I've been away on a bit of a "queer journey part 2" because of veilguard.

It's given me a lot to think about in terms of my trans-ing experience through video games. Despite any qualms I may have about dragon age as a whole, getting to play as a trans man and have my character identify as such was pretty euphoric.

I even started my own (very smutty) fanfic because of just how badly I wanted to see Rook and Taash's story(ies) continue to develop.

So I'm going to be very not normal about these fictional characters for a while, and I'm sharing my AO3 here if anyone wants to see that happen in semi-real time. And as is the case for everything I'm very normal about, I also made art.

Sometimes I'll roam the corners of r/fashiondogma, fawning over other people's characters, wanting to draw them. And then drawing them.

Seriously though, it's a huge achievement for a character creation system in a video game to represent dark skin so well. So when I saw a beautiful image of someone's pawn in dd2, I just had to draw them.
