𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐠 𝐝𝐫.
𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐫. ᝰ.ᐟ
— 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞.
kaz faulkner, district 10, victor of the 68th games
I was born July 19th, 62 ADD (which means the year of the 62nd games) in district 10. I grew up my twin brother, little sister and father who’s an apothecary. It was intended that I would learn his trade and later take it on. But I was chosen for the 68th games and those plans were interrupted. I look like me in my OR just with longer hair and older, also more muscles ig?
— 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬.
I won the 68th hunger games at age 16. My mentor was Brie Gibson who I became friends with afterwards. The arena was split into four sections: a swamp, a forest, a meadow, and a maze. Each had their corresponding mutts. The forest had a bear, the meadow had bunnies, and the swamp had tracker jackers. The maze didn’t have one because the idea was to have the two final contestents fight in the maze as it shifted.
My district partner was Luke Barret. His older brother is a victor but he wasn’t mentoring during that time.
psst, want more info on luke barret? ->◟ [ click here … ]ヾ
— 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲.
— 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. Eiran Faulkner
48 years of age, he/him, apothecary/doctor
As a doctor, he always smells like hand soap and vaguely the hint of black coffee. I learned my patience from him and how to stay calm under pressure. He’s softspoken but firm in reprimanding people. We’ve always been a close knit family, especially because of my mother’s abscence.
what he reminds me of : coffee beans, glass bottles, bandaids for scraped knees, white hand soap
— 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. Celeste Faulkner
??? years of age, she/her, unknown occupation
presumed to be deceased. She was originally born in district 8 but at the time of her disappearance she resided and was counted in the district 10 census. She was 26 at the time of her disappearence. I just dont want a mom 😋
what she reminds me of : embriodery hoops, colorful soap, footprints in the sand, dishtowels, egg timers
— 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. Asher Faulkner
23 years of age, he/him, rancher
My twin brother. He and I are opposites but we have a similar sense of humour. He’s an early bird while I’m a night owl. The brawn to my brains, the loud to my quiet. We balance each other out. He’s more quick tempered and physical than me and more likely to punch someone defending me. He goes by “Ash” and when we were kids “Ashie.”
what he reminds me of : scuffed shoes, biking in a forest, bug spray, worn out jeans, skateboards, worn wood railings, the smell of boiling pasta
— 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫. Mabel Faulkner
19 years of age, she/her, no occupation
Mabel is my youngest sister, she’s quiet and reserved. She gets along well with Posey Barret. Since I became a victor she became the one who worked with my dad more. She can’t stomach blood and guts but can handle sick calls so I still do some of the medical work with my dad. Her family nickname is “May” which started with my dad.
During growing season, she’s the type to eat food straight from the vine. She makes up for it though, as she waters the plants and she owns chickens! Chickens that are actually kind of vicious and only like her.
what she reminds me of : daisies, sidewalk chalk, buttercups, kittens, the sound of music, batty penderwick
— 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭.
I’m from district 10 which is livestock. It’s in Texas and Mexico. These aren’t 100% accurate photos but it’s the closest to what I believe. Plus the victor’s village is further away from the main town in my mind.
— 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞.
I live in District 10. The victor village is actually a vast field as a few of the victors still keeps cattle or crops. I live between Noah Barret and Brie Gibson with my family. There is a lake located near my home and there are a couple raised garden beds that are growing crops. We also have chickens, a cow, and a horse that we hitch up to ride to town. It’s two floors and mostly wood and stone but it’s cozy.
Here’s some vague blueprints of the house …

Saké Camellias
Word count: 3.4k || Gender neutral reader Pairing: can be read as platonic or romantic
Kaedehara Kazuha x Forest Watcher!Reader. Not requested, just something I wrote awhile ago. Nothing really happens.
Synopsis: the crew of the Alcor is celebrating on solid land, and you and a friend have slipped away from the tavern and its chatter.
“You’re drunk.”
“Am not.”
“You are,” you chuckle, glancing over at him to make sure he doesn’t need steadying. “You so are.”
“Mmnot.”
You sip your own drink, a non-alcoholic and deathly sweet, dendrobium red. “Sure.”
Kazuha spins just to grin at you. “I can hold my liquor, Forest Watcher.”
“You can barely hold yourself up.”
“How rude.” Light-footed as ever, it’s a trait that never leaves him, even as clearly wasted as he is. He doesn’t trip, even walking backwards, nor stumble. In fact, his words don’t slur at all; but you know him, and even if you didn’t, the rosy flush of his cheeks would be a dead giveaway.
You only laugh again and take another sip.
It’s night-time. The moon, a full, unblinking eye, glimmers silver in the black sky, among constellations like scattered marbles on a bedroom floor. Its light breaks the shadows of the ornamental garden you two move leisurely through with clarity, revealing blossoming pinks of the flowers and their proud reds, soft oranges and freckled blues. You don’t know any of their names, do you? Maybe there was alcohol in this after all.
“Should we go back?” Something in his expression tells you he knows the answer as he asks.
“No,” you say. If you didn’t feel so damned peaceful, you’d curse yourself for being so predictable. “Let’s stay out here a while longer.”
He grins, and turns again.
You faintly hear the rest of the crew from the tavern – is it a tavern if it’s Inazuman? it's not like an inn, anyway – chatter, raucous laughter, you only hope at the back of your mind they don’t break anything, but knowing pirates, the chances aren’t exactly slim.
Pirates, are you a pirate now?
…Nah. You’ll always belong to the rainforest, even so far across the sea.
Even so…you like this as a temporary home.
“…What are you doing.” It’s a statement out of your mouth less than a question. Deadpan. Kazuha throws his head back with a laugh that rings in your heart, as ugly as it may sound warbled by the drink’s effects. Not a care in the world.
“Searching for something. A ronin comes to know many things. Search with me?”
When you step forward to comply, he holds up a hand, only his smile cracking the dead serious demeanour.
“No. Actually. It’ll be a surprise.”
You shrug, cup your hands around your drink, though it may not be warm.
Is he…rooting around in the flowers?
It startles you, honestly, when his hand shoots up, triumphant – he’s plucked a red flower and now holds it to the sky.
“For a samurai,” Kazuha nearly drawls, though his voice remains gentle. “A red camellia is a symbol. Yellow or pink varieties may refer to missing a friend, or so I’m told, while white camellias refer to a period of waiting. The red, however…”
He lowers his hand like the flower’s made of glass, and meets your gaze. His is like firelight. You’d start if you didn’t miss it whenever it left you.
“A noble death. Fitting, no?”
Ah.
“The dream of every samurai.”
He nods conspiratorially. “Exactly. To perish with grace and dignity is many a warrior’s final wish, why, it’s the origin of seppuku…a samurai must die honourably, for, does any other way really have them fit for the title?”
“Though, I heard it a different way.”
Kazuha looks up again, a curious expression unfurling on his flushed face.
“Oh?”
“For those who don’t consider themselves warriors, the red camellias have a quite simple meaning.” From where do you know this, anyway? One of Tighnari’s long rambles, though, you can’t imagine why he’d be talking of Inazuman flowers…
You let your gaze drift across the lake of flowers.
“They just mean love.”
You hear Kazuha laugh gently.
“That too, y/n.” You look over and he’s tucking the flower into his obi. He glances up, looking possibly the most mischievous you’ve ever seen him. “Love.”
You knock your shoulder to his playfully with a snort. Of course he’d deliberately make it unclear whether he was just repeating the word or addressing you.
That is incredibly…drunk Kazuha.
“You knew you’d get this drunk. You only denied you were ‘cause I don’t really drink.”
“Maybe. The sounds of nature whisper clear skies tonight, and I felt I could afford to.” He looks at you warmly. “I don’t feel I am in danger with you at my side.”
You scoff. “That’s rather unwise. You’re a hundred times better than me with a blade.”
“Maybe, y/n, but you command the hush of the earth and the skies. Perhaps it’s your connection to the tree of wisdom, but you’re more powerful than you know.”
“I’m not sure I am. How’d you know, anyway?”
“The birds told me.”
A smile cracks across your face. “You usually put it more eloquently than that.”
“Alright.” He closes his eyes, and begins quietly, “Cooling under the eaves.”
Cooling under the eaves. You commit the phrase to memory.
“And just as cool…”
Just as.
“Birdsong.”
“That wasn’t five-seven-five.”
“Did it have to be? It was pretty. The cool air, just as surrounds us now, compared to birdsong.” He opens his eyes, face still pink, and you wonder if it’d be hot as a furnace if you put your hand to it. It certainly looks that way. “Birdsong cool as night air, like wind chimes’ piercing sound.”
He takes your hand with his bandaged one before you can respond, a gesture familiar from the ship’s deck. It’s always felt more like something between friends than of romantic partners, and you tighten your hand around his gladly.
“Come on. We should be getting back to the others.”
“Just what I was thinking, before you collapse and I have to carry you back to the inn.”
He gives you a sly look. “A samurai is well acquainted with the song of wine.”
“Yeah, I bet you’re also well acquainted with the dirt if you drink this much every time.”
He makes a little huffing sound.
“But really, you should visit Mondstadt. The stories I’ve heard from Collei are truly just that. If you’re interested in this melody of hard alcohol, that is a wonderful destination.”
“Is that so?”
He falls a little into your side. Not so light-footed after all.
“We’ll have to go together sometime.”
---
You spend most of the walk back to the inn without exchanging words, a few of the crew joining you on the way. They don’t comment on your joined hands, well used to such things both from you two and among themselves, and you sneak glances at the two rumourmongers as you walk (making sure Kazuha doesn’t slip as you go, as if he really needs it).
You hear much of Captain Beidou’s alleged interest in a female crewmate who’s hidden her affections for a long while, a curious but intriguing prospect considering her, well, rather obvious relationship of a certain kind with a lady of the Jade Chamber…though you doubt Ningguang would object strongly to such a thing from what little you know.
A couple of the crew break off to head back to the ship, and you’re at the inn before you know it. You gently extricate your hand from a Kazuha pretending he’s not about to nod off, and head to your room. Of course, it would be well within expectation for him to drink and celebrate until dawn, as much of crew was in fact still doing, but…it seemed he was satisfied with the evening, and had already decided he’d drank his fill.
A strange thing, considering how he really was…”acquainted with the song of wine”. The thought drifts lazily in your head as you fall into sleep’s sea that you may have played a part in that.
The last things you think of are the rosy blush on his face and the curl of his bandaged fingers around the red camellia stem, and then you’re dreaming of magnolias, growing on the mossy branches of home.

a/n: i swear i'm (half) alive 🧍🏻♀️ but yeah, i've been punching out words lately and it's probably a bad idea to post this at the end of the weekend when no one will see it, but thank u again @justalildumpling for being my hypewoman ily
TEASER BELOW THE CUT (APPROX. 500 WORDS)
“It’s a warm morning out,” your mother murmured, then quickly added, “hey you.” She knocked her hand against your arm.
“Hm?” You asked as you finished up Alice’s braid and tied it off with the blue Cinnamoroll hair tie she’d chosen. You patted her back with your hand. “You’re done.”
Your little sister hopped to her feet. “Thanks!” She dashed away and out of the room—to where, you had no clue. You figured she knew where the food was if she was hungry.
You angled your body to squish your side against the couch cushions and face your mother. “What were you saying?”
“Ah, I was going to talk to you about the Joshua Hong boy.”
Joshua Hong. You didn’t realize you could hear a man’s name so often within twelve hours.
You made a gesture with your hand. “What about the Joshua Hong boy, Mom?”
“Well, isn’t he a handsome one?” She asked you enthusiastically, straightening. It was alarming how bright her face just got. “I spoke to his mom while Kevin and I were walking just now, and he’s only a few years older than you, you know.”
You heard a metaphorical record scratch. What? There was so much in that one sentence that you needed to unpack. You raised your hands to signal her to pause. “Wait, since when do you and Kevin take walks together?” What could they have been talking about? You knew Kevin was an exceptional conversationalist, but never in your time at the lake had you known of this interaction.
Your mother blinked. “Oh, we started the tradition when you didn’t come up with us that one year.”
“Tradition?” So this happened more than once? You didn’t know why you were so scandalized by this information—it was just Kevin after all. You knew your parents, and even your siblings, were all fond of him—of course they were. You were arguably even more fond of him, but that wasn’t the point. You hoped she hadn't said anything about you and him as an item at any point in time… you trusted that Kevin could handle that though; that was what the pact was for, after all.
“Why are you making such a big deal out of this?” She arched a brow. “But anyway, yes, so we bumped into Josh’s mom on the last leg around the lake, and she mentioned that he’s majoring in chemistry and planning to go into medicine. You guys might have something in common."
You pursed your lips. Perhaps the two of you might have something to talk about, but your track was pre-veterinary rather than pre-med. There was probably a middle ground though... Maybe you were just being stubborn.
“Just make friends or something,” she said to you while standing up from the couch. “You need more of those.”
Your eyes shot wide open. “Hello? Mom?” Now that was simply uncalled for.
She chuckled impishly as she walked away and disappeared down the hall, leaving you to yourself. You were lucky neither of the twins were here to hear that burn.

Help me choose a setting for a Criminal Minds HSAU
1. Tucker, FL - sweat, bugs, saltwater. A small town where everyone knows everyone, but there are still too many secrets. Empty during the school year and too packed during the summer. Pizza parlor, arcade, skating rink, laser tag. No real sports programs to speak of and all the kids know they need to get out. There's a cabin that has been the site of teen hangouts for generations. The old lighthouse serves as a clubhouse.
2. The Pacific Northwest - snow, hiking, stargazing. A sleepy town outside the city where people start families. There isn't too much to do in town, but teens hangout at the local diner, the 7/11 parking lot, and the nearby lake. Football is king, but the high school also has a debate club, a robotics club, and other activities to pad out your college applications. Ice skating, camping, fishing, baking, roadtripping. There's an old cabin in the woods that serves as a clubhouse.
3. Traverse City, Michigan - The Cherry capital of the world. There's a beach every few miles and teens love to watch the sunset and secretly drink beer. Bookstores, an old movie theater, festivals, cafes. It's a well-funded area, one step away from classic Americana. Night time is silent and black as pitch, so drive carefully. Soccer and Football are popular, but there's plenty to do. Every summer, local teens work at the International Cherry Festival. bonfires on the beach and smoking weed in the forest and ice cream with the cows.
4. Nowhere, Pennsylvania - It's a tiny town, but the city is close enough (if you have a car). The high school is normal, if a bit small. There's a local horse farm that cares for rich folks' horses, a movie theater, a diner, an ice cream parlor, and a few other things to do. It's not an awful place to grow up, but any teen with ambition is counting the days until they can leave. The town decorates for holidays, goes to church every sunday, and doesn't talk about what happens at night. stargazing, camping, swimming in the nearby lake. hunting, roadtripping, fishing in the creeks.

Reasons Why You Should Consider Renting a Home
Renting a home can be a smart choice in multiple situations as you can stray away from long-term commitments and huge investments. Further, rented homes allow you to predict your monthly expenses with ease, something which might be impossible to do at an owned property. Let’s take a look at the key benefits of renting a home.
Minimal Expenses
Ease of Relocation
A home can quickly lose value when the locality starts witnessing more crimes or simply when the neighboring areas are making a lot of progress comparatively. For residential property owners, this turns into a big problem as they could end up selling their property for a lot less than they bought it for. This is not the case when you live in a rented home as you can opt to shift and rent home fast in Arizona at another location.
Less Responsibilities and More Free Time
When you live in your own house, you have to keep an eye out for potential problems like roofing, flooring, and other issues while ensuring they’re repaired on time. This is an additional responsibility that all homeowners are required to take on in order to maintain their home’s overall value. Contrastingly, when you rent home fast in Las Vegas or other top locations, all you need to do in case of a potential problem is notify your landlord as it’s their responsibility to keep the property in top-notch condition.
Looking for a New Rental Property?
If you’re searching for the best properties in top locations across the USA, you can count on Zelloo for all your rental needs. Whether you’re looking for a condo or a single-family home, Zelloo provides you access to the best rental properties and makes it easier to rent home fast in California, Florida, and other sought-after locations. Here are some properties that you can consider for your next rental!
Property 1: 2606 MAGGIORE CIR Kissimmee, FL 34746
This is a single-family home built in 2004 which boasts five bedrooms and three full baths. Located in the Gated Community of Brighton Lakes, the two-story home also comes with a spacious 3-car garage. As for the community, you can find playgrounds, tennis courts, beautiful views if you like jogging, and a lot more.
Property 2: 210 JOSE OLIVER COND New Center Plaza #1607 San Juan, 00918
A property of 721 sqft, this condo was built in 1974 and comprises two bedrooms, one full bath, one parking space, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, and a closet. Its 24/7 security, playground, electric generator for common areas, and water cistern make it an amazing rental choice for people shifting to a completely new location.

On Wednesday, atheist Joseph Richardson of the Central Florida Freethought Community was slated to deliver an invocation during a meeting of the Tavares City Council in Florida.
He gave an excellent speech, urging the commissioners to “unite in the spirit of reason, compassion, and the pursuit of justice.” He reminded everyone to make sure their actions were “guided by the principles of inclusivity, fairness, and respect for the autonomy of every individual.”
Perfectly fine. Completely non-offensive.
But then, immediately after Richardson was done, Phil Clark, the city’s utilities director, was invited to deliver a second invocation. A replacement invocation. A Christian invocation. Because, apparently, the secular one didn’t count.
Clark’s brief speech referenced “Heavenly Father” and asked God to “forgive us for our sins… in Jesus Christ’s name.”
Even more shocking? This isn’t the first time this has happened to Richardson. In fact, this is the fourth time a local government in Florida has felt the need to “correct” his supposed error. It’s previously happened in the city of Apopka (2015), the city of Eustis (2017), and Lake County (2022). A similar corrective measure occurred in the Arizona legislature in 2017 when a state legislator gave a secular invocation, only to see one of her colleagues request and receive permission to deliver a Christian one right after.
In 2019, after Richardson gave a secular invocation in the city of Ocoee, the mayor literally apologized afterwards, saying, “This is something that was brought to us to do, not that we do it.”
Atheist invocations don’t need a Jesus-infested “do-over.”
Maybe even more damning is the fact that Clark was ready to go with a pre-planned sermon even though the agenda for the meeting only listed a member of the Central Florida Freethought Community as giving the invocation.
This wasn’t an on-the-spot decision. This was decided in advance.
Now the Freedom From Religion Foundation is getting involved.
In a letter to the Tavares City Council, attorney Chris Line calls the council’s actions “discriminatory and unconstitutional.”
We write to ask that the Council immediately apologize to Joseph and ensure that the discriminatory conduct exhibited at the February 7 meeting does not recur. If the Board cannot treat invocation speakers equally, instead favoring Christianity and denigrating nonbelievers, the practice of having an invocation needs to be eliminated entirely.
FFRF is also requesting public records regarding this makeup invocation, including all communications between council members and Phil Clark.
David Williamson, co-founder of the CFFC, told me the treatment of Richardson shows a clear “pattern of discrimination.”
… Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised when we see more of it nearby. Our invocations are inclusive and appropriate to solemnize the occasion. To treat non-theists differently than others who provide an invocation is clearly discriminatory and we have already shown that we won't stand for it… We intend to be at the next meeting to speak during public comment and express our great concerns for this practice and request an apology.

How To Ensure Electrical Services in West Palm Beach And Palm Beach, FL?
Electricity is a type of energy that the modern generation cannot do without. It is essential to be cautious when harnessing its power and using it for various purposes. Sure, an individual is free to change a light bulb or replace a blown fuse without asking for help. Anything more complicated would need the intervention of a licensed and experienced electrician to ensure safety. Thankfully, such professionals are not too difficult to find. While many of them prefer to work alone, others are engaged by electric companies or work under the supervision of an electric contractor. Their prowess and experience count apart from being licensed and carrying insurance.
Some of the most common electrical services in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach, FL, that require early intervention by a seasoned electrician include the following:-
· Installation/Repair of Switch or Outlet- Malfunction of a light switch is fairly common. A buzzing switch or power outlet spells trouble. An overload or damaged connection, or broken wire may be the reason behind it. While many of the components may be at fault, the switch itself may be damaged irrevocably. Fixing it is not a DIY task, though. One must contact a professional to repair it perfectly. The expertise and proper tools are both essential to have the switch work perfectly again.
· Upgrading Electric Panels- The most essential part of the electrical system in a residence is the electrical panel. This part has all the power entering it to be distributed to other areas of the residence. Even a tiny issue in the panel can affect the quality of electricity in the entire residence. A low-rated panel needs to be replaced or upgraded to ensure better electricity consumption and functionality. A professional electrician can do it without any trouble.
· Installation/Upgrades/Repair of Lighting- One cannot live in darkness today. Installation of advanced lights and decorative fixtures, as well as repairs, can be done within a jiffy by trained and licensed electricians who have the skills to identify and make the required repairs. The electrical services include both indoor and outdoor light fixes as well as installations. Architectural lights, signage lights, and pool lights also require the expertise of a licensed electrician when it is time to install, repair, or replace them.
· Wiring & Rewiring- Individuals moving into a pre-owned home are eager to make changes that suit their lifestyle. Often adding illumination, power outlets for heavy home appliances, and electronic devices may become a necessity. The first step is to check the existing wiring and install a new one or repair the worn-out parts. All this needs to be done by a certified electrician in Lake Worth and Lantana, FL with long experience. Trying to do it after watching a few YouTube videos is a strict no-no. Such activity may result in burn injuries and worse.
Electricity is a boon, but handling it properly is necessary to avoid risking one’s life. Any repairs and new installation must be handled by certified & licensed professionals adept at providing electrical services in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach, FL.
