Rain world ocs!!

Haven't poste in a while, but I return with many rain world rats and other creatures. Below will be spoilers ranging from mild base game spoilers to downpour's late game spoilers!!

Still here? Alright, ill start from who was created first, and end with those created later.

First one after Companion (now the previous yellow slugcat's name), the Venom eater! or Venom for short. Venom was Shallow River's last creation before she got infected with the rot. However, as she got infected while making Venom, it did somewhat pass onto them. Venom is able to keep the rot at bay by keeping their poison constantly fresh, which they do by eating spiders. If they go too many cycles without eating a spider, the poison patches on their back dry up, and their cycle count beings to drop. Once it hits the negatives, eating a spider will not save Venom, and they'll turn into a long legs upon dying. They're follow by an overseer who makes sure they can find spiders. Venom is unable to ascend. They suffer a similar fate to hunter when ascending, however, instead of returning to NSH, Venom just wakes up in their last shelter. Venom was created to seek out Companion and Collector after Companion went missing, tho SR is dead by the time they find Companion.

Next is the Collector. One of Shallow River's earlier creations, made to seek out pearls. Lot less about them as Collector ends up forgetting about their creator and just brings the pearls they find to a different iterator.

Next is the Cycle Skipper! A normal yeek created by Shallow River, transformed by the void sea. Whenever it jumps, it is teleported to a different cycle. It doesn't really have a goal, as it is an echo, it is stuck to wander the world for as long as it exists.

Next, the Imposter, or Glowbie. Another one of Shallow River's creations, her experimenting with hybrids. It has no real purpose, they just live with lampsters and prey upon anything living in the darkness. They end up becoming friends with Venom for a cycle, as both hadn't interacted with a slugcat before. However, as Venom isn't sure how to explain their illness to their new friend, nor do they want them to grieve, Venom leaves before Glowbie wakes up, leaving them behind. Glowbie's endings do give an option to follow after Venom, but they'll be a long legs by the time Glowbie finds them.

And lastly, Shallow River herself! An iterator who has stopped working on the great problem, and just works on enjoying her time. She loves creatures, mainly showing an interest in slugcats and lizards. And thats about it for now! Theres a few more rain world ocs ill be working on in the near future (noodle lizards and 2 slugcat x garbage worm hybrids), but ill be busy for a bit so theyll have to wait. Large Rodent Cage – Provides space for 2 ferrets or 4 rats. Place on a Cage Stand or on a stable table surface. Ferrets are largely free roam animals but should have an enclosure for when they are unsupervised or sleeping.

Small Rodent Cage – Suitable for 2 rats.

Guinea Pig Enclosure – Place any pet objects you would like within your guinea pig’s enclosure with bb.moveobjects on, such as a litter box, food bowl, or Rodent Play Tube. Place the Guinea Pig Enclosure Upper Tier in the provided slot to give your little friends more room to play.

dreamt last night that we were writing a paper for school about a species of rodent called "house-dwelling lampsters" (yes that was exactly what they were called) that looked like rain world lantern mice and they went into people's houses and replaced all their lights with themselves. this should be a real animal, we think

Bunch of New Region Ideas

-A large satellite dish structure designed for detecting signals from extraterrestrials. Satilegs can be found here. Satilegs are large crabs designed to be living satellite dishes. Their main body is the dish, and their spikes, eyes, claws, and antennae are the receivers.

-A Dark region originally built to test differently-colored plants under different light. The facility was covered by a thick roof and had many chambers between rooms. The roof has suffered some damage, allowing some light in, but the majority (80%) of the area is shrouded in Darkness. Spiders and Miros Birds thrive here, feeding on Lampsters and lanterabbits who in turn feed on mushrooms and mold.

-The Deeper parts of the facility below ground, however, still function on backup generators. Here, the xenochromatic lightning experiment still runs. Quadrants of wild under Purple, green, blue, and red light are composed of aptly colored flora, forming the basis of an alien ecosystem that knows no sun.

-A region that was once a giant instrument. Giant symbals, drums, keys, and trumpets make up the landscape. Vultures hunt through the area.

-The remains of what was once an airport/airbase. Long runways stretch into the horizon. The openess to the sky makes the region a vulture hotspot. For the land-bound lifeforms here, speed is the name of the game. Creatures must sprint between the wrecks of derelict aircraft or hide in the isolated ruin of the central terminal.

-A bulky octogonal structure high up in the sky. Many large extensions and arms stretch out from the center. In it’s prime, it was a research station for testing the efficiency of wind-generated power. The central station once had broad windows for gazing over the clouds and seeing the windcatcher arms. Now, those windows have caved in, allowing vultures the swoop through the empty insides of the station.
