Old friend, new adventures

My best friend of 16 years came for a visit this last week and we went camping 😬 we went waaay out to flora lake in the back woods of Vancouver island. I have a really funny story to share from that trip but I think I’ll save it for after a very special post I’ll be making likely Monday 😉 some times as plant lovers especially, it’s nice to get out into true nature and just enjoy being present in the now. No phones, no electronics, nothing but plants and fresh air. here are some of the pictures I got. The gal in the boat is my bestie.

You guys, @uncouthrooth and I are *really good* at summer. Like really good. Guru good. With our beloved Rock Point still closed due to flooding, it was off to #turkeypointbeach today for swim #11, which was an 11/10. What an absolutely gorgeous beach, clean, cool and crystal clear. We swam uninterrupted for hours, ate life-changingly amazing chicken sammies and fries (and churros!) at @blueskiesturkeypoint and got probably (definitely) way too much sun, but goddamn if it wasn’t a perfect, PERFECT, summer day.
