in this noncomprehensive essay i will explain why Lando Norris is a werewolf:

exhibit A: pointy ears!!

i know the accepted angle is elf Lando, and while i agree, please let me raise triangular pointed wolf ears. also he’s got curly hair that mussed up looks shaggy. like a wolf

exhibit B: pet like a dog

I’m afraid calling Lando a dog is becoming a frequent occurrence on my blog…oh well

but look!! his hair is being ruffled like someone is loving on their playful puppy, and his nose is scrunched like he’s having a good time.

exhibit C: scenting thing

in this post, I compiled a bunch of pictures in which Lando tucks his head into someone’s neck when he’s hugging them. super cute and sweet but for this narrative, it’s a scenting thing

exhibit D: big paws (hands and feet)

and in this post, I compared Lando’s big ass hands to Oscar’s small dainty ones, even though Lando is physically smaller. I’m imagining he was the “runt of the litter” with small body and big goofy paws (I’m imaging a Norwegian Ridgeback puppy when I say this, even though I’m pushing werewolf! Lando). we’ve seen him as this scrawny little thing and suddenly bloom into Fully Grown over the course of a year or so, but his hands have always been massive

exhibit E: personality

if we’ve noticed throughout the course of Lando’s career, he tends to lean into physical contact. a dog begging for pets and attention. his butt wiggles when someone pats it like a dog getting butt scritches

he’s also pretty goofy with a “go get it” attitude, but always looking around for someone to acknowledge him. like a very domesticated and well-adjusted wolf, he’ll react to aggressiveness but mostly he’ll roll onto his back and expose his underbelly. as we’ve seen with Max.

exhibit F: cat teammate

he’s only ever been paired with other traditionally masculine werewolf-like teammates, so when placed with cat-like Oscar he’s not quite sure how to approach. Oscar’s the chill cat watching through slitted eyes as the big dumb dog either tries to play or is tentatively sniffing the air. there are soooo many examples you can just find on tumblr of them exploring their comfort zones and gently pushing each other.
