I FIGURED IT OUT (with help from @lumiinaryofthestars )

right so y’all know that really weird and ominous post from yesterday that everyone is confused about

so everyone has been coming up with theories

will someone die?(this has been debunked btw)

new season in april or may?

we don’t know. but now like maybe an hour ago this was posted.

we don’t know what this means either. but i did some research and this is what i’ve gathered.

these posts obviously symbolize something. from these screenshots, you see that rain and coffee/coffee beans are symbolic.

rain symbolizes that a journey has been completed. coffee represents a change of feelings whether that being a new friendship/relationship or human growth.

so what i’ve gathered from this is that something major will happen between two characters. a journey of being misunderstood has ended while another journey with different and new feelings has begun.

from the screenshot above is says that coffee is addicting. it gets you going and you need it in the morning.

coffee=stability

now stability,,, where has that been important between two characters? that’s right. keith and lance.

all of this evidence is pointing right to keith and lance’s relationship.

so next season we will see keith and lance’s dynamic and relationship evolving and becoming even better than what it was from seasons 1-4.

Lance is being — twitchy. And it’s like — Keith knows Lance, okay? He knows him. He knows him better than he knows how to walk, how straighten his spine and count his breaths. Every part of him knows Lance, every part of Lance knows him. It’s been so long since it was like anything but this — so long since he was Keith and Lance was Lance and they were not LanceandKeith, together.

He both hardly remembers that time and sees it vividly in the forefront of his memory. He can picture it, then — the way he looked at Lance and felt something hot and annoyed burn in his chest and the way his eyes were constantly rolling and his breath was constantly huffing and he never wanted to be in the same room — but he can no longer feel it, feel the way he did back then. It’s foreign, now, completely. That version of Keith is so different, so warped, that he can no longer access the same feelings that he had, then.

Keith? Annoyed by Lance? How could he be? How could Lance be anything but the very heart that beats in Keith’s chest? His first thought in the morning, the last thought at night? Lance Lance Lance — Keith feels him in the rush of the blood through his veins, sees him in the brightness of every light and the comfort of every darkness. Lance is everything. Lance is all-consuming. There’s nothing about him that Keith doesn’t love, even when they argue or fight or disagree. Even the worst parts of Lance are parts Keith holds precious.

He knows Lance. With every fibre of his being. With every beat of his heart.

And Lance is being twitchy.

He’s fidgety on the bed (and Lance is always fidgety, always moving, not still even in sleep) but it’s — fragmented, somehow. Distorted. Nervous, maybe.

Keith reaches out. He doesn’t hesitate. (Of course he reaches out. He has to — it’s Lance. Of course he reaches out. Of course he does. He doesn’t — there’s no question, about it. It’s Lance.)

He touches Lance on the arm, gently as he can with fingers so rough. Presses his palm to the firmness of Lance’s bicep. Lance doesn’t startle, doesn’t jump. He melts, instead, into Keith’s touch; leaning in, eyes closed and sighing. He leans until his back touches Keith’s chest, until his head is resting on Keith’s left shoulder. He doesn’t — hesitate, to fall back. Knows Keith will catch him. Doesn’t doubt.

Whatever he’s twitchy about, it’s not — trust. He hasn’t stopped trusting.

“Do you ever think —” Lance has their hands tangled together, picking idly at Keith’s fingernails, running his thumb over the callouses on Keith’s fingertips. “Do you ever consider just doing it?”

“I consider lots of things. Often with you. Mostly with you, really.”

Keith can hear the laughter in Lance’s voice, the abrupt smile.

“Sap.”

“Mhm.”

“I meant — important, things. Adult things.”

“Like?”

“Like — like, um, our future. What we’re gonna be, later.”

“My future is with you,” Keith says simply, turning his head just so to press a kiss to Lance’s temple. “Wherever you are, I’ll go. I don’t care about anything else.”

Lance’s breath hitches, although Keith doesn’t think he’s surprised. Could he be? Does he not know the magnitude that Keith loves him? The endlessness, of it?

“I know,” he says. “I know you will.”

Keith hides a smile in Lance’s hair. He does know. Good.

“I was just — I was thinking, maybe. You and me could — we could sign it.”

“Sign — it?”

“Yeah. We could. It would be permanent, for everyone else. They would know. I’m already — I’m already permanent for you, you know? I love — I love you more than I ever knew I could love anything. You’re everything, to me, all the time. It’s like your name is the beat of my heart. I just — it’s always you. Always. There’s nothing but you.”

Keith feels his chest grow out of his skin, feels the magnitude and force of it shatter his bones and stitch them together.

“Sign the paper?” he whispers. He knew it, what Lance meant. But — still.

“I wouldn’t change anything. But — I want it. I want to be able to say it, and for it to be true. I want to introduce you as my husband to people. I mean, they’ll know, already there’s no way they won’t, but I want to it be official, still.”

Keith hums, squeezing their hands together. He’d like that. Being Lance’s husband. Lance, being his.

“We could do that.”

“Mm. Good.”

“When? Now?”

“No, not now. I just want to sit with you, now. But — later. Soon.”

“Soon,” Keith echoes.

He thinks of the racing in his heart and in his head, the pieces of him that pulse for Lance, that fall out to him. He thinks of smiling as he meets new people, of saying: ‘Yes, this is my husband, Lance.’ It’s a good thought. Makes his fingers go a little numb, a little warm.

But he also feels the weight of Lance’s body draped along his, the evenness of his breath already drifting off, the soft taps of his fidgeting fingers, and he thinks he can wait. He can wait for the rest of his life, if he needed to.

But he doesn’t.

“Soon.”
