but i see nothing wrong with love.
“i don’t usually see that, i don’t think of that”
the reason for that is because the american media would rather bombard you with images of ‘misunderstood’ teenagers than the effects of their actions (to reiterate an old point; if it was someone you knew that they had killed, you wouldn’t feel an ounce of this attraction for them). your attraction/fascination with these people is a result of that, and probably a result of not understanding what a violent personality type is really like. have you ever known a man who was irrationally violent? i would hazard a guess and say probably not.
i don’t see a problem with love either— if you were the kind of person who said “hey, everyone makes mistakes, i still love these people despite their crimes because i love all people equally” that would be one thing
but no, you came in here identifying as a “laneatic,” ascribing a higher portion of your love to someone who was so loveless that they took human lives. and that is wrong.
i don’t expect to change your mind because clearly you and i operate on different planes of moral understanding, but this conversation is not going to end with me agreeing with your point of view or telling you that it’s healthy, because it’s not

they are more than their crimes y'know? not only am i intrigued by their cases, i spend HOURS researching them, reading transcripts, journals, 11k, everything. i feel connected to dylan klebold, his outlook on life, what he was going through, he was more than just some guy who shot up his school. and i see that, many other people see that. you just obviously can't. i love the unloved. (+ i also may suffer from a bit of hybistrophilia)
i don’t see a problem with the research aspect of it— i myself have spent a lot of time looking into the psychology of criminals and the details of different crimes. what worries me is a sense of emotional connection between a person and someone who is destructive and violent. i know you see him as more than a murderer, but at a certain point you have to realize that murder is not a way to react to a situation and it is unforgivable. i don’t care if you were bullied, beaten, or whatever was going wrong in your life— nothing excuses killing 13 innocent people and injuring 24. so don’t pat yourself on the back for “loving the unloved” when most people who indulged in the media sensationalism behind columbine probably couldn’t even name the victims that those bastards killed. have some love for those people, not the ones who were selfish enough to fucking kill them.
