Okay, listen. I know the whole point of starting on the big lot is having the comical shot of the outdoor toilet and for that reason using cheap custom content is a cop-out. HOWEVER. I have been playing this dang game since I was a tiny child. I've taken more outdoor toilet shots that I know what to do with. I have the six-disc Simlish version gathering dust in my parents' garage. To this day I don't know if it's real or if my mam was scammed. I think I've done my time, and so Waverley gets an indoor toilet.

We're still suffering, okay? Does that make you happy? Do you feel good about that?

Hello!!! After many many years of (failed) legacy challenges on LiveJournal I'm giving this another try.

Posting cadence will be fairly dependent on work but I will do my bestest to set up a regular posting schedule la la la

The Lammermuir Legacy will be a traditional legacy challenge with a couple of quirks to force me out of my comfort zone and actually interact with the game's features instead of sitting in the house all day

DA RULEZ:

Start on a 6x5 empty lot as per traditional legacy rules

One heir and one spare MINIMUM per generation

Portraits must be painted of heir (spouse optional)

One holiday per generation

One university student per generation

At least one community lot visit per generation

One pet per generation

Each generation must have a naming theme

If I mess up any of the rules, I bin it and start again. High stakes innit

He rolls knowledge, a thing for sporty redheads, and a disdain for the jobless. Considering his LTW is to make 300 flower arrangements, I'm guessing that's going to manifest into some handy self-loathing.

Stella's Big Day Out (To the Shops)

Fine. FINE. I've deleted them (I think). If you want to know how ancient I am, that download was from 2010. The oldest I found in my files was from 2007. If by some miracle you ever want a WCIF from me, know that it may take me about 6 working years to figure it out for myself x

We achieve another one of my generational objectives and get a pet! The boys wanted a puppy, so here's Coral.

Not sure what she'll look like when she's big since she's a randomly generated stray (thanks deleteallcharacters for making it impossible to respawn adoptable pets without messing about for a million years), so for now she's rocking the Fucked Up appearance typical to Sim puppies.

The living room and kitchen get little makeovers thanks to Waverley's string of promotions. Couldn't quite get the kitchen finished, but it's better than nothing!
