LMAO ok that's super funny actually. So Ace probably looks between his servant and the mage Sabo like clearly knowing which he prefers. Did not ask for some fragile glass twig of a guy.

But the flip side is interesting now. Master Ace being from a powerful mage bloodline and summoning this incredible hero. If master Sabo hangs off of his servant all the time and they're clearly involved THEN it would be fun to think how he views the mortal, mage Ace that is (maybe) his better. Do you think in his mind he lucked out with a two-for-one?? Do you think if he asked them to tag-team him, they would???

Also forgot to mention that lancer Ace is a loserdog puppy boy with shit luck whos lost countless times and countless masters and more wars than he can count so when this nerdy skinty thing of a mage summons him hes. Really not that impressed and resigns himself to another bad luck of the draw but Sabos a fighter and often lancer has to physically prevent his little master from throwing hands 😭 hence the whole picking him up bodily and holding him one armed whilst he fights bc aesthetically hot but also its a flex

He totally lucked out with both his servant and encountering the mage Ace if theyre anything alike (which they are and which they both probably would loathe) theyd yeah two for one but sabers a package deal hes slinking in no matter what
