This is the sneak peak pic I received this morning of my blue herons piece by Vervaco/lanarte! Amber did an absolutely fantastic job of pulling my mental picture out of my head when I talked to her and transferring it to the matting. I couldn’t be more thrilled!!

Today I managed to sit down with this Lanarte kit and finished the pear blossoms.

This is Lanarte's Pear Blossoms by Marjolein Bastin, I started this kit in 2021. Only when I visited my Mom and the pear trees in the garden had so many pretty blossoms in spring 2023 (even the wild pear whose fruits are inedible) I was able to continue the blossoms and the border. Finished for #ufoc2023 in August, just in time to get some tasty pears!

At the beginning of July I wanted to grab the Lanarte pear kit and finish it for #ufoc2023. Not only did my brain disagree, last weekend it also yelled 'leaf! we need to finish the orchid's leaf' at me. That was Bad and I hurt myself. Now about 2/3 of the cross stitches for the orchid are done (but i need to check the blossoms for forgotten stitches). And then backstitch. Maybe I can finish this in time for a birthday present.

I did some alteration on the kitchen potpourri, the original quote in these is a paragraph I believe from the Bible, but the I’m planning to gift this to a girl who is having other religious belief, so I changed it to some cute kitchen saying instead 🥰”
