The day started at LagoAlgo, a gallery space alongside the lake in Bosque Chapultepec. I went straight into the Biennial closing lunch around noon & didn’t stay to look at the work on display to join my boss, Claudia, at Museo Tamayo.

The two of us squeezed into the backseat of her childhood friend��s car, I don’t remember her name. They told me about how the Chapultepec project came to be in the 70’s as an efforts to conserve greenery & public spaces for the community instead of developing more housing. Now it’s the home of thousands of trees & I don’t know how many museums. Next time I go I want to ride around on an Ecobici.
